I could not be more pleased with the services I received from Solar Rising. From start to finish they were very well organized, efficient, friendly with excellent communication. Real professionals with integrity, not so common these days. I appreciated that they came out to the house and did a thorough evaluation, advised the best number of panels and answered questions. It was a pleasure working with Solar Rising. Their staff is knowledgeable,professional and friendly. They answered all of our questions promptly and fully. Once we agreed to have them do the installation ( solar panels and house battery) they worked with the electric company to get all the paperwork in place for the installation to begin. Their installation crew was great. They worked very cleanly and had the solar array wired and up in just a few days. They walked us through getting the battery up and running in person and answered all of our follow up questions. Lastly, they made sure we has everything we needed for the tax incentives etc. A top notch operation from start to finish. I really enjoyed the professionalism and knowledge of everyone I spoke to or met at this company. They answered all questions quickly and the installation process was very smooth. All the field staff work for the company...they do not sub out any work to other electricians, or installers. This way they show up and get the job done when they say they will and at the contracted price.

Began process with a national solar provider but opted for 2nd opinion from a local provider in belief I would get more personal attention. Solar Rising reached out to me with a detailed easy to read report on what I could expect for performance and tax incentives. Found this very informative and helpful. I felt very comfortable dealing with staff of Solar Rising, no high pressure sales pitch. Due to Covid-19 issues process was delayed somewhat but installation crew did show up with ample notification. Very impressed with installation crew. The were all very professional, serious, and sincere. Nobody was blowing smoke at me. Everybody seemed like family. The process began in February and I started generating solar power June 28. During this whole time Solar Rising was very responsive to all my concerns. Solar Rising did pretty much all the work regarding application paper work. When I accepted their quote, they performed the installation on a tight schedule so I could hit a year-end deadline for maximizing the federal deduction. The staff at Solar Rising was very responsive and helpful from the bidding process through installation. Their estimate was full of useful information and easy to understand, not to mention very competitive with other local installers. They took care of all of the paperwork for permits and SRECs. The guys who came to install the panels did a very professional job, both on the roof, and in the house, where they took care to not scuff up any of the interior surfaces. I had a 5.69 kW system installed with Sunpower panels. I couldn't be happier with the performance of these panels, and the SRECs I've generated with them. I would highly recommend Solar Rising for your solar energy needs.

We researched 8 companies when looking to install solar panels, everything from which panels to buy, down to if we had to cut down trees, to cost, effectiveness etc. Solar Rising came in with the best of everything that we wanted, at the lowest costs. The helped us get into the SREC program, helped us with the state and federal incentives, and referred us to the lowest interest loan companies. They arrived on time, and the installation only took several hours. Within a day, the squirrels were trying to build nests under the panels, and they came out immediately and installed squirrel guards. They answered every and all questions! The only things that took too long were the changeover from Eversource, and waiting for the town inspectors to show up and give their seal of approval. LOOK NO FURTHER PEOPLE, go with Solar Rising, you will not be disappointed. Since installation, we only get 1 small electric bill once a year (around Christmas), and the payback from the SREC trade is wonderful, money in the bank!!

Solar Rising installed an 8.64 kWh system with battery back September 2017. Over the winter we had seamless energy during the many power outages that allowed us to maintain heat, refrigerator, and wifi. We were comfortable through all of it. The folks at Solar Rising were wonderful to work with. It is important to have folks who not only know the system that you want, but what the industry is doing, how the government programs work, etc. Solar Rising had it all. I've been geeking about in the world of solar for 30 years and they were simply great about working with me and my ideas. They also knew how to move the financing and kept us moving forward. And everyone is so nice. They really have it down and are the full package you want installing your system

7.68 kW system in 3 arrays on 3 different roof planes. Bid price was 3rd lowest of 7 bids received, but the Company provided premium panels and accommodated the addition of a circuit, with a 60-foot run from the main panel, for a EV charger. The company made an on-site inspection prior to my acceptance of their bid. This resulted in zero change orders and no surprises during the installation. After their bid was accepted, the schedule of permitting and work proceeded as stated by the Company. The Company provided a strong labor and materials warranty. Since I had done some research, the Company accommodated my preferences without compromising, based on their experience, their recommendations on the design and equipment specifications. The workers that arrived on site were polite, deliberate, efficient, and neat. Installation took a day and a half. It is quality workmanship with all electrical conduit being able to be run internally. Besides being locally owned and operated, the team of people I have interacted with are very professional and responsive to all my questions and concerns.

From beginning to end the entire staff was professional and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our very first electric bill after the installation was zero. We are very happy with the SunPower panels we chose. They are attractive and functioning perfectly.

Solar Rising was the first company to give me an estimate for a complete solar system. I chose them for their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. Everyone, especially Angela and Neal, were always willing to answer questions and helped with every step of the process. From our first meeting to complete installation took only a few months and now the system is generating power. I'd recommend Solar Rising without reserve.

The system was installed almost within one day. Very professional, quiet, nice, reliable. Did not cost any more than they said it would. We got 1/3 of the cost back from the federal government, and we are basically driving to and from work without using any gas, since we bought plug-in cars. We are very happy with our solar panels, which we expect to have paid off in twelve to fifteen years. We spent $44,000 upfront, but will get $13,000 back in federal government rebates in our 2016 taxes. There are other state rebates, as well. We wanted (pretty extensive) solar panels because we had had them in our previous residence before we moved here to Cape Cod, and noted vast energy savings then. We got a total of 40 panels, 12.6 kWatts, installed on our present house here in Marstons Mills. They put most on the main house, and some on the garage. Solar Rising also helped us register for the Mass Net Metering.

They were great! From the initial consult to the finished product. All stages were explained and they completed all the paperwork from applying for discounted loans, SREC credits, and utility documents. Professional all the way. We spent almost a year researching PV systems and installation companies and after interviewing 9 different companies we decided that Solar Rising was the best fit for us. They were willing to listen to what we wanted (not many companies did) and spend a lot of time on the phone, via email and on site to finalize our system design. When we decided to go Solar I wanted to make sure we were getting the best bang for our buck. We initially had received a quote from one of the national companies. We had to sign a contract before they even came in to give us an estimate. When we told them that we wanted to buy and not rent the price seemed to go up even higher. That is when we contacted Solar Rising. Not only were they $5,000+ cheaper than the quote we received from the national company, they were local. When we told them that we wanted the most efficient panels they were more than willing to oblige. Their estimated proposal of 5.58 kW (18 panels with an estimated production of 5,348kwh/year)) was exceeded with a total of over 6kW for 2016. We also earned 6 SREC's averaging about $250 an SREC. I cannot say enough positives about my whole experience with Angela and the rest of the Solar Rising staff. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and neighbors.
