Stay far away from this company!!

This has to be the worse solar company EVER!! I was lied to regarding my solar project. I was told that I would get two months free of solar and that is not the case. I have had my panels on for a few months now and am still paying for summer electricity bill and my payments for the panels. I had called a number of times and no one is calling me back. I was told that my solar was on over a month ago and I still don't see any difference in my bill. Additionally, I was also told by two different people that if there was ever anything wrong with the panels then a technician would be notified through an app on the panels and I wouldn't have to call in for repairs. Well come to find out I have to monitor my panels myself and then call in to set up an appointment. I many other issues but to many to state here. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY! It's a scam!! Save your money and go anywhere else!! It won't let me choose zero stars, so one has to be it.

SCAMMERS!!! RED OF LIARS!!!!!!

This guy came to my house saying he worked for ESP BUT This people are liars don’t believe them. I happen to to tell you this from experience when we first met saying he needed to see my electricity bill to know what was our average electricity usage and to also check what were our monthly payments then he said that we are legible for a better deal with these solar panels promised us replacement of windows and three months of free service though as soon as the installment people came they drilled some stuff for the panels and when drilling made holes through the other side and inside of our house which is our dining area now we have 5 TIMES higher of Edison bill and still have to pay monthly payments for solar panels RED OF LIES

Very disatified. nothing went as they had told me.

My system was supposed to be installed 30 days after I signed the contract, it was 3 months late. If you read there web site, they give you an unrealistic time frame. 1. if you need a city permit it takes 30 days, Edison is automatic30 days. I helped with getting the city permit and they installed the system before they even got permits. Also before signing the contract I was told repeadly that I would get a 7800.00 rebate from the federal Gov. and that was a lie.They kept telling me about me getting the 7800.00 dollars when I filed my income tax and when I got the 7800.00 I could give it to loanpal and my payment would remain the same until paid for. Now I did my taxes and I don't get the 7800.00 because I didn't pay enough in federal taxes. So now my payment for the solar system is going to go up to the amount I was paying Edison company. So they lied to me through the entire process. So now I'm 28000.00 in debt for nothing. Also when I confronted them they told me that I would only get the 7800.00 if I qualified for it. The problem with that is , qualifing was NEVER mentioned throughout this entire process. It was mentioned until I called and complained about it, Then I was told. Lies after lies. Beware they will tell you whatever it takes to sell you a system. I would never deal with this company again.

Terrible experience with ESP and Simple Sola

They are horrible and clueless. Their subs have little knowledge as well. We have been in this coming up to 8 months. They are partners with Simple Solar. Moe Falah(sales) and Brad( customer service ESP) have no remedy to their companies issues(service, customer service, working with SCE, subs, claims of damage warranties, etc.. After 7+ months, still no solar. Have made 3 payments to both Solar and SCE. Repaired gutters at $1200. They do take responsibility with no remedies. Their work and sales associates are sub standard. It really has been a horrible experience with Simple Solar and ESP. They said 3 to 4 more weeks. Stay away from these companies Simple Solar and ESP. They assigned me someone to deal with me. I see it as passing the buck and appeasement, with no intention of making In the mean time I will continue to make double payments. They have offered to reimburse me, which unfortunately fall ways short of what I have gone through,

DO NOT USE THIS ENERGY SERVICE PARTNERS (ESP) UNLESS YOU like being blown off and your home dis-respected. Their crew showed up in the morning asked for access to the interior breaker panel then left my entry door wide open and left for 3hrs. only to return and sit in front of my house for another what seemed like an hour, then asked to use the bathroom in which the crew member stunk it up ALL TO BE DAMNED!!!!! Not only an agregious customer service no-no but didn't even have the decency(home training) to apologize or excuse himself. As with some of the other comments you can see the company their "install" process is a NIGHTMARE! You can not trust them to do what they say they will when they say they will doi it. They hasd to bringr a crewleader from Henderson to correct the errors by the CA crew SMH- and this was only after I had to take time out to make several calls to finally get someone to make something happen including a call to PACE here in CA. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ONSITE WORK. If there was a negative Star rating I would have used as many as possible. Very Dissatisfied Overall.

RUN AWAY! DO NOT USE ESP UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY AND TIME TO BURN

BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS ENERGY SERVICE PARTNERS (ESP) UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY AND TIME TO BURN AND ARE A GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT. You may eventually get a working product but you will go through a LONG, HELLISH PROCESS to get there. We signed our contract in October 2019, paid in full in February and are not 100% complete in October 2020, and that is with persistent follow ups. Definitely STEER CLEAR IF YOU LIVE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA because they do not have expert staff up here. You will have to wait an extra long time for technical service. If you do use this company, MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACT SAYS THAT THEY WILL PROVIDE DOCUMENTED PROOF OF EVERY COMPONENT FOR A FULLY OPERATIONAL INSTALLATION BEFORE YOU PAY. We naively trusted them and it turned out that their "install" was far from fully functioning, both on the solar panels and battery backup. You can not trust anything they say but need to get digital readouts that show that all panels fully power up and that there are accurate production/consumption readings in the monitoring portal. If you get a battery, also get proof that it charges, discharges, and that all outlets you designate for emergency battery power are working when the power is shut off. IF YOU TAKE THEIR WORD FOR ANY OF THIS WITHOUT PROOF YOU WILL BE SORRY. AVOID GETTING A BATTERY BACKUP FROM THIS COMPANY for your solar array. They lack battery installation and troubleshooting experience, and they will blame the battery like there is no tomorrow if you have problems with your system. One of their more "expert" staff didn't even know you could get a battery readout on the inverter display. And ESP executive management and their lawyer also said the battery was the problem, even though we had to work through many solar failures to even be able to find out there were battery issues. The same manager at one point also said said there was "just a monitoring issue" and I had to take the time to take screenshots and show him that the system was not functioning properly (yes, you will have to do their work). TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ONSITE WORK. First, they failed to put the battery on the permit application which delayed our project from the start. We had to follow up every step of the way because they often do not reply to voicemails or emails, and even when they do they often will not follow through. I was also flat out lied to by the warranty rep that said our battery was working when I had proof it was not. Numerous times service staff came out unprepared, either without proper support staff, equipment or both to fully fix the problems. Twice they left while the system was still rebooting, leaving us to have to review the system and provide evidence that things still were not working. I am only telling you a small fraction of our saga here. Almost a year since signing the contract, ESP has yet to get our battery connected to the all of the requested outlets for emergency power.

Look Elsewhere For Solar

If you're looking for solar, I advise you go in a different direction. They installed panels on my home 2 months ago and the system still isn't operational. They never call with any updates, you have to initiate all contact yourself. Even then, you won't ever talk to anyone who can tell you what's going on. They all say "we'll put in a note to the project manager." I've never spoken to this mysterious project manager. I've been waiting on a "special" circuit breaker this entire time that's apparently coming from the far away land of Nevada. Now, after 2 months, I called again today and they have the circuit breaker but can't get an electrician out to me anytime soon. Meanwhile, the loan for the solar panels still sending the bill so I'll be paying a solar bill and a electric bill until the project is actually finished. It's almost as if they installed my panels knowing they wouldn't finish the job, in order to secure payment. Overall, this company lacks professionalism and transparency. They're also extremely rude. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy solar through them.
