When shopping for solar, I requested quotes from multiple companies. SolarMe wasn't the cheapest, but I could tell that they were using higher-quality products and installation methods. The design was very well planned, explained, and laid-out for my property. The installation went very smoothly, and has been operational for well over a year now without any issues. Highly recommended.

Seapoint Solar took their time to educate my wife and I. Unlike other companies that we had met with, Seapoint Solar properly managed our expectations. The owner Vince , was very hands on and was accessible 24/7.... We were told that we would have a little to no utility bill outside of a small connection charge. Over the past 6 months our highest utility bill was $4.47! My family and I strongly recommend Vince and Seapoint Solar

Very pleased with our solar installation and would highly recommend Hilton Head Solar. Steven and his team go above and beyond to meet all your needs. Installation was done neatly and in a timely manner. It is wonderful to work with a company that cares about their customers. Not only do we love our minimal electric bills but seeing on the provided app how many CO 2 emissions saved.

As noted in the title Sun Up Zero Down did a real nice job of explaining, contracting, processing the state paperwork and installing the solar array of panels on our roof top. They were very timely in getting the permits and getting the install done before the end of the year (it was done in December) so that we could take advantage of of the tax credit for 2019. We are very pleased with our decision to go with Sun Up Zero Down. Very pleased indeed.

I called so many Solar Companies to understand about their offer and the specials going on. Most of the companies gave me either lease or finance options and showed less interest in full ownership option. Whereas, Mike who I worked with from NJ Solar told me that if I could go for full ownership option, then I would be saving more compared to the other options He also drafted on what my cost is going to be and how much will I be saving and when would I break even and so on. Once I like what Mike and NJ Solar offered, I signed up, but still have few more questions (on panels, inverter and so on) which Mike was able to respond quickly. The installation literally took 1 day. Half day for the electrician to do his job and next half a day for couple of guys to put the panels. All of these guys were very helpful, especially Bill in explaining to me that what they were doing and additionally guided me on what I would be required to do when the grid is turned on. Ideally it should take a month or two for the approval process and your electric company to turn on the grid, but mine took almost/close to three months since my township had so much backlog which delayed my approval on pre and post install submissions. There were so many tips and hints both Mike and Bill provided that even though I installed in late June/early July, my August Bill for electric was $ 2 and change since my electric company charges me for the basic fees. I am really impressed with the commitment and service NJ Solar and the team has provided. I have even recommended couple of folks to NJ Solar and will keep recommending more.

The process was easy. Even though our HOA rejected the first design, the agents kept working towards obtaining an approval until it was approved. The approval took about 3-4 months and installation was about 2 days. I love how sleek our panels look and really love seeing how low our electricity bill is.

I inquired multiple solar installation contractors, small & big, local & national. After reviewing all the proposals and comparing the equipments, the services and the warranty they offer, I finalized with Public Service Solar. I was initially skeptical, so I researched further to do my due diligence. Overall, I got a good feeling. Along with solar installation, I also got my roof installed with them. They gave a great combo offer. While reviewing the contract, they took time to explain all that would be done in their job. They followed through their time-line. They did a great job for roof and solar installation. No project is without any issue, so when there was a minor issue (my personal Wi-Fi signal was not strong enough to connect to Enphase system) during the process, Tony and his team were fully willing to resolve the issue and they provided Wi-Fi range extender at no cost. Even after the system is turned on, they are still equally supportive and responsive. Especially Sean, he is very prompt to get back and to address all valid and invalid concerns. They completely lived up to my expectation, so I recommended them to some of my friends and would continue recommending others.

I was excited to get solar panels for my home, and was looking forward to it. However, now I regret getting solar panels from Venture Solar. It looks terrible. Spoke with representatives several times in regards to this matter. The conduit pipes are crooked, completely exposed on my roof. They could have tried to conceal the conduit pipes.

Our path to was lead to Impact Solar when two of the homes in our neighborhood said they used them. They were not one of the pushy solar companies that had been seeking out our business. The experience with the sales individual was friendly and informative without ever feeling pressured, rushed or under informed. We have little to say about the installation because it was as seamless as it gets. There were no hiccups, the crew was polite and kept me informed of anything I needed to know. Post installation, I was kept updated on all of the formalities of getting my system connected to the grid and they readily answered technical questions I needed to get my system registered for inputing my generation and selling on my own. Impact Solar should be highly considered for anyone looking for a solar company.

The reviews scores for the largest solar companies are far worse than those for local, family-owned solar installation companies.
The best solar companies meet the following criteria:
The solar industry is full of fly-by-night solar companies — both big and small — that open one year and are gone the next.
Solar panels last for 25-30 years, so you want an installer who will help you with any problems or system faults. For this to happen, your installer needs to be able to stay in business
Local solar companies, as a group, have the highest reviews score on our site and also have lower overheads than corporate installers, making them more likely to survive in the long term.

I used this company to have a basis for my solar panels on my new house. They did a great assessment of my usage, roof, and environment. They came to the house after numerous meetings online (COVID) to finalize the project and check if 100% everything was fine. Everything financially was reviewed. Before starting, they took over all the communication with the HOA. Once approved by the HOA, the project was started. I now have 28 beautiful Solar Panels which cover 100% of my yearly usage. Would I recommend Cape Fear Solar Systems: YES.

We chose the item because we felt that it was a good program; unfortunately for two months the system was faulty and due to a mixture of rash estimates, faulty math, and general incompetence for 9 months are bills were wildly erratic and bore little relation to production numbers. The company seems to have outsourced each of their customer service/billing/production depts. and they fail to communicate with each other and no one seems to have any authority or ability to answer questions. Their help desk does not reply to emails. Our bills and production numbers have now settled down and we would be happy enough, but we are still in dispute over billing errors as the production records and billing do not match. I regret entering into a contract with such a systemically poorly-organized company.
