Westhaven Power's Consistent Positive Work Ethic and Performance

Yesterday and today's interaction and service with Westhaven Power has AGAIN been such a delight! My connection with Westhaven Power began 2 1/2 years ago with the installment of solar panels and batteries. Since then, other devices have also been added. I have trusted Westhaven, because they have their own licensed Solar Installers, Roofers, Electricians, Plumbers, and HVAC persons. Yesterday, Keith C., Chris R., Brian O., Thomas T., and Tyler L., installed two more solar batteries and an electric water heater on my property allowing me to finally become Grid Liberated - with the exception of a small amount of gas heating that I use during winter. Over the past 2 1/2 years of working with Westhaven employees, I have never been disappointed! Yesterday's crew, named above, only confirms what I already know: that Westhaven IS the company that I can totally trust for their positive work ethics, relationships with one another and their clients, their meticulous attention to details, and for their excellent competence and knowledge to deliver that which is asked for. Westhaven is a company that LISTENS and bends over backwards to please its customers and installs only the highest and best quality components with exquisite precision. I am very grateful for Westhaven Power.

We had an amazing experience with Westhaven Power from start to finish! Jarrett and Jason were absolutely fantastic to work with. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire process. Everything went so smoothly, and they made the entire experience of getting our new solar system easy and stress-free. They were great about answering our questions, keeping us informed, and making sure everything was done correctly. Brian, Keith, Tom and David did an outstanding job. They showed up right on time and finished the installation in under 8 hours. They answered all my questions before they started and after they were finished. They even painted the conduit on the side of the house to match the house because I had extra paint and painted the conduit on the roof black. A very professional and efficient group of guys. I highly recommend Westhaven Power.

Westhaven Power in Yuba City is a first-class company to work with! I purchased a solar system with battery backups from this amazing provider and they have been simply terrific on every level. Each person I’ve been in contact with is helpful, courteous and ultra responsive. Their positive attitudes and can-do approach make it easy to get things done. I really enjoy that each team member wants me to have the best service, best products, and best experience with my leap to solar power. And they delivered! I love my solar system. I look at the app on my phone pretty much every day and it’s wonderful to see how the service is working. Definitely rewarding! Those guys who installed my system are dedicated and professional in every regard. The install was perfect—tidy, organized and timely. The office team is fabulous, too. They kept me updated, on track, and in the loop without fail. Believe me, I called a lot. And every question was taken care of. I also enjoyed reading the signed, complementary book, “Grid Liberation,” written by Westhaven’s CEO Brett Joerger! Thank you. Good job explaining the field and benefits! My electric bill is down over $300 a month. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go solar with Westhaven Power. Thanks everyone! P.S. Love Westahaven Power. They installed our solar in 2019 and we've never had a issue. The care and quality of the install was phenomenal and my picky husband couldn't even find an issue. Today we had them come back for a long overdue communication update (our fault for the delay), and Daniel took care of it quickly and was very patient with us explaining the app. Shout out to service manager Tracy as well for explaining options and getting us back on track! Thank you Westhaven!

TYLER, ADAM, BRIAN and BOOTH CREW at Westhaven Solar Company are the Best!!! From start to finish these guys really take care of you. Both Construction Crews who came to our home where AMAZING too. Very nice, knowledgeable, and take the time to answer any questions. To everyone who worked on my HAZEL ST home , thank you you guys did a wonderful job and where very respectful of my old Victorian im am going to tell everyone about you and my experience. If I could give you 20 stars 🌟 I would. We'll done guys .

Faulty systems

This company is not one you wish to do business with. They are liars all the way from the sales guy to the owner. Not a single person I’ve met that has system through them is happy with the quality of it and the service provided by westhaven. The warranty they offer isn’t a warranty. It’s just a meaningless sales tactic to make you feel safe with your purchase because they will not honor it at any cost. Don’t think the contract you signed or the in writing words from the salesperson mean anything. They have and will tell you the same thing, we will not honor it. 3 houses, 3 systems all with issues and every one of them told sure well send someone out at $200 an hour to look into it for you and then $200 an hour to repair. What happened to the warranty on everything for 25 years? Beware and shop around because this is the last thing you want to deal with when spending 40k or more is to get told to kick rocks when something goes wrong.

Great Customer Service

Called for help and informatiin on the Tesla Powerwall system they installed for the previous home owner. Was immediately impressed that not only did they answer their phones, but gave me clear instructions on what we needed to do and followed up with us along the way. Just got off tge phone with Tracy, who was a wealth of information and a huge help. I will be calling them to install Tesla batteries on my other property. They are amazing.

Worst

Do not get involved with this company, there is no management or knowledge of what they are doing. Scheduled a service for our generac 3 weeks out and we’re called the day before they can’t do the service because they’re not certified !!! Looking for a new company that will take care of their customers. Totally worthless and have had issues in the past !! Don’t deal with them!! Only headaches !!

beyond unsatisfied

I came into contract with West Haven two years ago and I still do not have a working system. It has never once worked correctly and still doesn't. The customer service at the office is not helpful at all even downright rude. Even if the system was fully operational, it does not and will not perform the functions it was purchased to do. The time-consuming work and unsafe conditions of construction were appalling. I could not be more disappointed in the company, the service and this product. You would think for almost 100k you would get what you paid for.

Customer Service

We had Westhaven install a solar system in 2019 and its the best decision we ever made! They did an exceptional installation. Since then, we have experienced issues with our Inverter (Solar Edge). Westhaven has done an incredible job of assisting us in resolving our inverter issues. The issues had nothing to do with the installation. They were Solar Edge manufacturing or equipment issues, yet Westhave has stood by their warranty and made sure our issues were resolved. Tracy is a terrific customer service representative and is very professional, polite and does a great job of communicating. It makes us feel good to know that we can count on Westhaven to take care of our solar system. Great job Tracy!!

Want solar? Get a better contractor.

It's been five months and this system still doesn't work. WestHaven does not respond to requests for service. I contracted for a new roof, replacement solar system, and two batteries. the roof was never finished (since September 2021), the solar system produces half what my old system did at this time of year, and the batteries only seem to pull power from PGE. My PGE bills are about twice what they were before WestHaven. The roof is actually pretty nice, but unfinished gutters. The thing is, it was not done by WestHaven as they subbed it out to another company. The did up the price by $4000 after my old roof had been torn off. If you want solar go somewhere else. They are good at rhetoric (when you can get a hold of them), but lousy on service. I repeat...go somewhere else.

Tesla battery is bad

Was sold the Tesla battery for 20,000 pending rebate and it can't even back up the house for more than 1 minute on a power outage would have done better with a generator

The most professional Team !

Tim Root was my sales person,and was the most professional. Very patient explained all factors of my project from start to finish. Installation was done by Bud,Bryan,Marty who were efficient,courteous,and very polite,Great Job Men !! My inspection of my project was done the following day and even the City of Fortuna had excellent words to say of Westhaven Solar. I should be connected to PG&E this week and off I go. I’m so happy I choose Westhaven Solar. Thanks Westhaven

Do not use Westhaven financing!

The install went without a problem, on time and works well. But DO NOT use Westhaven's financing, especially All In Credit Union. Stupid me, I didn't read the small print. Even though I put 5k down on this project, they put a lean on my home. Be ware!

So Thrilled!

I can't say enough about Westhaven solar! From my sales person to the office staff and install team, they were all so great. One of my neighbors referred me to them, and I'm so happy with my new solar system. My system was installed in about a month and my PG&E bills are now only a few dollars. Definitely one of the best decisions I've made.
