Everyone we have dealt with at Eagle Point Solar have been fantastic. Our array has been installed in quicker timeline than we imagined. Now we are waiting for Alliant to give us the go ahead to turn it on.

I recently had a solar system installed by Eagle Point Solar. The installation crew was great, the electricians were professional, and the system is producing clean energy for my home. What really stands out about this company, however, is their integrity. We ran into a highly technical discrepancy regarding the specific inverter hardware and the resulting financial projections. When I brought this to their attention, the owners of the company (Randy and Dave) personally got involved. Instead of making excuses, they stood firmly behind their contract. In an industry where a lot of companies disappear after the panels go on the roof, Eagle Point Solar proved they have incredible accountability and stand behind their customers. Highly recommend them if you want a company you can trust.

No complaints, they were able to get our system in and operational before the rebates ended in Illinois, was a big push to get everything done. Everyone I delt with was quick to respond, polite and knowledgeable. Now that we have permission to operate per our utility company I'm anxious to see how the system will perform.

From the start I was impressed with Eagle Point Solar. Another company came to my house and I got stuck listening to their harassing sales pitch which made me think solar might be nice. I reached out to Eagle Point and they had a no pressure informative pitch. They were good to work with. I happened to purchase at a busy time and even with that they were responsive.

Very satisfied with all the installers involved in our project. Very neat and clean installation.

We got quotes from 3 different companies. Two quotes were similar for the cash price, while the 3rd was about $9k higher. We chose Eagle Point Solar because of the cost, we felt Chris Hoffman was very personable and honest, and they worked with us on obtaining financing options we were looking for. We were having a new metal roof installed, and they scheduled the installation to begin soon after the roof was completed. They needed to install a piece of conduit along the roof that could not be run through the attic, and we didn't want it to stick out, so they found paint that matched our roof color and painted the conduit. You don't notice it unless you're looking for it. Eagle Point Solar communicated very well during the project, keeping us up-to-date as things progressed. Outstanding customers support.

Eagle point solar installed our array in 2019. Since day one we have had nothing but positive dealings with Eagle point. Installment went smoothly and quickly with professional installers. The system has worked as advertised. This summer we had a small problem with a wasp nest surrounding the inverter. Either the wasps or my attempt to remove the nest caused a toggle switch to be moved to the off position. One phone call to Eagle Point Solar (Dubuque) customer support resulted in the system being back up and running in 10 minutes. Nicole instructed me on repositioning the switch and immediately the system went back on line. Could not ask for better customer support. I have sung Eagle Point Solar’s praises since installment and will continue with such excellent support. Thanks Nicole.

Eagle Point Solar has been a great company to work with

Eagle Point Solar did a great job presenting us with options for solar energy for our situation. The staff was great to work with, advised us what to expect timewise (waiting on Alliant Energy approvals, permits and inspections is a lengthy process) texted us with updates as the project progressed and answered our questions as we went. I would recommend them for your solar needs.

Eagle Point Solar knows what they're doing. Everyone involved in my project was professional and knowledgeable. Installed in one day, only delay was waiting for Alliant Energy's approval. Just received my first electric bill since installation. Was paying over $100.00 MTh. New bill $11.00. Thanks Eagle Point!!

No service if have an issue

4 of my panels quit producing after about a year in service. Called Eagle point solar in late April the first time I have called every month for the last 5 months and have been told they are working on getting me scheduled for service. In those 5 months I have not received 1 call, email or text to let me know what is happening

Going Solar

The staff at Eagle Point Solar was very professional and knowledgeable. They did a full analysis of our electrical usage for the previous year and designed a system around that usage. The installers did a great job working in difficult conditions and were very friendly.

Go somewhere else!

Wouldn't recommend this company in ANY capacity! We started our solar project in March of this year and are still not live as of 12/21/22. We are now paying for both solar array that we cannot use and our electric company. There have been SEVERAL setbacks throughout the whole project none of which anyone acknowledges or takes responsibility for. The only person managing the project and staying on top of deadlines is me, the customer who is paying 40+ thousand dollars to get it. On top of that a huge reason we got the solar in the first place is for the $10,000 tax refund that we were told we would qualify for. I have expressed my concern about not getting that or having to wait until the end of NEXT year to get it due to it not being functional by the end of the calendar year with ZERO acknowledgement at all. No "were going to look into that for you" or "we are going to do our best to get you up and going before that happens" - NOTHING! (Note, IDK the exact system size or panel brand we got)
