Venture Solar has always addressed to my satisfaction any concerns I've had.

Installation was completed in one day as I was told.

The crew was very professional and kept me informed as the day went on. So far this entire project has been on schedule and all the people involved have kept me informed and up to date with permits etc. and someone calls at the end of each completed phase and tells me what comes next. I am now waiting on Eversource to come replace my meter with one that goes forward and backward.

PA solar

The crew was very good that installed our solar panels on our roof which was completed in one day. They were friendly and informative. The only reason Venture Solar doesn't get an excellent score is because after the solar panels were installed it was hard to get in contact with the salesman. We wanted to make sure that all the conditions in our contract were complied with before we wrote a review. We tried contacting others at Venture Solar about our contract but didn't get a call back; at first. Also, we had questions on the next process and what we needed to do for the next steps in order for our system to be activated. We thought that we wouldn't have to do so much calling and research for our solar project to be activated. We called our electric company and the inspectors to find out what was needed next since Venture Solar didn't keep us updated after the panels were installed. We finally got in contact with Ryan H. at Venture Solar who was great in helping us with all our questions. He promptly returned our emails and was very helpful in solving all the issues.

Horrible service

I chose to get a quote from venture after my brother and a coworker went with them. After sitting down and signing the contract with venture I was able to to get another quote in from Earthlight technologies. Earthlight was coming in at $15,000 less than venture with a few hundred kws less of generation. At this point I chose to cancel my contract with venture and go with Earthlight. After bing informed by venture that everything has been cancelled in December. I now have received and had my bank account charged for a loan That was tied to my venture contract from mosaic. Now after playing phone tag for almost two weeks I have received notification from mosaic that my loan was cancelled. Now I have to wait 45-60 days to get my refund back. Worst experience ever I would stay away from this company. My brothers system is still not up and running after a year of the panels being installed on the house.

Excellent service, sales process and support

From start to finish this company was tier A. The sales process was very smooth. Kevin Hine guided me throughout the entire process and explained me everything and more I needed to know about solar. I had the experience of pushy sales in the past before but did not feel that throughout the process here with Venture Solar. I am sure I made the right decision signing up with Venture.

Great Customer Service, Honest Approach, No Surprises

I started the process with another company but was soon uneasy with the tactics, bait and switch on brands initially presented and poor communication. I canceled the project and researched other installers. I ended up choosing Venture Solar and immediately saw the difference in approach, thoroughness of presentation and attention to detail. From the sales pitch to contract signing, I could see the professionalism and integrity in the people I was dealing with. The solar design was spot on and addressed every one of my concerns. I was then assigned to Carol, my project coordinator. She was on top of every step of the process, right through to panel installation. I was never blindsided by unexpected events or appointments and if weather was going to be an issue, Carol was right on the phone, explaining the delay and ready to reschedule. From yard trenching to panel installation, the crew was respectful of my yard and home. There was no debris left behind. This was a 21 panel system, placed over 3 roofs on the main home plus additional panels on the unattached garage. Workmanship was excellent and the team moved items around so as to hide much of the connecting conduit and electrical boxes, minimizing the electrical eyesore I have noted on many other Solar homes. I can’t say enough about the entire process and am looking forward to final inspections and the startup of my system.

Communicative Competative and Competent

Venture Solar has a great team of employees. They are very communicative, competitive, and competent. If you're looking for a company to install Solar, I highly recommend them. Their team of installers work for the company, rather than being subcontracted. I love generating solar on my roof!

Had a great experience with Venture Solar and I investigated many companies before I chose Venture. I have not been disappointed. Design team worked with me to give me the look I wanted and the installation team could not have been more efficient. Just waiting on the Electric company for new net metering and I will be good to go!!

Very courteous Staff

We are pleased with the whole process. As with everything now a days it took a while from installation to working because of all the outside entities that need to be involved i.e., Town inspector, Eversouce replacing meter etc. Then a glitch because we had changed Wifi carriers. Solar Venture handled everything. When we received our next Eversouce bill, it was half the cost of the previous month. (and we were just place on-line with the solar) The panels were already producing. Next month's should be at the contract price. Can't wait.

Customer service with the enlighten App

the customer service Shane was very helpful getting me to understand the workings of this app. very patient and made sure I understood the app and gave an excellent education. very knowledgeable and made me feel he would stay on the phone conversation until i felt comfortable with the app. he also made it very welcoming if I had any more questions to call him. I give the Shane 5 star for his help, unfortunately because I'm new in this endeavor, less than a month , I don't give 5 star ratings until i've been a customer for a few years. and see how all this plays out. ask me again in a few years then i'll give a true picture of this whole solar deal.

