Panel switch and after sales support is poor
Communication seemed to be good until they showed up with a different panel than what I ordered. Tried substituting without even telling me. I refused delivery and they had to reschedule with the proper panel. Electrical connections to my main panel required moving several breakers. One set that was moved to the top of my panel was modified and the breaker was not fully set and I started having dimming lights in two bedrooms. When I investigated, the breaker was arcing to the power blade. I had to replace the breaker and move it to a new position. that breaker slot is no longer usable. System performance has been good for 3 years. In July, I noticed that one of the panels was only producing 80% power since the middle of June. On August 6th I submitted a warranty service request. ESP responded the next day that a Technician visit would be scheduled. SIX WEEKS later, still no visit!! AFTER SALE support POOR!

Took 4 months, not 2
Communication was lacking. I had to keep following up. The process took twice as long as I was quoted. Missed the whole summer. Had to call SDG&E after final inspection to find out if I was hooked up. I wasn't. Had to contact ESP to get switched to solar. Broken tiles still have not been replaced.

I was not able to use the solar due to inspection and I was having to pay for my solar bill and PG&E bill without any solar being used. Also kept getting emails and phone calls regarding inspection time and date when inspection was already complete, and unable to contact someone regarding that. Hopefully I have no issues with the solar when I’m able to finally use it.

Lack of communication
I am happy with installation time; however, not happy with the poor communication of company. First they did not go by the Blue Prints for laying out the electrical; line. It was corrected but had to call company multiple times. 2nd I was informed that when the inspector came out he would down load an app to my cell phone so I could track my energy. That is not true. Found out by the rep that they should have supplied me with a flyer or book to show me, which I did not receive
