After researching, aka doing my homework, many solar companies, local and national, GREENPOWER ENERGY far exceeded my expectations! I personally have recommended them to my friends and neighbors. ... and it wasn’t JUST a great price, which could not be beat, on a per watt basis, it was the entire organization from STEVE McHALE (great knowledgeable Salesman) to Kevin( my “forever” contact and everyone in between. Truly TURNKEY with professional design and install team who worked with me and my ideas. It’s one of those companies you should check out before going solar!!!

Guys were professional and great communication.

After searching through a few review sites came across these guys as I originally was looking for Tesla tiles they are an approved subcontractor and going directly they them was a lot more cost effective. Great communication throughout and great follow through afterwards. Work was completed quickly and professionally. Def shop around but make sure you include green power in your process.

Great experience

It was great working with Peter and team at Green Power. Initially I was attracted by Tesla due to their low price and brand name, but upon reading the reviews I decided it was worth it to go with a low priced competitive local company. From the sales to installation to ongoing customer service the whole team has been great. And our power bill has gone down drastically!

Great solar company, great customer service

I recently hired Green Power Energy to install a solar system on my rooftop. The whole experience was positive as the company is organized and provides great service starting from Sales, Installers, and Customer Service follow up. The actual installation took a few weeks (but the overall process takes months) and the crew were professional, thorough and neat. Highly recommended company.

Happy Customer

After getting some quotes at Energy Sage I selected Green Power Energy. I felt that their quote provided me with the best value for my money, and I was impressed with their quick response. I'm happy I did. Be advised that getting approval is a long process with a lot of hoops to jump through with local authorities, power companies, etc. Green Power Energy does all that for you which makes it easy. There is a lot of waiting, occasionally being sent forms to sign. At the last minute I learned that I had to take a tree down in order to qualify for the state tax rebate. Fortunately, I found a tree service that was willing to put me near the top of their queue. The panels were installed and the the quality of the materials and workmanship is excellent, especially the rail mount system. Also, my installation is the only one I've seen in the area with "critter guards" to keep out mice, squirrels, etc. Once the panels are installed, your relationship with Green Power Energy doesn't end there. It lasts for the lifetime of your panels. I was given a point of contact who I met with online. He will be there to answer my questions and help me in the event that I encounter any problems in the future.

Great company to work with

It has been a pleasure working with Green Power Energy. Our panels look amazing and every step of the way they have been flexible, accomodating and have made changes we requested. You can buy solar panels anywhere but good customer service is priceless.

I am very happy with the entire experience with Green Power Energy. Their cost is reasonable, simple and laid out clearly. The staff are courteous, considerate and efficient, resulted in very minimal interruptions to us. They provided clear timeline and adhered to the schedule. I had visibility of the entire process and received frequent updates at every step of the way. Post installation service is excellent. Great, easy Installation

Green Power Energy did a great job installing the solar panels on our house. They were knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive when we had any questions. The system is working very well, and they have been very helpful with information about getting the system up and running, using the solar app, and how to navigate NJ's TREC system. We chose Green Power on a friend's recommendation (they had solar panels installed by Green Power and we very pleased by their work). We were too.

I chose Green Power after lots of research. They offered competitive pricing and good equipment. I did a loan through Clean Energy CU so that i wasn't leasing the equip but would own all equip when paid. There were a few delays that I had to follow up with and push along but over all great program and system

Hassle free awesome service

I had a great experience with green power, starting with the sales person Peter Dune was very patient with all my questions, he was very readily available to all my calls and texts, he seemed very knowledgable and was able to answer all my questions and explain all the difficult technical issues but the most important thing is that he was able to give me an excellent price for my solar system, before I signed with green power I had got 6-7 different quotes from local and national solar companies and green power quote was the best value. Installation took a couple of days, I was very impressed with the installation team, they had to get into my attic and basement, they were very efficient, polite and clean. The relationship did not end by the installation, even before I reach out for them with my questions I had an email from the Green Power team with all the information to register my solar system with local NJ TREC account so I can get local NJ clean energy incentives and they also called me to schedule a virtual meeting with a team member to answer any question I might have. I would highly recommend Green Power Energy to any one who wants to go solar.

Excellent Communications Throughout

If you're thinking of going solar, be sure to avail yourself of the services of energy sage. They provide excellent advice and hassle free ways to compare quotes from various providers. We received several bids for our project. IN the end, we went with Green Power Energy, for several reasons: cost, customer service, communications being paramount. Green Energy was not the cheapest, but was by far the best in terms of responsiveness, answering any question I had about the system in an efficient and informative way. Excellent customer service and great communications from all members of their team.

Excellent customer service before, during & after installation

They are very good at what they do and I would highly recommend. A very nice touch was the phone conference a few months after install answering any questions I had and a chance to review the performance together.

Very positive experience! As an Aviation Flight Engineer I am very particular about installations and attention to detail. The installation team was well prepared and did a fantastic job. Everything was well planned right down to the clean up at the end. I am very satisfied, and would use Green Power Energy again on future projects

Great Company, Offering and Service

It was a real pleasure working with Green Power Energy. The were very professional, patient, knowledgable and attentive. I had many questions as I was comparing companies and their offerings and they communicated very clearly and helped explain both the technical and financial aspects very well. Their offer was competitive and their strong reviews and ability to work with their representative convinced me to go with them. Getting solar takes time and several steps, but every step along the way went according to plan and expectations. Even the process to register for TRECs had very easy to use instructions. My system has been online for several months now. I don't normally write reviews but in this case I was very impressed with Green Power and would highly recommend them.

Great Company

Very good experience with Green Power Energy. My brother had Green Power install his system 6 months prior and recommended that I speak with Sonny (his real name!) to get the ball rolling. My brother is meticulous, so I didn’t even look at other companies and was very pleased with the results. One thing I noticed right away with this company, is that they have the entire process truly mapped out and everyone in the organization understands their roles and responsibilities. I worked with Sonny and the Green power design team to layout just the right system for us. They were very responsive and provided great direction and feedback along the way as I learned more about solar. I would say I never waited more that a day for a response and mostly heard back within an hour or so. Sara (Operations Manager) was awesome and answered all of my questions along the way! I still ping her occasionally with questions and she gets right back to me. After the system was installed, commissioned and activated, Kevin walked me through everything I needed to know and answered any questions about the equipment and the TREC program. Truly great customer service. There were a few hick-ups along the way, but Green Power reacted quickly and resolved any issues. I think this speaks volumes about the company. They really do care about their customers, not just during the sales process, but also after the installation is completed. I know if I called them today with anything, I’d hear back right away. Really glad I chose them for my solar project!

Great Experience

Working with Green Power Energy was a great experience. We started with a consultation with Charlie. Charlie walked us through the plans for our specific array and helped us understand exactly what we were getting and how it was going to be beneficial to our specific needs. We then transitioned to the install where Mike and his crew were incredible. They were efficient and did a great job of cleaning up their materials once the job was done. This was a huge plus for me having two kids and a dog playing in the backyard all of the time. Once the installation was done, the electrical team made sure to walk me through how the new breakers work and how the array is linked to my network. Finally, we met Kevin were he explained the ins and outs of TREC’s and how to maximize our dollar. The central theme of working with GP is that everyone I talked to throughout my time with them was that they explained everything to help me understand what exactly I was investing in and to make sure that I was comfortable with what we were doing. I would highly recommend Green Power Energy to anyone interested in solar energy.
