I am very happy that I utilized Green Power Energy for my solar installation. They handled the entire permitting process and kept me posted regularly through emails. The installation was done quickly and neatly. They provided a detailed written explanation of how to register my solar energy production and receive payments for the excess energy I produce. My electrical bill last month was less than $5.00. They have also checked in regularly to ensure that I am satisfied with the installation.

We had a great experience working with GPE. Austin Dow was responsive, honest and clear with all information. He gave us all the information we needed, without trying to force any of our delicious. We had worked with other solar companies previously and thought their tactics were pushy, dishonest, and disingenuous. We had none of that coming from GPE and we're able to make the choice we thought suited us best. The installers did a fantastic job, they were courteous, polite, and performed as all professional trades people should. 11/10 do reccomend.

The operations team, installation team, service crew, etc are all responsive and more importantly know what they're doing! Great Experience

I found Green Power through EnergySage when I started looking into switching to solar energy. After doing a lot of research, it was clear that Green Power was the best choice. The whole process was smooth and efficient. All our communications were done electronically, and any questions I had were answered quickly, usually within a few hours. Green Power handled everything, from getting permits to scheduling inspections and working with our energy provider to get the system online. The installation team was professional and addressed any concerns I had right away. I was really happy with how the installation went. Timing was crucial to meet the end-of-year deadline, and Green Power delivered with great efficiency. If you're thinking about switching to solar energy, I highly recommend Green Power. New Installation

Green Power Energy has been helpful and responsive from the beginning of our journey with Solar Energy in NJ. They respond both by phone and e-mail. The installation went smoothly and the panels are fully operational.

We have had a great experience with GPE to install panels on our home. All the people we worked with were prompt, explaining things accurately and correctly, and everyone was really helpful and patient. Especially as our installation process was lengthy due to the historic nature of our house and barriers thrown up by town officials. However as long as we didn't give up, GPE supported us and eventually we won and our solar was installed and turned on. As others on Google and Yelp have commented, when we compare GPE's work with that of other installations around us, they did an exceptional job to hide any conduits, cables and the panels look less messy than what I've seen all around me. We had the opportunity and chose to pay out of pocket, instead of financing and GPE made it clear and easy. As many people aren't in the position to do that, they provided us with the options and helped us choose without pressure, but with the assistance needed. While we ran into minor issues around the installation, with the help of our main GPE contact person, these were resolved to our satisfaction. And we now are enjoying the longer sunlight days that generate our power. After the system went live, the service hasn't stopped so far, so we're confident this stays this way.

Green Power did a wonderful job with our Solar Installation. We signed contracts in July/August and installation began a couple months later after all the paperwork was ironed out, submitted, and approved. The system went live in mid November! Excited to get into the spring/summer to really see the system go! Through the process, the Green Power team was very responsive, communicative, and supportive of questions. Never did I feel alone or out of the loop on what was happening.

We used Greenpower for our install in New Jersey this past fall. Overall, it was a very good experience. We got a bunch of initial quotes through EnergySage, and spent a couple of weeks talking to both GPE and two other smaller local installers. Ultimately, we went with GPE because their price per kW was actually the lowest of the bunch and they were a larger installer with solid reviews. I'm glad we did. Our sales rep was decently responsive throughout the process. Some steps took a little longer, but they would respond to my follow up emails within a couple of days. They handled all the permitting and process - we just paid. When there was a small electrical issue after the initial install (just a couple of outlets in the house not working), they sent out an electrician at no charge within 24 hours and he fixed it right away. We've had our system running for about two months now and it's working well. If you want a solid and reputable solar company, I'd recommend getting a quote from them.

Transparent, Efficient, and Stress-Free Solar Process

My husband and I had always wanted to get solar panels, and when we finally purchased our home, we decided to make that dream a reality. A Positive Experience

I had a very positive experience working with Green Power Energy from initial quote through Permission to Operate. The sales and quoting process was straightforward and low-friction, and everything was handled digitally. There was no in-home sales pressure, which I appreciated. Despite very high demand in the residential solar market, communication was consistently solid and responses were generally faster than expected. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and professional, from sales to installers to post-install follow-up. The installation quality itself was excellent. The conduit runs were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully done, to the point that it made me notice how sloppy other installations can look by comparison. Cleanup was also outstanding. Based on prior experiences with roofing and exterior work, I expected a significant mess. That was not the case here. Green Power Energy did a particularly good job managing expectations around timelines that were outside their control, such as permits and utility approvals. They intentionally overestimated these timelines, which turned out to be a smart and customer-friendly approach. The project ultimately hit the PTO timeline we expected, with no major surprises. Most importantly, they consistently did what they said they would do. No installation is completely perfect, but any minor issues were small and situational, and none affected the final outcome or system performance. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience and the final result. The system is live, producing as expected, and the installation quality is excellent. I have already recommended Green Power Energy to friends and neighbors and would not hesitate to do so again.

Wonderful experience, could not have been smoother. They took care to answer all of my questions and handled the full install with minimal needed from me. Every single person was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The crews working on the roof did an excellent job and left no mess behind. I had one single panel that was damaged in delivery, was the very last panel at the bottom of the stack, and they had a replacement and someone out to install it within a few days. Longest part of the process was waiting on my municipality and PSEG, but no fault of Green Power Energy, that is just the way it is. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to go solar.

Wonderful experience working with GPE

It was a pleasure working with Green Power Energy for installing solar on my roof. From the initial consultation right up to the final commissioning, they have been reasonable, courteous, and have always acted in a professional manner. I was informed of every step through the Green Power Energy App and via email. There were some issues with the monitoring but their service desk addressed the problem immediately and got it resolved. The entire process took about 5 months but most of that time was for getting the required approvals, permits, scheduling inspections, and getting the final permission to operate. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for solar to get in touch with Green Power Energy.
