They changed owners and have gone completely remote do you can't reach ANYONE by phone and no one ever gets back to you. We are current customers w solar panels installed in 2020. With the new ownership we can't reach anyone...no one gets back to us and I have been editing ONE MONTH for someone to get back to us with a quote for device. I've sent 16 emails....and have been promised resolution "by the end of day" three times and receive nothing...and then have to send yet another email bc there's no one to call via phone. Do not use this company!!!

The house I purchased had solar panels (HAD panels), but I needed to remove them to install a new roof, the Cross Atlantic Company was responsible for my system, so I called them up, explained the project, got a quote, agreed on price and decided to execute it. So far so good, I paid half of the invoice as agreed to have the panels removed, they sent someone fairly fast and the first part was done in no time. BUT the problems start to show up on the second part of the job, the reinstallation. A representative from the company reaches out to me to advise that they wouldn't have a time slot for me for at least another two weeks. I was sad, but no big deal. 24 hours later this same person calls me and tells me that if I pay the second half of the invoice on that day he could put me for the follwing day because someone missed their window. I was thrilled so I paid the invoice and to summarize the story, I have been waiting for a little more than 2 and a half months for them to show up. And to my surprise, the excuse is that they DON'T HAVE THE MATERIALS to reinstall my panels. This company sold me on a job they didn't even had the tools to finish it. Unprofessional and disrespectful to their customers.

had Cross Atlantic Solar install my solar panel back in 2019. The sales man outright lied to me, showing me a fake reimbursement check that a ‘client’ of theirs got from Florida Power and Electric because his home was generating so much electricity that it produced more than he used. Come to find out, nope, FPL doesn’t do that. Next, I discovered that this $48,000.00 solar system was only saving me about $180 of my $300 a month electric bill. Had I known this, I would have never bought the system. Again, I was lied to about that by the sales man who said I wouldn’t have any electric bills at all. Sold me on using the PACE program so there would be no upfront cost to me. That was a joke! My house payments increased by $1800 a month! But the real kick in the head ? When I confronted them about this, they said that the system they installed wasn’t even large enough to generate the electricity my home needed, claiming I didn’t have enough roof space. Here’s the thing - They only installed on about a third of my roof. There is plenty more space up there. Now, this lovely $48K solar system isn’t generating the 300watt energy as was promised. It is now generating 36 watts…. So I call Cross Atlantic Power. Turns out it the scam artists ‘sold’ the business to a new owner who made it clear that they are a new company, but operating under the same name. WTF I was told that for $200+, they will come out and look at my system to see what is wrong with it. Thursday was the scheduled appointment. Guess what happened Thursday? NOTHING! No one came. No one called. Nothing. I called the office but only got an answering machine. I am beyond angry with this company. Be warned. If you want to do a solar install - DO NOT USE THIS CROSS ATLANTIC SOLAR!

Let me start of with I’m easy all it takes is a phone call. This company is a joke! Failed inspection, which delayed the installation. Left tools on the roof, debris around the house. NO communication, when I say no there was 0 people telling us when they were coming, no body knows what’s going on, they do not call you back, site manager was nowhere to be found. you have to constantly chase them, don’t even bother asking for the manager or the GM, they are clueless and dodge you. The experience was pitiful and extremely unprofessional. I HAD TO ACTIVATE MY OWN SYSTEM! Now I’m not sure if the system I was sold is adequate to net any electric. Seek another installer, because I wish I did!

Cross Atlantic Solar installed solar panels on our home a little over a year ago. Since then, we have seen reduction in our electric bill of around 95% from what it used to be, which is exactly what they promised. After doing the research, we went with Mission Solar panels and two Enphase batteries. Overall very happy with the experience and glad we finally went green! Highly recommend Cross Atlantic!

GARBAGE COMPANY!! In the process of filing a lawsuit against this company, paid 48k for paper weights! System never worked properly since install in March, system is down since October, Matt / Brooklyn and Tim the owner will ignore you, lawsuit coming and website about my experience is being created to help others NOT make the mistake I did! They actually hire sub contractors to do shoddy work and when there is an issue the first contractors are always blamed for wrong install and yet the problems never get fixed because these people don’t know what they are doing! I have documented my whole experience since pre purchase until now and will be exposing this company with my experience!

We called Mark several years ago with some questions about solar heat for our pool. We instantly liked and trusted him and had the work done. If an issue came up regarding the equipment (which was rare), it was taken care of quickly. That’s so important—the service you receive AFTER the job is done. Since then, Cross Atlantic has installed a solar water heater and we just completed the installation of solar for our whole house. As my title states: Professional, knowledgeable and reliable.

