Custome Care are a bunch of clowns
They were more interested in making excuses for why my solar system shouldn't provide power to my home using the battery backup which died after 10 minutes that fixing it. Then they tell me maybe someone can help me in 24 hours and to call back. I ask is someone opening a ticket to which I get no we aren't because we don't know about any problems. $%&^*%$%(&^%(*&^%^(&*^%^(*&)*&^)*&*(&^ NEVER GO WITH SUNRUN THEY ARE CLOWNS AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE

i had solar panels installed by sunron didnt even want too they convincedme saying i could reduce my pge billits been almost a year and im paying the same pge bill plus sunron chargese me 143.$ a month ive called and they say its pges problem

Stay Away From Sunrun -Far Away
I signed up for the Sunrun ‘remove/re-install program due to a new roof for my house. (Remove existing panels and re-install them at a later date.) The re-installation of my panels has been a nightmare. Starting with the first team who wired my panels incorrectly and blew out my inverter and 9 of my panels. Since then, it’s been missed follow up appointments, a lack of ownership to get my system up and running, and a genuine lack of caring for their customers. They even keep billing me for the remove/re-install process when my system isn’t running. No one at Sunrun cares. It’s been almost 2 months to re-install my system with no end in sight. Run away from Sunrun to one of the other solar companies.

The crew showed up right on time as I was told, and started working right away. And when the job is done, they cleaned up everything around the house and I couldn’t find any debris at all. I was very impressed and very happy with the who process. Thank you Sunrun!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY
It’s been about eight months since we got the roof because they sold the solar panels they sent twice people to try to fix it made it worse Could not fix it then send their outside roofer to check it the roofer WHO THEY SENT said, because they drilled holes and the underlayment was too old, which they should’ve checked as part of their inspection before they put in the panels. Which we could have the roof done first before we did the panels now they WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY WHO WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR MISTAKE!!!!!

TERRIBLE COMPANY!
PLEASE DO NOT HIRE SUN RUN! The entire company is a mess! They did not install the underlayment and the tiles back on properly which lead to a leak. The leak caused a lot of water damages to our home in various areas to the point where the bathroom ceiling collapsed! I had to pay out of pocket for an emergency tarp (which btw is not cheap!) because we could not get in contact with Sun Run! It's been almost 3 months and we still have not had any repairs done even when an inspector finally came out and had admit fault! We can barely get anyone to pick up our phone calls or even call us back when we leave them voicemails. We write emails to them daily and still barely any help except that "they are working on it and they are escalating the matter..." Our case has been shuffled back and forth between different Sunrun employees/case managers and they either don't know what is going on or say the "case manager is out of the office and will return our phone calls," but obviously they do not call back! We have documentation on everything and have photos as proof. We even hire a lawyer to write up a demand letter to fix the repairs and it was sent to their legal counsel, and yet NOTHING! I feel like I've exhausted so many avenues and nothing has been working. Recently, I filed more complaints via BBB, CSLB, and wrote up negative reviews across their social media pages. I am tired, frustrated and stressed on this ongoing matter. It has taken an emotional toll on me. I want to make sure no one else has to go through the same situation as us! RUN FROM SUN RUN! AVOID SUN RUN AT ALL COSTS!

Worst company ever BEWARE!!
From the beginning I was lied to, coerced, and taken advantage of and it continues 4 years later. I’m not going into details, but buyer beware!! They are manipulative and say whatever you want to hear to get money out of your pocket. If you’re smart, buy the system outright from an actual solar panel company. Sunrun does not provide the installation, they use local solar companies. Their customer service is nonexistent, unless you’re going to be charged for something. You have to go through them for everything and they respond when, and if, they feel the need to do so.

Harassment and unable to explain system
If you are late on one payment they will call you two times a day every day after 1 day of just being late. If you answer they lie to you about fixing an issue if you pay X amount and then not fix it. They clearly test the boundaries or outright break the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I didn’t sign up for solar power since I wasn’t the original owner. I had it transferred to me. If you have questions about how the system works they don’t understand it nor can they actually explain it to you. The system cost more than what I use in electricity. So covers cost of my electricity but paying twice for solar. Prior owners were inbreds so not shocked they fell for their BS. Do not do solar with SUNRUN. Literally in the name…. Run from them. Plan on buying out my system.

Salesman was a lier
Salesman mad it sound so great I would never pay electric bill and I’m only leasing so I can get them removed any time for a fee of 500 not true !!!! I’m saving for retirement so I thought this would be great nope I’m paying 100 dollars more for electricity!! We called salesman it of course he not calling back we are on our 3 month panels only saved us 31 dollars !! Hoping in time it will work out but I do t think so .so don’t do it
