My great experience with envirolsolar customer service

Customer service representative Deja Simpson helped me all the way through my experience and Setup with Envirosolar and she also still checks on me and how my system works and to make sure everything is doing okay and make sure I don't have any problems or questions! No matter how many times I got mad or frustrated she stayed with me through the process and if I hung up or we got disconnected she always called me back she was and is an awesome customer service representive and I love having her as mine and she is always there to help. She has made and continues to make my experience with Envirosolar a great experience!

Envirosolar outstanding service

We have been interested in solar power since moving here a year ago, so we set an appointment for more information with Envirosolar. Neal Oyler did a fine job of introducing us to solar and making it possible for us to make the investment. Naturally, we were very anxious at the start of this endeavour, as this is a large investment and we remained somewhat sceptical of the end result. The visual appeal of our house is paramount, and we hadn't seen a schematic of the layout plan prior to the install date. As scheduled, Matt and his crew arrived promptly on June 22. He introduced himself and the company and reviewed the installation plan with us in detail, even explaining how the panels would be laid out and power connected. By the end of his explanation, we were very confident in our purchase and the plan for the install. The end result is quite visually appealing and Matt's vision for the install works perfectly. He kept us informed every step of the way, making us feel extremely confident with the entire process. We can honestly say we are very happy BECAUSE of the customer service we received from Matt. Matt's ability to provide cohesive leadership to his crew while ensuring customer confidence is a huge plus for Envirosolar. Matt is a great asset and we highly recommend his skills in design and customer service. Nikii Cauley makes every effort to keep us in the loop with the connection to the power company. All in all, we are very happy with the process and are eager to see the power savings!

Lousy Service

We got our panels installed in March 2017 with the promise that they would monitor our system and if there was a problem they would be out to repair it. Well, in June our system had stopped working completely. They did not notify us of the problem. I caught the system failure myself. Called Envirsolar for a repairman to come out. No response. Called them 2 or 3 times a day. No response. Filed a complaint with BBB. Two dilator tehy

Solar Ann

Ann bent over backwards to get the project started and completed. She was on call when she was home and always called back. When the system was installed she still worked with me on any questions or problems I had. She was curious and professional. She worked with my utility company and verified installation to get the system on line. Has helped with reimbursement check. Has been a great help.

Poor company to deal with

Initial dealings with Envirosolar were fine. After sale service is nonexistent! Repeated attempts to contact the company with warranty issues have gone unanswered. This company is a BIG RISK! Do not deal with Envirosolar located in Houston, Texas. The local company (Harvest Solar) who installed the system has been outstanding and has provided the support badly needed to keep the system operating.

Finance

My representative , Ryan Gonzalez was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained the process from start to finish being very detailed every step of the way. We were very comfortable and sure on making the decision on choosing Envirosolar as our provider.

Luna household

A lot of hurry up and wait. Have been sitting here for almost a month and just waiting. Customer support person is only contact I received every week, but no updated information. When doing follow up paperwork for interconnection and buy back, left in the dark on what to do or whom to call.

Nikki Cauley is my rep. She stays up with what’s going on. I was said I would get a rebate check for being a $1000.00 for being a Veteran and for 5 referrals, Didn’t Happen.

Solar Panel Install

Once we were referred to a second installer, the process went quickly. But it did take from signing up in November 2017 to install in June 2018. Don't know what the initial holdup was, but we're now awaiting final inspection and the 'turning on' of our system.

Solar installation customer service

Ann has done a good job of keeping me informed about the progress of my solar installation. Sometimes these things take longer than expected, and she has been helpful in providing the information I need.

Retired

Had panels installed in early 2018. Activated on 6/1/18. Apparently functioning properly but too soon to give recommendation. Still awaiting refund for assumed trenching and wiring that wasn't required.

My thoughts

Does the system work! Have I seen a reduction in electric bill? Not sure yet. Will not know until I can compare year prior to this year with solar. Does it seem to help with bill? Yes. Bills seem to be less than other years but no hard proof yet. No cost up front was nice, but made for a large bill to pay monthly. Was told panels will offset my electric bills by like 60% meaning if I was used to spending 180 a month for electricity about 100 would be offset by solar production. I haven’t seen that. Bills are still over 100$. Never dropped off led bulbs like they offered. Certain installation services were subpar such as solar barrier inside the attic. Was told that all we would see is silver but that isn’t the case. It does seem to help though. Not a bad company but maybe not the best either. Nikii Cauley has been very good about calling and asking if everything is good but once she passes information off to get something done, it has been a black hole. Do your research and get estimates for everything before choosing an installer.

Promise not honored

Their sales rep promised us financing with a deferred (16%) interest loan that he would personally help us refinance before any interest kicked in, resulting in a 0% interest pay-out. Toward the end of the deferral period, he was NO help and we had to find our own (10%) replacement loan. Our payments went from about $500 to over $950 and we will end up paying over $18,000 in interest that makes the investment NOT WORTH IT, compared to savings on our electric charges.

Takes long

Feb 28- Signed the documents to install the solar panels. It is May 29th the solar panels have been installed but still waiting for them to be turned on.... They came to inspect the panels but they didn't pass the 1st inspection. Ann Turner,Quality Assurance Analyst, has been amazing in responding to my calls and e-mails. I am able to email her anytime I have a question on the progress report throughout this process since my solar consultant no longer works for the company. Ms. Turner has been a vital part in keeping me updated and informed. She states tomorrow is my final inspection and contingent upon passing inspection my system should be turned on. Looking forward to the solar panels working & finally paying less on my energy bill!

After installation of the solar panels I had a lot of question and that is where Andrecia (Ann) Turner, Quality Assurance Analyst, has been so very helpful. She has returned emails, returned calls, and found answers to every question I have asked. I give Ann 5 stars for her positive attitude and ability to resolve my issues in a timely manner.