I called this morning to reschedule today’s 4pm appt. I did so and got a confirmation email saying new appt was Thursday (today is Tuesday). Around 1pm I got a text saying Atlantic Solar on way. I immediately called because you guys are in Deerfield and I’m 40 min north. I wanted to make sure no one wasted his time. I explained that and was told it was handled. Thirty min ago one of your guys showed up. He never heard of cancellation. It’s fine … he was very good and I no longer need Thursday’s appt. Luckily I was here. Perhaps the receptionist desk needs work?

Cross Atlantic Solar is an outstanding and professional LG "Gold Dealer" Solar contractor. Mark Langley, Founder & CEO, heads a world-class company and is "hands-on. His team designed and installed 375 W High-Efficiency "LG Neon 2" panels, Enphase IQ7 microinverters, and a Quick Mount PV replacement solar system for us. They matched and bettered several other competitive proposals. Lydia Montaigne, Program Manager, and the following excellent team: Alex, Marcos, Nathan, Andre, Ian, Corey, and Louise. Nathan (electrician) instructed my wife and me to use the Enphase Enlighten App to monitor our new solar system's overall performance and energy production. Absolutely no high-pressure tactics and they filled out all the paperwork for a class action filing, and the whole process took less than a week. Job Well Done! My solar panels were installed, and from that day no one has get in contact with us or responded to our emails. We had the panels for more than 3 weeks and no energy has been produced, FPL has not contact us for the change of the meter, no one answer our text messages. We have not get an answer to finish our services, and we are losing time.

Sean is a great guy, Cross Atlantic is a solid company. They are the only locally based solar company I could find. They are LG certified and do NOT use subcontractors! I highly recommend them.

These guys really set the bar high. The company that installed my panels left me high and dry after the install. The system wasn’t working, the panels were wrong, and I had roof leaks. I was referred to Cross Atlantic Solar by a family friend and from the start I felt comfortable. I called and left a message asking for a quote for repairs, the owner Mark called me within a day to let me know he received the message and that I would be contacted that same day to set an appointment. Sure enough 2 hours later I was called by a technician to set it up. They came out on a Saturday that same week, inspected everything and sent me a quote by the following Wednesday. They found that the parts were covered under warranty and I just had to pay for the labor. Within a month they let me know that the new part had arrived, I was able to get an appointment with them within a week and they came out and did the repairs on a Saturday morning. The technician Wesley, that assisted me was very professional, respectful, and most of all on time. I highly recommend this company and will send anyone asking about solar installations their way.

Sean impressed me with his very professional presentation on solar and his company. What also impressed me was his confidence in his company utilizing no subcontractors, holding multiple certifications, ensuring everyone working at my residence would be ensured, and being a Home Depot service provider. He challenged me to find another solar company who could make these claims and I took him up on that challenge. After talking to another company who didn’t even have the plumbing certificate to do my pool solar and a presentation that was sub par I decided to call Sean and go with CAS. I’m excited that my install will happen before the end of the year. They are bending over backwards to try to make sure I meet the end of year deadline for the tax credit. I can not wait for my finish installed product.

We installed solar to heat our pool and this firm was the most knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The installation was very neat and the work area was kept very clean. The entire installation team was professional and courteous and always had the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. After the installation was completed the gentleman who was in charge, his name was Shane, came back to our home to check everything out and to make sure we knew how to operate out new system! Mrs. S

I had chosen to install solar panels for my home about 8 months back, It was a new experience for me and have not gone though the process before. I must say I could not have been more pleased than I currently am. I really was impressed with my installer Shane he was so experienced and well versed in solar technology I was taken back !! They answered all my questions and also helped me stream line them once they were set up. I was really impressed after they were installed Shane came back to my house 3 different times to help me work out the Kinks that I had with them. I was so so please with Cross Atlantic Solar ! After meeting with three solar panel companies (I always get 3 bids) and doing diligent research, I received a call from Doug at Cross Atlantic Solar. After our conversation I decided to go to their showroom in Deerfield for an in-person meeting. I am so glad that I did. They gave a full and transparent presentation of their products and services. After discussing my energy needs as well as financial considerations they decided to come to my property to do a survey as to what I have and what they can do for me. Mark and his team (Doug, Shane and Jose) spent considerable time and effort to give me the most energy and cost efficient solar system possible. I am completely satisfied with this company and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in solar energy!!

