I am happy with the solar system install on my roof. Mark and his crew did a good job making sure it was done right the first time. The service was upgraded to 200 amp. System went online after new meter change, no problems. I have a tree by my driveway that was a issue for the truck to navigate into my driveway. Thanks, for a job well done.

From the very beginning of the project, working with Kevin, then Jordan and his project team, and finally Nate and his installation crew, the entire experience has been outstanding. Kevin took the time to clearly explain all available options and patiently answered the many questions my wife and I had—especially since this was a capital expense for us. I went ahead and accepted a proposal with Solar by CIR because they seemed to be well reviewed and well priced and they ensured me that their experience in the electrical contracting business would serve well for the solar project. A service upgrade to 200 amps was one of major concerns and they convinced me they could do it and for better pricing than some competing quotes could. Plus, we're from Grand Island, a couple of streets away from their current office so we're basically "neighbors." My family signed in early March '25, with an expected install date of late May. Sounds good so far. I then would periodically check in with the sales rep, Kevin, who assured me that everything was on track. Asked me to get financing ready, everything seemed smooth. A week before the expected install, I check in. The permit hasn't even been filed yet. Almost 3 months and seemingly my project is on the back burner. But I understand delays happen so I went along with it, confirmed it would be a few more weeks to get it installed. I can be patient. Then, June 10, about 100 days since we've signed, the sales rep calls me. To complete the 200 amp upgrade, they will need to dig. To dig and for equipment, they will need to add 5-6k (couldn't even give me the courtesy for an exact figure), to be added on to the project. Now, I understand things come up but 3 months later? From a company banking on "we have so much electrical contracting experience" that's a big thing to miss in the initial visits. Alright, I've done a lot of work myself getting this going. Maybe we can come to some agreement. What I was offered was a larger 100 amp panel and $500 off. The initial project has $3000 added for the upgrade. Okay. Maybe we can come to some compromise on the new costs. Offer to pay for even half and I can look into coming up with the other half. Not an option. The project planner apparently, won't budge. "Jordan was unwilling to budge on this due to how busy we are with the Federal tax credit potentially ending" is what the rep told me. Seemingly, my project was a low priority for you. You've got other clients. At this point, we ended our contract as well. After posting a similar review elsewhere, I was then contacted in a panic by the rep who said the company was willing to work things out 50/50 in exchange of removing my review. They end up somehow getting that review removed regardless. All those things about being neighbors and being experienced never panned out for me. It's really a shame too that I bought into it.

They are very professional, lots of communications throughout the process with timely followups to our questions. Sales process was helpful and educational without being high pressure. Pricing was reasonable and very competitive with other quotes I obtained.

Cory's crew installed an array for us at the end of September. The crew was very respectful and courteous and did an absolutely great job, couldnt be happier. The system passed inspection without any issues and I would recommend the company to anyone interested!

From start to finish it was a really simple process to get solar installed. Called them for a quote and they gave a no BS quote without a sale pitch or pressuring which is the main issue I have avoided a solar quote. I hate sales pitches. The rep answered all questions I had and gave any materials I requested to look up and do my own research. I ended up wanting to move forward with the project and they handled everything from talking with my electric supplier to building permits to the final inspection. I did not have to do much of anything. As for the install it took 2 days and they were respectful, clean and neat. The only sign that they were even in the basement was a piece or wiring stripping that went under a cabinet I found when cleaning later. Absolutely remarkable craftsmanship from painting the panel mounting board to match my old one to making the piping symmetrical and neat. I am more than impressed with the work they did. The workmanship is what I am most impressed about as that is a level of detail not often seen by electricians. They centered the panels, centered the pipes, caulking was precise and I can go on and on. Pros: No Sales pitch, easy process, craftsmanship Cons: None as of yet

Three years ago my wife and I built our house and dealing with contractors was an absolute nightmare. So we've always been a little gun shy with contractors working around the house. I just wanted to give a a huge kudos to all the folks at Solar by Cir. I have to say the crew was an absolute pleasure to work with. The cost was in the same ball park as the rest but just being able to talk to people during the week or even on the weekend with questions was a breath of fresh air. Installers showed up on time and walked me through everything. They were extremely patient with all of my questions. I've even referred a bunch of my friends/family. CIR solar did installed a 10.65 solar system on my new house. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient including both the installers and the office personnel. The quality of the work, documentation and follow through was excellent.

