Installation team was very professional, timely and did great job. I am still waiting for national grid to replace meter to get every started. I am glad that I did choose venture solar

Solar Panel Installation experience

The installation of solar panels were something my wife and I were exploring for a while. By chance I encountered someone who asked if I wanted to hear about solar panels- and it was someone from Venture Solar. Arturo Bustamante sat with us and the presentation answered all of our questions. The installation took longer than expected due to our township's delay in giving us the permits. Once the permits came, Venture Solar installed everything in one day. The system is fully operational right now and we couldn't be happier. My phone calls have been answered promptly and thoroughly. We are more than pleased with our experience with Venture Solar. We will, and we have, recommended to other homeowners and, in fact, one family already signed up within one week of our installation.

Solar Installation

Our experience with Venture Solar was excellent. Ross, our salesperson, Nick, who supervised out installation and Paul, who explained how to use the app in our phones were all easy to work with and very clear and professional.

If you're going solar, highly recommend Venture Solar. Everyone from Venture Solar were on point. You would not get a better company period. From the start to installation in a snow storm was above and unimaginable performance with everyone in the company. Thank you

Very detailed, fast installation and great follow up

This is an amendment to my previous review back in May 2022. Installation of the panels happened almost promptly. They also got the ball rolling on permits with the city immediately as well. If things don’t go as planned in any particular issue especially with approvals by the city, there can be extended delays on VS side until you’re able to get a hold of a higher echelon in the company who can move your project forward. At that point things started moving quickly as they did at the onset. The monitoring service and bank (Sunnova) won’t actually stay on top of non-error issues, but either your contact at VS or making a case with Sunnova will help get that investigated and corrected.

From the initial consultation to the final installation and turn on of the system, the entire process was smooth and efficient. The various departments were always in communication with me, explaining the next steps in the process and more importantly contacted me to follow up or provide any necessary feedback. The App and referral program is also great - allows you to spread the importance of solar and refer other clients. HIGHLY recommended

Great Experience

The entire process from sales, site assessment and installation has been very easy and transparent. Venture Solar understands the local building codes and provides an honest assessment regarding the correct size of the system and does not over promise regarding the size of the system. Everyone from sales, project manager and installer were super professional, on-time and informative. Competitive pricing and Venture solar provided quick and easy access to competitive financing. Venture Solar took care of all permits with the town and the utility and stayed on top of everything to ensure that the project stayed on track. Installation completed in one day. $0 down with competitive financing made the cost of the system attractive.

Excellent experience at every step

From beginning to end every Venture Solar representative we interacted with was upfront thorough patient and responsive to every question we had along the way. From Ross Moore out sales rep , the install team, the roofing contractors, the finance department , to customer service “Scott” and finally Shane who helped us fine tune questions we had once we were up and running There were many steps from out intro to all the agencies that had had to i spect and clear us to operate and Venture Solar guided us as promised in a very responsive and professional manner. We wholeheartedly recommend Venture Solar

Incredible incompetence

Venture Solar is wildly incompetent and quite frankly I’m shocked they still exist considering how they treat their customers. The only thing these people specialize in is incompetence. They cost me 7 days of PTO due to their inability to make and keep an appointment, and to manage changes or even pick up the phone. When they finally got around to showing up, they installed equipment for a program that wasn’t even available in my state, thus costing me 2 more days of PTO and several months waiting on them to fix the issue. They make promises they can’t keep and can’t design an appropriate solar system to save their lives. I provided as much up to date data as possible for my usage and requests and when I explicitly requested a design review before construction I was all but told to eff off. The sales director (Morgan) told me my permits were close to expiring and we absolutely needed to start construction- but he couldn’t tell me the date or give me a good explanation as to why their calculations were so wildly incorrect, and furthermore denied my review. DO NOT GO WITH VENTURE. They will screw you over at every opportunity and gaslight you to boot. I’m honestly shocked they still exist as a company because of the way they run their mouths and haven’t delivered on a single promise they’ve made. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The CEO/owner will email you to “make things right” over a phone call- I’ve heard that 3-4 times over the last year and still haven’t gotten a call. They will lie and say whatever they need to say to get your money. If they ever bother to call you and attempt to compensate you for your time- expect an insulting amount of cash. These people cost me SEVEN days of PTO- and offered a $250 gift card as compensation. That’s $4.47/hr to compensate me for my time they wasted. Absolutely pathetic and insulting. These people are incompetent, insulting, malicious and don’t deserve to be in business. You WILL get screwed over by these people at every opportunity

Nothing but the best

Their sales Team explained everything perfectly. I know a bit about solar and they didn't try to give me any misleading or any 1/2 true info. Estimated time was January and it was up and running by November. The installation team was great. Everyone kept me informed at all times of their schedule. Were very respectful of my property and the price was comparable to any other systems even though their equipment was the best. Installation only took 4 hours! My house is very close to a neighbor who's house is higher than mine and shades my roof in the winter. I'm waiting to see if that was taken into consideration when they designed the system. Right now (Dec. 17), my 5 lower panels are not producing much power so we'll see!

Seamless Process and Good Support

The sales process was quick, informative, and easy. Considering how much time and lack of response is involved with this process (i.e. waiting for permitting, etc.) I was kept well informed throughout. Had a few small things pop up to address following the installation, and was bouncing between a few Venture employees to manage through that, and there seemed to be some information loss between those parties. At the end of the day, everything got done, install looks clean, and everything seems to be working properly. I think the only place for improvement was some communication clarity and smoothness in the final stages, but great experience nonetheless!

Customer Service - On Site & Management

After my system experienced some technical issues, the on-site team did not give up until solving the problem. Once they had discovered and fixed the problem, manager Ryan Henck stepped in to make things right and ensure I was satisfied with the resolution. Ryan and his team were a pleasure to work with and I appreciate their efforts. Now my system is up and running again smoothly and I look forward to many more years of savings with the Venture Solar team!

Was very hesitant about having Solar Panels installed been researching them for a few years now but when Venture came along (as a referral) I chose them. Excellence from beginning to end. Christopher amazing customer service

I noticed my father wasn’t receiving kWh credits on his bill and was having issues with his gateway box I reached out to our saleswomen Victoria and who promptly put us in touch with Chris he was a great help and offered solutions right away they both definitely deserve a raise

Customer service

Kristopher and Paul in customer service are very helpful and answered all of our questions. They both always called us back and were so kind and knowledgeable. The company had some hiccups with the electric co but were always helpful and tried to rectify all issues.

Working with Venture went well. I was able to expedite my installation by adding my name to the cancellation list. The salesperson, inspectors, and installation team were punctual, polite, and responsive. The only issue is that one of my microinverters hasn't been working since installation and no one has been out to fix it yet.