VERY GOOD SERVICE

I was trying to get solar system with two other different companies and none of them gave me the service that I needed until I found Venture Solar, the service was perfect since the beginning. It took a little while to get my panels installed due a delay with the city approvals but now I'm so happy and excited to have my system working properly. Ryan Henck gave me the best customer service ever! I highly recommend this solar company to everyone. Thank you guys! Estuve tratando de obtener el sistema de energia solar con otras dos diferentes companias pero ninguna de ellas me dio el servicio que yo necesitaba hasta que encontre a Venture Solar, el servicio fue perfecto desde el principio. Tomo un poco de tiempo tener mis paneles instalados debido a una demora en las autorizaciones de la ciudad pero ahora estoy muy feliz y emocionado de tener mi sistema funcionando adecuadamente. Poor customer service

So here's my solar process thus far: Great sales guy, explained the whole solar process to me, took his time and made sure it was clear. I signed the contract and we begun. Installation of panels was quick (2 weeks), it took however 2 months to have it turned on due to the multiple inspections and re-work and then re-inspections, the sales rep had mentioned it will take a while, though not that long but I was okay with it. Solar got turned on and I finally start reaping its benefit. This is where I have a sour taste in my mouth: 1. I was told and also in my contract, the solar panels are being monitored, anything happens to them venture will notice on their end and make an appointment to come out to inspect and fix. On my solar app, one of my panels was showing an error, I had to call multiple times to have a tech come out to take a look. Worrying that brand new panels should be under-producing a few months in, the tech finally came, inspected it and said he might have to replace the underperforming panel if his quick fix doesn't hold. Just a week later the panel begins to show an error again, I called to complain and was told a service order has been submitted for this (to be fair, the customer rep who I had been engaging with for this issue was nice and genuinely wanted to help). Finally after about a month, a tech came out to fix the issue. I wasn't home when they did so don't know if they replaced the faulty panel or did another fix. Whichever the case, the error on my app is clear and holding steady so far. 2. Srec - part of the sales pitch of getting solar is the srec program you get enrolled into that pays you a fixed amount per energy you put back into the grid through your solar panels. I researched it, saw it was true and was part of why I signed up. About a month after my solar was turned on, I called venture asking about the Srec program. I was given a website to go create a profile and then provide venture with my account number and some other details so they can update the technical information needed for the Srec program to kick off. Let's just say I have called and emailed at least twice every month since then and at first the venture contact would respond saying they haven't been able to update the information, and now she just doesn't respond to my status inquiry. 3 months of doing that I finally decided to call Venture Solar's cust serv number. The rep I spoke with (via text) said it is not Venture's responsibility to set up my Srec, I should contact Sunnova to help me with that. I told him I don't have any dealings with Sunnova besides the loan, then I sent him a screenshot of my contract where it says Venture is responsible for setting up the Srec program. Finally he calls Sunnova himself then gets back to me asking me to create an account. I told him (not for the 1st time) that I already have the account setup and its asking me to fill technical information about the solar panels, he said he will get back to me. Again like the other lady radio silent. Its been 2 weeks now and no word from him either. At this point I'm at my wits end, I don't know who to go to in venture, I am now considering legal action. This has been my experience with Venture Solar, its been 9 months since I started this solar journey with Venture solar, 6 months since my solar panels got turned on and I'm still not able to get enrolled into the Srec program. I'm not saying don't get Solar, but you're probably better off with a more reputable company

Paul Bookey was excellent in explaining the information I requested. He was very patient with my lack of knowledge but was able to answer all my questions.

Good Install

The install team did a great job, installed the panels like I had in mind, hid all the wires, nice clean install. waiting for Final Electrical approval.

6 months from contract to install

Ot took almost 7 months to get here, but I’m happy with my system and the installation. The install team was awesome. They had all 20 panels installed in under 4 hours. Everything was weather sealed and clean. I’m currently almost a month into the system being activated. Like some other reviews of Venture on this site, I experienced frustration with the absence of communication on the stage of my project. This should be an easy problem to solve. Amazon is able to tell me how many stops away the bag of coffee i ordered is from my house. I don’t expect that level of detail, but some transparency into the process should be doable. There were multiple weeks I was told the system was going to be live next week. Frequently I had to call to get someone, anyone, to provide me a status from the interconnect team. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and seemed interested in helping, but it doesn’t seem like the teams communicate with one another.