This is my second property that I have put solar panels on. The first was in 2014, and was the Kyocera 260kw panels. They were a good company but obtaining the property next door I went with CIR and not only are they using a higher quality panel but the install was much cleaner. CIR also was very good with responding to any issues I had with getting the system operational. I am now ordering 25 more panels to double my solar production.

The installers were a very nice bunch. They even came back while the electrical inspection was being done to make sure all went well. I love that my electric bill is under $18.00 a month, even in the summer with a/c.

We had a couple companies come to give us an estimate for solar installation on our pole barn. CIR was very professional, thorough, attentive not only during installation but continues years later. We are happy with our decision and continue to make more energy than we need for our home and to take advantage of the incentives and tax savings. Highly recommend!

Approximately 40 days ago it was noted that one of my inverters was not functioning and therefore half of my system is out of service. They ordered a new one and when they went to install it, they were missing a bracket. To this date, the bracket has not come in and my system is still down. My advise is to get a reliability guarantee because without it, the only one that get's damaged is the customer. CIR is taking their sweet time to fix it and based on my over 30 years experience in the power industry, this lackadasical approach to keeping systems operating wouldn't fly.

I honestly couldn't be happier since the installation of our solar setup. My electric bill over the summer was $17, the tax breaks I got back were real, and my payment for the long term financing are comparable to my normal electric bill. There's really no down side and once I fully own the system I'm making money off of it.

We had our solar panels installed in Nov/Dec by CIR. The crew that did all the work was fantastic every step of the way. Pleasant, professional and very good at what they do from beginning to end. I waited a little while to see how everything performed when there was really some sun. Excellent!!

They were recommended to my by a friend that had an install by them. The salesman came out the 1st time with a folder and prices of how it would work. It does take a while for everything to happen because of all the parties involved, State, Electric Co, Building Dept and Inspections, but he didn't say it would happen overnight. When it was all done, the Given install date was very close to the originally proposed time, (Weather was a factor because of Winter Install and I also would rather have them show up a couple days off than not finish the job that they were coming from). All went well, they were professional, did the work quicker than I expected and cleaned up great. When all was done, the original cost was right on from what I was told. Thanks so much CIR!!!

They are a good company

We had our system installed by a company no longer in business. Solar by CIR took us on for some warranty work and it could not have gone better! We look forward to a long term relationship with them for the future. We're sorry we didn't originally have them involved for the installation but are thrilled with their service and support.

Great to work with, from Kevin upfront with the sales presentation, to Jordan managing the project, to the guys on site installing. No issues at all during install other than a few things the inspector wanted which CIR came out right away to address. Financing options were explained well and working with their lender was easy. All-around a great experience with CIR.

We got 3 proposals and theirs was the lowest but included everything we needed. There are many companies in our area installing solar systems. Our job took longer to start because we had to replace a 20 year old roof before scheduling the solar installation. They installed a system on a friends’ home a year ago and they were happy with the entire process from selection to installation. Their website provides information on solar which you need to educate yourself on. All of their staff are identified there also.

Worked with Darin after seeing his presentation at the University at Buffalo. He came and did a solar assessment and reviewed the household electrical usage. We have 2 Chevy Volts, use a lot of air conditioning and have a pool with a heat pump to heat it, therefore our electrical usage was a lot. Darin presented the proposed layout and cost, determined when the break even point of the project was and was very easy to work with and made sure we understood everything. Just and his crew came to install the panels and discovered there was an issue with the roof (not a CIR issue) and we had to have that repaired before installation could happen. After we made the necessary repairs, Justin and his crew came back with a few days and then the panels were pretty much set! Jessica was very easy to work with in the office coordinating things. We let her know when the roof work was anticipated to be done and she made sure to have the crew there installing there shortly after. Overall the process was very easy and everybody from the CIR team was great. We have had the panels now turned on for 3 days and I cannot stop watching the energy we are producing. I would highly recommend CIR for solar electrical installation.

Very happy with the process start to finish, panel placement options, payback period, factoring tax rebates etc. Workers were very accommodating, they had to dig a trench for the electrical line (vs. using a ditch witch) so to not damage my wife's flower garden. The project coordinator and solar specialist did a great job keeping me informed on the schedule.

CIR was excellent to work with from start to finish. The sales coordinator was knowledgeable, worked with our layout and space issues patently. The office accommodated numerous glitches in preparing the site for installation and through all the cancellations were always pleasant and easy to work with. Once installed Jessica R. in the office was able to handle many follow up issues with financing, tax rebate paperwork, and anything we needed. We were don't with the installation and payment yet she answered every inquiry in 12 hours and to our satisfaction. It is difficult to find good service these days and I feel they are outstanding. especially when they could have put us off when were paid and done . Highly recommend.

