Outstanding is all I can say. I have referred Green Power Energy to three close friends and they agree with my assessment. The price was good, the product was great, and the energy production is exceeding expectations. They show up when they say they will and if anything happens they let you know. From start to finish they have been professional and very responsive. I had a couple minor issues and they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. I am extremely picky and did allot of research on companies and trust me you will not regret choosing Green Power Energy. Even after my final payment, when most companies would probably disappear, they are still as diligent and as professional as the first day we met. Green Power's representative said, following completion of my project: "you are no longer a customer you are now our client".

Professional and straight forward Solar company

Great company. Peter the solar consultant was an expert and a professional, very thorough and detailed with how solar works and what options i had for my project. No third party, everyone i dealt with was from green power energy which was great. Installation went as planned, no issues, everything worked great, and all the information i needed to register was sent to me with clear and easy to follow directions. Follow up with Kevin who is the relationship manager was also very informative and also reassuring that I have a point of contact for whatever questions I may have moving forward. Overall great solar company, very competitive pricing, guarantee their work, and very responsive. If you're looking to go solar I would highly recommend Green Power Energy.

I got to know about 'Green Power Energy' when I was looking for solar quotes. I found their quote 'good value for money' and the industry leading inverter & panels too. They were prompt in terms of communication, follow-up. The system is performing really well and I'm happy I went with them for my Solar installation. GPE was excellent!

Green Power Energy was great to work with during each phase of my solar install. From the initial consult through the post-installation follow-up, I could reach someone at GPE whenever I had a question (of which I had many) and I always felt confident that they were trying to help me invest in a product that would benefit my family - not just make a sale. Plus, all of this was completed while in the midst of a global pandemic! Kudos to GPE, if I had to do it all over again I'd choose them every time.

professional and clear

We used EnergySage.com to understand the value of solar panels, our needs, receive and compare competitive quotes from installers who are members of their organization. Green Power Energy was our final choice and we were completely satisfied with our decision to purchase our panels, and have GPE install them under less than ideal circumstances given the pandemic. Proud to have made switch to solar for our planet. Our only disappointment was that 6 months later in August our neighbor signed a contract with GPE but wasn't able to get their panels installed before the end of this year due to covid delays at the city hall permitting office.

Great experience overall

I was referred to GPE by a work colleague. I got my solar panels installed and activated earlier this year and my overall experience with GPE was very positive. From the initial proposal to install to post-install GPE kept me informed the entire way and their staff was always responsive to questions. The installation was smooth and seemed like a thorough engineering job. The system has only been active for a few months, but so far, the system's yield matches or exceeds what they stated in their initial proposal. Their staff is courteous and professional. I would recommend them for solar panel installation and service.

simply AWESOME!

I was thinking of going solar for a long time but took the plunge earlier this year based on positive feedback from my friends and neighbors. I got quotes from multiple companies but what stood GPE apart from the rest was their expertise and experience in this field and not to forget their price competition. Peter Dunn was simply outstanding in going over all the details, provide guidance and answer all my questions (even at odd times). Installation was a breeze and everything went like clockwork. GPE kept me informed of next steps well in advance and notified me of all approvals promptly. The best part was the post installation follow up meeting. Kevin Nally spent close to an hour going over important details such as TRECS, inverter reset, meter readings, warranty, etc.. Special thanks to Peter Dunn, Will Miska, Kevin Marceski, Kevin Nally and the entire installation team for their outstanding service and "Customer First" mindset.

Great company, great results

Overall I had a very positive experience with GPE from initial contact throughout the whole process. There are some positives I would like to point out. First off, there was no sales pressure. I worked with Sonny, and I like how he jumped right to the point: what my needs are and what my options would be. No long stories about how awesome GPE is etc (which they are). Sonny kept me in the loop every step of the way, and called/texted me with all updates. All tasks were completed in a timely manner, and when Christine from operations dept took over, she stayed on top of UI and my town hall to minimize COVID-related delays during the system connection phase. GPE followed up with a post install meeting to make sure the system works and to provide me with additional helpful resources. Overall, I received stellar customer service and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Outstanding Pricing & Service

I was very hesitant about going solar and cautious to say the least about what company I chose based primarily on pricing (LG panels in my case). GreenPowerEnergy was surprisingly able to beat all the competition (nearly 10 other companies across the state in NJ) and the icing on the cake was that they are a large company who has been in business for several years so I didn’t have to worry about them going bankrupt and not providing after sale service if/when needed. From the sales, design, engineering, install, and post-install care, my expectations were exceeded in every way. They are extremely responsive via phone and email at all times and were very proactive in getting my system up and running with the state ASAP. I have no regrets and can say without any reservations that if you are thinking about going solar, do not hesitate to choose GreenPowerEnergy over any other company. I am not the easiest person to deal with and I was impressed on all fronts with how they handled every incident and situation that came up along the way. Great overall experience!

