★☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointed with PegEnergy I had a terrible experience with PegEnergy. As part of my solar installation agreement, they promised to pay off an existing loan as a condition of the sale. It’s been several months, and they still haven’t followed through. I’ve contacted them multiple times via email and phone, but I either get no response or vague excuses. This failure to honor their contract has left me paying interest on a loan that was supposed to be settled. It's caused significant financial stress and wasted hours of my time trying to get someone to take accountability. PegEnergy’s lack of communication, broken promises, and unprofessionalism are unacceptable. I strongly urge others to be cautious before signing any agreements with this company.

Terrible experience
I type this review after calling and leaving my 20th message to Peg Energy troubleshooting “team”. I Signed up to get Solar system installed through Peg Energy in June 2022. After delay after delay after delay and excuse after excuse after excuse, my system was finally installed and running the last few days of May 2024. Peg Energy has had the worst communication than any business I’ve ever dealt with. They did make the payments on the loan for the duration BUT It was never in a timely fashion and at times the payment was made months late. Now that I do have the solar system up and running for the last two months, What was promised and what was delivered are not the same. I ordered a system that was 17.2 kW but the system that I received produces less than half of what was designed and paid for. Peg Energy, like other vendors, suggest designing a system that’s 80% of your typical usage of electricity but I designed the system that was about 110% of my usage because I was going to get some equipment installed and wanted to make sure that was taken into consideration. Over the last two months, the system has produced about 50% of the electricity I use in my house, which means I pay more for electricity than I did before having solar If you take the loan payment into account and what my current electricity bill is. I have attempted to contact Peg Energy diligently over the last month, but I have yet to receive a phone call back from their troubleshooting department to figure out what the problem may be. I would not recommend Peg Energy to my worst enemy. I would see other vendors because the customer service culture Peg Energy is not existent.

Terrible Communication and Awful timelines
My experience has been an absolute miserable one. I signed up to get solar installed in November and it is now Aug 5th and my solar is still not turned on. To there credit they are sending checks to take care of the solar loan but the problem is they are never sent in a timely fashion and I always have to call begging for the checks. But the biggest issue I have with them is the terrible and I mean terrible communication and coordination they have. Communication has been an issue almost from the start of our contract. A constant stream of misinformation and poor planning has lead to mountains of stress for me and my wife. On multiple accessions I was asked to stay home so contractors can come in and work in my attic only to be told by the workers they don't need access to my home. Vice versa I had received calls at work asking me to give people access to my home when I was told they're only doing outside work. Due to COVID my wife works from home so coordinating turning off my power is a big deal, well not to PEG energy twice they told us they didn't need to shut off my power when they did. They worst was when I went on a work trip and 3 contractors from PEG energy showed up to my home unannounced and tried to guilt trip my wife into letting them in. When I spoke to Jessica at PEG energy she tried to guilt trip me into letting them in saying "Sir this will only delay the process more" not understanding why I wouldn't want 3 strangers in my home when just my wife was there. Richard the supposed supervisor called me later to apologize. When Richard took over I was promised more communication and correct information. That has turned out to be also wrong. On July 21 first I contact richard for an update on my account and after two weeks I caved and called to chase the answer myself on top of that I still haven't gotten my loan check for this month and will need to call again. Working with PEG energy has brought nothing but stress, both emotional and financial on my family. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I've been holding off on this review for 9 months in hopes something would change and it's only gotten worst. If you want solar pick any other company. If you have any other question please feel free to contact me.

Very good company
They came when they said they would. Gave a very good presentation of their product. Let us know what to expect and followed through as promised. We did have an issue on start up and they came right out and fixed it. Only been in service for a month but already seeing power bill reducing.
