Green Power’s the way to go!

From start to finish, Green Power Energy made my solar project stress free and as easy as possible for me. Their customer service department was extremely professional and diligent about answering my questions and responding to my needs in a timely manner. I’m happy with my choice to go solar and to go with Green Power Energy to make that happen.

Good quality and professional onsite crew. The planning of the solar project took a little time to solidify and there was a bit of confusion / lack of communication between the sales team and operations team regarding the layout and number of panels. The sales team initially thought more panels could fit on one section of the roof than what was allowed per state fire code and as a result our initial design had a significantly lower output than originally discussed. It took a decent bit of back and forth and reworking the numbers to get everything where we needed it but the sales team did work diligently to make sure we were happy with the design and that our needs were met. Green Power Energy is pretty responsive and completed the project in a timely manner once the project was set for installation. Their support staff was very accommodating when scheduling the various parts of the installation and the field staff was always on time and never caused any delays. We did have a cosmetic issue with our installation (exposed conduit running across the roof) that we wanted addressed and the head of operations (Mike Sobiesiak) was very easy to deal with and willing to work with us to have it cleaned up and better hidden. However, the sales manager (Tim DeSevo) was harder to deal with and was not as forthcoming when needing to work out any installation issues. Overall, the installation was quick and very professional. We have been using the system for a few months now and everything has been working great without any issues. The support staff was helpful and promptly answered any questions we had with setting up the various accounts you need in order to claim your credits from the state. They were diligent in keeping us updated throughout the approval and installation process and scheduling all of the site visits required for the installation and various inspections. They were also sure to schedule a post-installation follow-up to make sure that we knew how to use the system, how to claim our TREC credits, and remind us to contact PSEG to move our anniversary date in order to maximize our credits. I would definitely recommend Green Power Energy, especially to anyone who is looking to pay a little extra for not only a professional installation, but great overall communication and after-installation support.

Turnkey solar installation

Green Power Energy recently completed the installation of a 15KW system and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the project. From estimation through installation and commission, they handled with promptness and professionalism every aspect of the project, including liaison with the electric utility and state and local authorities, permissions, and inspections. Their projections of power generation have been very accurate so far. I recommend them highly.

No Hassles no Headaches

Green Power Energy installed our 35 panel solar array and did a fantastic job. They worked with our roofing company and did all of the permits. Yes it is a long process but now that its done it was so worth it. They even redid their plans when we insisted to only have panels on the back of the house. I just click the app on my phone and know how much energy I'm producing.

Highly recommend GPE

Great company, very glad I found them. From the beginning of the process, really appreciated the educational (not condescending) and low pressure approach. Later learned that they give honest assessments, ie they’ll tell you “no, installing solar won’t be financially worth your while”, while other companies might just say “yeah your home is perfect for it”. Was able to talk through different options, manufacturers and layouts. Although the process overall took longer than I’d like, there weren’t delays due to GPE, and they were communicative about the timeline and next steps, eg waiting for town approvals which typically takes X weeks. No unexpected surprises and great customer service throughout. Very happy with the system so far!

Green Power Delivers

I was just starting to look into solar energy. A neighbor, who I trust for his technical expertise, told me about his positive experience with Green Power and gave me Peter Dunne's phone number. I left a message for Peter and he called me back promptly. He first asked questions and then let me know what the steps were to determine if my home was viable for solar. He then sent me the position of my home in regards to sunlight. I sent him a copy of my electric bill showing the usage for the past year. Based on that, he sent me a proposal of the suggested layout of the panels, a quote and a detailed explanation which was easy to follow. After careful review, I decided to move forward with Green Power. They were there for me every step of the way and delivered what they promised.

Great experience- highly recommend!

Green Power Energy was a great company to work with for our solar install. We decided to purchase our system vs. doing a purchase power agreement that a lot of the door-to-door companies offer. Our biggest issue with those companies was that they wanted to do a credit check and house review before going into how much solar could even be made on my roof. Not Green Power Energy! In our 1 hour consult with Peter, he detailed our roof, treelines, elevation, sun patterns, etc, and calculated everything in real time so we could see what different panels would look like and produce. Once we signed the contract, all communications were timely and very professional. All departments responded very quickly to any question. Maybe most importantly, the electricians that came out from the company had a definite pride in who they worked for. Our solar system looks great, functions well, and the process was easy thanks to Green Power Energy.