We had a great experience with Green Power Energy when installing our ground mount solar system! For the most part, there was efficient communication throughout the process and the follow up customer service post installation was great, as it explained how everything works!

Great Experience, No Hesitation Recommending!

Green Power Energy was recommended by a friend and I found the end to end experience to be very good. They provided lots of information along the way and communicated with me step by step. There was very little I had to do, they took care of basically everything and checked in to make sure things were going smoothly along the way. All of the paperwork was handled by them including permits and township followups and they did a post-install walkthrough to make sure my wife and I understood how the system worked as well as the TRECS process. I would certainly recommend them without hesitation and will likely use them again.

Got the Job Done Well at the Best Price

Just turned my panels on last month. Interacted with a couple different people in the process. Each of them was very responsive, professional, and got the job done. Obviously, I just turned the panels on but everything seems to be working fine so far. Got the best price from them and they explained everything very thoroughly (and I can be a pain in the butt with to many questions). Unless something terrible happens you can assume things are A-OK in reading this post as time goes on.

Professional, expedient and flexible.

I had the pleasure of using this company recently to have solar panels installed on our roof and detached garage. The sales and administration staff were very responsive and able to answer any questions we had about installing solar and everything that comes after. When the crews came out for the actual install they were very polite and expedient. The end result looks fantastic and they put you with a liaison for any further questions you may have regarding the solar system. I would highly recommend anyone looking into installing solar to use this company

GPE Solar Satisfied

Like most, I was overwhelmed by the various energy contractors, panels, inverters, costs, savings, etc when embarking on my residential solar project. I turned to EnergySage in an effort to drill down each provider's approach from sales > design > installation > after-sales service. The answer immediatley became very clear: Green Power Energy was the perfect fit for me. In addition to having a sellar pre-sales experience with Tim Desalvo, he never disappeared after signing on with Green Power Energy, despite having an entire team supporting my project. I was fortunate enough to have my PTO (permission to operate) 90 days (!) from contract signature - which was pretty remarkable considering this was initiated during the COVID-19 outbreak. I've been producing solar for 50 days now, and have already enjoyed a $4.99 PSE&G electrical bill for my first month (the peak of summer season) and the utility's minimum amount for distributio. I am also on track to generate 2.0 MWh by the end of my second month! Incredible. Kevin Nally came out to meet with me personally a few weeks post-install to review the system in its entirety, answer any questions, and provide me with a personalized binder of everything related to my system install. Following state certification by NJ Clean Energy, Will Miska provided me with highly detailed, personalized instructions on how to register for PJM-GATS and NJ TREC in order to earn and cash-in on my TRECs for solar production. It was white glove service from start-to-finish. And it's never "finished," as GPE provides continued support for the life of the system and I have the confidence they are always a phone call or email away. I certainly compared local/regional partners with national partners and the choice was abundantly clear for me. GPE could not have been more efficient navigating the public utility company, my local municpality for permitting, and NJ Clean Energy to ensure the most efficiently executed solar project. You certainly won't encounter that with a nationwide provider, as other customers will attest.

Great system, service and team!

We found Green Power Energy by way of Energysage, and we trusted and liked their system of obtaining quotes for our solar project. Our sales rep Tim was knowledgeable and always responsive as well as everyone on their team. Our project was installed during the height of COVID and had multiple hiccups but I still recommend them to everyone I know. We had a 12kw system installed and haven’t seen a PSE&G bill for 3 months and have built up over $1200 in SRECs to be sold. Loving our sleek LG all black panels. They also installed our level 2 Tesla charger, which we supplied, and upgraded our panel from 100 to 200 A.

Prompt..Professional...Competitive - Overall good experience

GPE was recommended to me by a friend of mine. Prior to contacting them I had contacted one other company, their quotes seemed much higher. We personally found Green Power Energy very responsive throughout the process, especially given the fact that the system was designed and installed during the pandemic. Most of my correspondence was via emails with a couple of phone calls here and there that kept me pretty informed. Steve was very helpful early on during the initial discussion and process. After that the project team took over and was prompt on progress and status updates. Will and Kevin wrapped it up nicely. The entire process took 5-6 months and its been about two months since the system was enabled, things looking good so far. If you are considering a solar system, I would recommend Green Power Energy.

Great job and service considering covid :

GPE was recommended to me by a work associate. The process started in Dec of 2019 and completed in May of 2020. Everything went smooth. All GPE workers were knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. The roofing/gutter company they used were excellent. The solar installation team were excellent. The GPE rep who sold us the project Steve McHale was excellent and Kevin Nally the after installation rep was also excellent. I would recommend this company with full confidence, they stayed with me thru the entire process. Considering the darn pandemic and the delays we had to work around , I am extremely happy and satisfied with everything....tyvm GPE.

Excellent company, competitive pricing. Sales was very transparent and honest about the benefits. Looks good on the roof. Installers were very professional, which was great as this occurred partially during the lockdown. Business side has been very helpful as well with issues with the electric company.