I have been looking at going solar for a while. After checking with a friend who installs solar, he gave me a price. Solar by CIR beat that price by thousands. Kevin was informative, helpful, and never pushy. I asked many questions and he was knowledgeable and truthful. Kevin also stopped at my house 2 times during installation to make sure I was happy with how things were going. The installers were timely, worked hard, and did a great job. The panels look great on my house. Jessica was helpful in setting everything up for my installation and designing my system. I have 27 panels and they look great on my home. All paperwork went smoothly and when I had a question or concern, she had an answer for me. Overall she was wonderful to work with too. The system they use through solar edge is really pretty awesome. I have an app on my phone where I can see production from each panel. It also shows charts of monthly, and yearly data as well. I also enjoy looking at how much carbon I have saved from going into the atmosphere and it gives you the amount of trees it would be equivalent to planting. (It also tells you how much money you saved too). I also had a level 2 electric car charger installed during the installation of my solar panels. The charger is awesome and I would recommend them to anyone looking for this service as well! Great Job! Thanks!

We were directed to CIR through an Amherst-wide effort to get people to install solar on their houses. We weren't planning on getting solar immediately since our roof was going to need be replaced soon, but they made a very compelling offer, price-wise. They worked with us, scheduling around the roofers, and the whole process from initial assessment to installation went smoothly. A great experience overall.

Every step of the process of installing our solar panels was made easy and efficient by CIR Electrical. The actual installation took just a day and a half of work, and was done very efficiently and securely. The paperwork went just as smoothly, and CIR answered my several technical questions more than satisfactorily. Overall, we were extremely satisfied, and have no hesitation in recommending CIR for any solar installation.

CIR was a great company to work with. I especially liked that they sought out all permits and I did a minimum of paperwork. CIR did a great job getting us the maximum allowable NYSERDA benefits, and explaining all incentives and tax rebates we are due to receive, and when. I asked about a million questions during the whole process and every question was answered patiently. I was very particular where our ground-mount install took place on our property, and where the power trench was dug. I found CIR extremely accommodating. I highly recommend CIR to install your solar array... they're a great group of people.

We caught the Solarize Orleans County camaign. The installation of our 30-panel, 9.3 KW system was finished last Thursday, and our Solar is up and running. Every step of the process was great, starting with Kevin Wagner, who was our sales rep. Kevin was very knowledgeable of Solar and was back to us quickly with price on the system and all info regarding it. Next was site evaluation by Kenny Hoage who was very thorough and accomodating when it came to our needs for trenching due to location of solar panels bring on our 30x40 detached garage in the back yard. Jessica Ralabate in the home office was also a key player in relaying info regarding my install. My original scheduled install date was moved up, which was fine with us. Last but certainly not least was the install crew! The install crew I had here was made up of: Mike, Dave, and three (3) Justins. That's right, 3 Justin's on one crew! Justin Kubiak did an outstanding job with his electrical expertise and his precise conduit pipe bending. All of the installers were both professional and courteous. They all seemed to know what they were doing. It was a pleasure to have this crew at our home. On Day 2, I went and got donuts for the crew; and on Day 3 of the install, I bought lunch for the crew to show my appreciation for all they did, and the manner they did it. Very happy with every aspect of my Solar Install by CIR Electric, and I highly recommend them.

From the first visit by sales rep Kevin to the completed project and support from the office Jessica, our experience was great and we are very pleased. Kevin was very knowledgeable ,professional and helpful . The process was exactly as he had explained and the install was flawless and on time. Jessica has been a great help in walking me thru understanding the monitoring and read outs on the inverter. Thanks for all your patience with us as we learned. The finance was simple and CIR would walk you thru each step. We did some price shopping with two other solar companies and they could not come close to the prices and quoted us a lesser grade of equipment. I would highly recommend CIR for anyone considering going solar.

We were very happy with the entire process through completion.

Our experience with CIR was fantastic. From the consultant to the installers. Quick installation (only 2 1/2 days!) and very neat work. Everything was thoroughly explained and when we had questions emails and phone calls were responded to promptly. We can track our system through a website and an app on our phones that shows real time production of each panel, the whole system and many other graphs and charts that provide interesting statistics. It also helps in the event of a problem with a particular panel, allowing us to pinpoint exactly which panel is not working properly. We will be using our solar to power our urban farm in Buffalo, NY, along with our home. CIR was kind enough to take into account the consumption estimate for infrastructure not yet in place on the farm side and size appropriately.