In the spring of 2019 we decided to put our money where my mouth has been since 1992 when purchasing a house in South Florida. For decades I’ve opined, correctly or incorrectly, that the South Florida geographic location provides at least 300 days of sunlight each hear. A benevolent dictator would have received my vote if solar systems had been mandated. We sought out and found Cross Atlantic Solar and could not be happier. I am a statistics/math nerd, so I’ll compose this in a manner I wish I’d had access to during my decision-making in early 2019. My wife and I live in a three-bedroom two-bath house with about 1500 square feet under air conditioning with a 10,000-gallon pool. For the real OCD among you our geographic location is 026o12’ North / 080o07’ West. The fifteen solar panel array, roof-top hot water heater and variable-speed pool pump attached to a 10, 000 gallon salt chlorinator have been in operation since mid-June 2019. The look-back is a full twelve months. From June/July 2018 through May/June 2019 our FP&L bill averaged $166.32; this was prior to our solar array going operational. From June/July 2019 through May/June 2020 our FP&L bill averaged $45.18. So we saved [($166.32 - $45.18) x 12] = $1,453.68, or a monthly average of $121.14. The COVID-19 edicts have prevented me from seeing our 2019 Federal Tax return just yet, but my accountant said we received a Federal Tax Credit of $6,028.00. Our Cross Atlantic Solar out of pocket expense was $22,678.00. So, the first year’s ROI has been $7,733.68 or 32.99%. I’m kicking myself for taking so long to put my money where my mouth had been.

Interviewed four Solar contractors , Cross Atlantic solar. Was the. Most. Qualified solar contractor that had All the State Licenses. and insurances and with there. Best. Price guarantee ...I would. Highly recommend them !!! They out of the four contractors were only one that had Workmans. Comp. Etc...

We chose Cross Atlantic Solar because they were the only company, from the ones that we interviewed, that carried full insurance on their installers and provided us with an “additionally insured” certificate with our name while they were installing our solar panels. We also liked that their installers are company employees and not subcontractors. Their price was competitive and from start to finish it was a smooth process. Our solar system was activated about 2 months ago and our electric bill has already dropped from $250 to $20 a month which we are very happy with. We highly recommend Cross Atlantic Solar to everyone who wants to switch to solar energy.

I researched several companies before I made a decision and chose Cross Atlantic Solar. It wasn't the cheapest price but felt comfortable that they are locally owned and operated and do not use subcontractors and they provided me with a Workers Compensation certificate from there insurance company to ensure that all workers on my property from Cross Atlantic Solar were covered giving my wife and I piece of mind. We couldn't find another company willing to do the same. We also liked the fact that every time we reach out to them they are there. When you call them they always answer. Cross Atlantic Solar, operates Like a good company should. They give as much importance to the follow up as they do to the sale. They will let you know the process, and once you hear the breaks and tax credits, you’ll realize that Solar in South Florida in a money saving investment that you can’t afford not to do. CAS installed our solar panels earlier this spring. I researched 5 companies and picked CAS partly because they had the best residential solar panels on the market, but also because the price was reasonable. They gave me a timeline and stuck to it. Many residential contractors are not easy professional,CAS stands out, they are very professional, courteous and easy to work with. They a good company that stands by their product & commitments. The permitting went smoothly and install very quick, I wish more contractors out there were this good to work with...I highly recommend CAS to anyone thinking about going solar.

My husband and I have waited for a few months to write this review. For starters we are very pleased with the professionalism of the entire staff; what they promised they delivered, on time and perfectly executed. The staff from the CEO to the installers helper were knowledgeable, courteous and extremely pleasant. We highly recommend the company, their staff and their products. We interviewed numerous companies, but Cross Atlantic was the most informative and reasonable. They were efficient and prompt and to a person the nicest, most considerate and animal friendly staff. Inspectors said it was the “cleanest” installation they had seen.

The last step of my proyect was completed (FPL meter) 2 weeks ago called you guys several times and I was told they will call me back and never did. Still waiting for my system to be activate it very disappointing.

I am very happy with my experience with Cross Atlantic Solar. The were professional, kept me informed of progress with the job, were always ready to answer every question, and fully explained what was happening as the job progressed. There were no delays in scheduling the work, other than permitting and the weather, which were of course outside of their control. The work went very smoothly. They listened to my needs and concerns and suggested solutions to design problems I didn't anticipate. I highly recommend the company.

CAS is making the efforts to make my experience better thus far and have offered to add more panels to make my bill low. This review is pending because I have been told that they will schedule me this coming week. I will finalize this review with my complete experience come Monday.

It wasn't easy finding a company that is hands on. I visited 3 companies and Cross Atlantic Solar was the only one that seemed like a real solar company with workers comp. Company trucks, building, design center etc. Check em out. Highly recommend them.

We are 7.5 months in and our system is still not working properly. Oh and of course CAS demands you pay in full or they accuse you of stealing their equipment. So, they have my money, I have equipment that doesn’t work. Run away fast from Cross Atlantic Solar!!

I have used Mark Langley for all of my solar needs for decades. He installed a whole house solar water heater, as well as 2 pool solar heating systems for me. The first pool solar lasted for about 16 years before I had to replace it - the whole house is still in perfect condition after 26 years! They stand behind their work and I have followed Mark to each company he has gone to (now owns this one) as he is a solid, professional man of his word. He takes pride in his business and I am lucky to have found him!