done on time on budget without error or much of my effort

I wanted to get Solar up and running prior to the drop in the tax credit rate. My project went from a sales pitch to active sub 45 days including a run around from my township with the permitting. I had to work directly with my township for the permitting as that was on my townships demand. It was explained to me that this was an embarrassing break down in service for Green Power. Regardless every document I needed to drop off at the office was review by Green Power and overnighted to me. Install was done in a single day while I was working from home. I had one power disruption for 10 minutes but that was caused by an electrician's error and my crumby electrical panel. Thankfully that error didn't end up with a dead electrician in my basement and Green Power sent the manager out the next day to ensure everything was up and running. Post the single afternoon install I didn't have to do anything, Green Power took care of everything else. They keep sending me marketing information and requests to hook my friends and family into their network like a weird MLM or cult which I am not a huge fan of but that's the free market for you. The whole project was professionally handled by Green Power staff which I apricated, no dodgey contractors or third parties were involved. In addition the whole project was relatively hands off for me. Everything was explained clearly to me and I was encouraged to ask question. Even the plans were given to me to approve as if I was an engineer. Project was done on time, on budget, without error or much effort on my part five stars. If it matters my project has the panels as Hanwha Q-cells which was not an option given below.

Easy and Smooth Experience

I spoke to a lot of different companies when it came to adding solar panels to our roof. Green Power Energy was the most professional and responsive of the bunch. They also did not use any hard sell pushy tactics that so many solar companies engage in. The final installation looks great, works well, and was done beautifully.

Solar installed without the hassle

Green Power Energy has been a fantastic company to work with. Our first interaction was with Sonny in sales. He didn’t pressure us into anything we didn’t want, and took the time to work with us to explain our options and answer all of our questions. From there the design team helped us put together a system that would end up meeting our requirements of not having panels on the street-facing side of the house, but still produce enough power to offset our yearly usage. The install team unfortunately came on some of the hottest days of the year, but they took it in stride and didn’t seem to have any issue with it. Our electrician, Dave, was phenomenal, going above and beyond to quickly fix a wiring issue and then to ensure everything was completed professionally and with pride. Finally, we truly appreciate the follow up from Kevin and the customer support team to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction and giving us a single point of contact in case anything comes up in the future.

Excellent Company - Handles Everything with Zero Pressure

I had an excellent experience using Green Power Energy for my solar design and installation here in Pennsylvania. I cannot overstate how smooth and stress free the entire process was. I initially reached out in 2020 for a quote, but was not yet ready to move forward. I received zero pressure from the sales team and incredible insight and information. I circled back in 2021 to finally move forward and was able to pick up right where we left off. The team at GPE, from Sales, to Project Management, to Account Management was available the entire way to move things along and provide answers to any questions I had. I was skeptical when I was told that they handle everything, but they really did. From the design, to permitting, to pushing the utility company and finally installing the system, it was very easy from my perspective. I was sold on the direct purchase option they offered, which is less than half the lifetime cost that other companies who offer "zero down" solar. It is clear this is an extremely well run organization from the top down and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in escaping the escalating electricity market.

I would really recommend Green Power Energy for your new Solar System installation. Once you sign an agreement all the process is implemented in timely manner. It's been close to 9 months after installation and system is functioning pretty well.

Working with Green Power Energy has been a pleasure, and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is interested in a solar project for their home. They seem to be the "Goldilocks" of solar companies. Big enough to have the expertise, technology, and staff to get the job done the right way, and small enough to really take care of their customers and make sure that everything goes smoothly throughout the entire process. I spoke with a lot of people from GPE leading up to and after my installation, and every single person was delightful and incredibly helpful. I wish more companies were like GPE! Thank you!

Green Power Energy makes the switch to solar a breeze!

Green Power Energy was and has been fantastic from Step 1 of our journey to put solar panels on our roof. Peter Dunne, the Sales Consultant, was extremely knowledgeable and taught us everything we needed to know about going solar. He was very responsive and gave great detail on all of our questions. The entire process was way easier than I ever could have imagined. GPE handled everything and made it super easy as a consumer to get into solar power. Easiest process ever!

Green Power made it absolutely unbelievably easy to get solar! They were extremely attentive through the whole process and are available even after. Our whole system was completed less than 3 months after our original inquiry. They work with your utility and you just sit back and watch!

I couldn't have hoped for a better result. Everything has been phenomenal with our solar install. Communication, explanations & results...SUPERIOR I would not hesitate to recommend Green Power to anyone. I researched so many solar companies and they really stand above the rest. Full 25 year warranty with all hardware and most importantly 25 year warranty on the labor as well.

They were great to work with right from the start. Austin was always accessible and responsive to questions. The installation crew showed up when promised and did an excellent job, working with me to ensure that I was happy with where they were putting everything. I now pay less than $10 a month for electricity and I couldn't be happier with the system and GPE.
