Great company

Communication was great and they really worked with me around the pre-paid lease option. My interest rate did change but they adjusted my initial purchase price

Overall really good with a few annoyances

Sales was excellent. Informative and helpful. At signing I was told they would reach out and hopefully schedule installation in the next two weeks. I had to prod the company after the full two weeks without hearing anything. Once I got their attention installation was schedule very quickly. At the end of that there was another promise of them filing for inspection etc. and another two weeks estimate... After two weeks I reached out again and soon there after got a few emails showing that things were happening. City came out and the inspection went well - except that Venture didn't have all the paperwork in hand at that moment. The company rep said that it would go out ASAP and of course it took a couple of weeks with me being annoying. After it was finally turned on, the follow on support has been really good. Allison walked me through the monitoring app and what to do if there are any issues etc. Love the system so far, just a few annoying bumps on the way. Partially frustrating because it should have taken about a month less time to get it working and that month was July when we would have saved a lot of money.

They did a great job but it took 10 months to operate that’s the downside otherwise the employees are great the call service is amazing.

Solar working as designed

The project is not complete, we are waiting on the batteries to be installed but the panels are working as designed. There were some challenges with the batteries but after a couple calls the issues were resolved and the project is back on track. Cameron Doherty was a big help there, always nice to work with people who are good at their job. Once batteries are up and running I will provide more updates

Our experience with Venture was overall a positive one. It took longer than we hoped but that was partly due to harsh winter conditions. Everyone with dealt with a long the way was cordial and professional.

Happily Solar

After a lot of apprehension to going solar, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I spoke with several representatives from different companies and decided on Venture. I was happy with the work done and the end results of a practically non-existent electric bill. I have only given 4 stars because I have not yet had any problems and have not had to deal with customer service or repair. I will give the last star if the need for power/problem resolution occurs and the total experience is satisfactory.

We are very happy with our interaction with Venture Solar and the way the installation was done. The system has worked perfectly since it was put in operation in June. However based on production data so far it does not appear that we will reach the yearly target production of about 7000 kWh next June. If so this is a problem because that financial justification is based on this level of production.

Great Solar Installation experience

Venture Solar did a great job of coming up with a solar proposal that will help me to offset my high electricity demand. I though the upfront sales proposal was well done and great at educating me on the options I had. I thought the installation process was great, their team was exceptional at building and setting up a great system that looked great. They also responded quickly to installation fixes when Avon inspector found a few minor issues. Communication during some of the longer waiting periods and setting expectations with the frustrations that our local electricity company Eversource has would be the only place I think they can improve. They are not responsible for Eversource dragging their feet and having absolutely no communication channels, but I think there were opportunities to be more proactive, which could have resulted in the project being completed sooner.

Overall, great quality panels and installation. I've seen/heard about other companies and the products they use, and the product Venture uses is top notch. Also, the accompanying app makes it easy to see how your production in live time to make sure you're always aware of your system's efficiency. 4 star rating because of a few administrative setbacks, however even so, Venture continued to work with me until my concerns were resolved. I would use Venture again for my solar needs, and plan to as my electrical needs grow.

My numbers on power needs and those generated by Venture Solar matched. The system design more than exceeded our demand. Professional installation by a great crew. Any last minute changes were discussed and agreed upon. Two days after completing the initial installation, Venture Solar conducted a second inspection of the system. No complaints and no surprises Great job.

I recommend Venture Solar. The sales experience was excellent. The product is excellent quality. The installers were very courteous, quick and neat. Everything that was under their control happened in a timely manner, however from the time I signed the contract to the time of final approval and start of solar production was nine months, more than four months longer than anticipated. I feel the company could have done more to push the City inspections and utility company along. My system is now producing power and I am very pleased.

Process has been slow. Our initial visit was with salesman Matt S. who was new but nice and explained the process. His boss Josh V. came with him the second time was pushy and quick to have us sign the documents, but when I tried reaching out to him to find out was taking so long no answer. Matt Stalling was great got things moving when I reached out to him even though he was new. Had the Muffin Men from Hudson install the panels. Nick and Aaron the electricians on this crew were amazing and so professional, they let me know everything that was being done and if any issues came up. The actual crew installing the panels on the roof need some training on cleaning up after themselves! They left all the granules that fell off the shingles from the installation all over my deck and front entrance along with some trash in the driveway. Waiting on inspection and on activation from National Grid. Ventures customer service is lagging and calling with updates a bit late, hope they get better and get the process moved quicker with National Grid to actually get the system running.

So far so good. My salesman Cam is great and patient because I ask a lot of questions and was a little apprehensive from hearing so many negative things about other solar companies. Venture has a 25 year workmanship warranty, installed fast …less than a month, and sent professional installers with company trucks and shirts…not contractors. They completed the job quickly, cleaned up, and ran the conduit the way I asked. System isn’t fully on yet which is the only reason for the 4, waiting on inspection. I Would highly recommend using Venture Solar!

Up and running and seems to be producing very well! There were some snafus along the way but overall I am very pleased with the outcome!

Acquisition of Solar working with Venture Solar

Overall, great implementation with the Venture Solar team. My grading standards are tough, but hopefully fair, and I felt like Venture was a great partner. - The install, development, technical, and followup teams were excellent on all fronts. - The sales team delivered a great pitch but after the signature they clearly had moved on and less responsive. - The PM team seemed out of touch and uninformed, being unresponsive impacted our timeline multiple times. I would recommend VS for others to use, top notch outcomes and I overall they were a strong partner. (As background, I had a 50 Module system with a 20 backup.)

The crew was super friendly, fast, and communicated clearly. The ONLY reason for four stars versus 5 is that they left wire remnants in the driveway and around the house. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice not to have to pick it up myself.

No BS, smooth installation, clean

Interviewed several competitors, heard lots of promises. Brent was straight and acted without the BS promises. Great system design and installation. Once turned on produced immediately, cleanly and delivering.

Very fast to resolve situations when able to speak with representatives. I never received an email response for assistance, but had quick help with Paul B.

Solar installation experience

A little confusing on there part for the pre inspection. They needed to do two inspections since the first was not able to get into the attic space(no access). I would often get calls from two office with conflicting information during this time. As far as the install. Finished the job quickly and was professional the entire time. They did not leave any trash behind.

Good experience

It was a super easy process; I only did the initial paper work and didn’t have to do anything else . The only hiccup that I had was that I had to follow up with them myself after they got everything done through the town … the representative Paul was super helpful. He listened to my concerns and questions and assist me to the best of his ability.
