They did all the work!

The Solar Venture team took care of everything from start to finish. This includes submitting all appropriate forms and drawings to my HOA. The only hold up was on the HOA side. The installation crew was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the equipment. The rewards came when the electric bill came and there was a significant difference.

Great Solar Installation experience

Venture Solar did a great job of coming up with a solar proposal that will help me to offset my high electricity demand. I though the upfront sales proposal was well done and great at educating me on the options I had. I thought the installation process was great, their team was exceptional at building and setting up a great system that looked great. They also responded quickly to installation fixes when Avon inspector found a few minor issues. Communication during some of the longer waiting periods and setting expectations with the frustrations that our local electricity company Eversource has would be the only place I think they can improve. They are not responsible for Eversource dragging their feet and having absolutely no communication channels, but I think there were opportunities to be more proactive, which could have resulted in the project being completed sooner.

Communication needs to improve

There were MANY gaps in communication that resulted in delay after delay. I was assured I’d never have dual bills but it was a lie! I had two months where I owed large amounts to Eversource while also paying my solar bill.

My experiance

The sales experience was great no hi pressure and our sales rep Morgan was really informative and knowledgeable in helping us make the decision. The install was also very good smooth and seamless. The installers where very knowledgeable and did a great job. BUT after the install we were forgotten no follow up. I tried to contact to add more panels. We do no believe that we are going to have enough to make through the winter months. Also we have made 3 referrals that have been documented in the venture app. We have received the compensation for one because they install solar. The other 2 were deemed not good fits for venture solar. But still we never received the promised $50. for us referring. In wrapping up I would like to say I am happy with the install but not so with the lack of response to my inquiries.

wish I had installed solar years ago

I gave 5 stars across the board to Venture Solar and they deserve it! Our salesman, Craig, was very informative and answered all our questions honestly and completely. By the end of the sales process we were well informed, and convinced that installing solar equipment was to our benefit. The schedule and installation process took a few months, but there was a lot for them to make ready, including working with us to have a new, high quality, roof put down. After two months of $0 utility company costs (including A/C) we will finally start paying off our lease at the original agreed upon cost. The solar lease cost will increase our electric cost slightly in winter, but drastically lower them during the warm/hot months. Whether you choose a lease or pay the costs upfront you will appreciate the detailed and methodical installation process provided by Venture Solar. As an added benefit, our utility company provided an energy audit of our house and at a minimal fee arranged for our attic and basement fully insulated.

Quality and transparency

If you want a local company that is highly reputable, look no further. This company did the job right at the right price. They have a more personable approach to solar. Low pressure and very educational!

Our experience with Venture Solar has been five star all the way. Our sales rep, Nicole answered all our questions, and was very professional. We were shocked when your installation group arrived on one of the hottest days of the summer and got us all set up. We have no regrets at all with going solar, and we have referred two friends your way so far. In today’s economy who doesn’t want to save money on increasing electricity costs. We are very happy that we were referred by another retired friend to your company. Thank you again!

Excellent service

We are very happy with all aspects of our solar install and follow up from Venture Solar. The lease arrangement was well explained and works for us. Happy to not having that big electric bill.

Do not do solar

I was told after a few months of the solar being hooked up. I would only be paying 64.00. However it's been 1 years now and I am still getting electric bills. I have complained to your partner IGS solar and all I get is excuses or rudeness. Also I was never told I would still get delivery charges. I was lied to by the sales person whom I reached out to several times only to find he quit. Why would I ever agree to pay for solar and know I was still going to have an electric bill. I am paying more now than when I did not have solar. You guys are a rip off and I have asked that the system be removed. The guy from IGS solar refuses to investigate my claim. It is obvious you can see I am getting electric bills and I am paying more now. Who in there right mind would pay more money for solar. Oh I know someone who was lied to. I recall even asking the question several times. I am only going to have to pay 64$ I was told yes. I

Excellent Experience

This was the only vendor who called when they said they would call, came when they said they would come, and seemed professional. Although it took a bit longer than hoped for the actual installation, it was done quickly once it began. I've had low or no electric bills since the spring, so I'm definitely saving money even with the added leasing fee.

Stay Away !!!!!

My Solar was promised to be up and running i. May . I ordered it in February . As of today Oct 2025 it is not working I now have a solar payment and still an electric bill. This is Crazy ! This company makes huge promises and deliver zero from the initial contact with the sales person. who promised we could call her with any issues even after installation , yeah right. Through today there has been nothing but excuses and delay after delay ., which we've been patient and understanding until now.. If you do sign with them good luck speaking to anyone from company on the phone about what our status is . They do not show up as stated. They don't you call you back They will not provide you the persons in charge contact information when requested . Venture Solar are the installers and once they were paid by the bank. It's seems they could care less . This is the WORST COMPANY I have ever heard of or dealt with !! Nothing but excuses and stories . How are they still in business ?? STAY AWAY !! I did see a negative review previous to buying , but there were many good ones , which the sales person explained away the bad ones. Do your research on line if you don't believe me. If you do you won't go near this company . I've had it !! Time to call the AG's office !!

Awesome Experience

Working with Venture Solar has been an AWESOME experience! From the initial introduction to receiving the letter letting us know we’re connected and generating solar power has been wonderful. The installation team did an awesome job installing the solar panels and connecting the wiring to our meter. John has been awesome with keeping us informed on everything happening in the process. I shopped around and I’m glad I went with Venture Solar. My wife and I are very pleased with everything.

A NO BRAINER

Needing a new roof of 28 years old and going solar was a no brainer for me signed up in may and the finance company was Posigen got into the project and after the roof replacement the project came to a stop , after waiting for Posigen to release funds, we found out they had problems with mass layoffs, this was not a fault of Venture, after correcting the issue we got Palmetto and got back on track , Thanks to Raelyn and Josh they kept me informed and put up with all my e-mails , The crew was awesome , neat and professional solar was turned on 09/29/2025 and working well

From our first visit to learn about Venture Solar with Brian to our walk through with John, the service has been exceptional. Mitch Jaff is a broker or a third party salesperson . Let's say my whole experience has been a total mess been dealing with him for over I believe 3 years he promises all kinds of incentives and stuff $5,000 he was favored heat pumps I am a disabled person so is my wife I'm actually on the palliative care right now so I really need to get these heat pumps installed he was supposed to put them in before the solar panels went in. Every time I speak to him on my wife does cuz he says I'm not the contract holder originally I was till he conned me the changing my electric bill over to my wife's name. He is a very dishonest person and does not take care of his customers I'm sure you received numerous complaints about this individual . I have contacted several times my wife has two he's complains that we call him at odd hours and text him and bother him he's a salesperson I don't know what we're doing bothering him we just want what was promised to us in the contract my wife's name is kerry bolack . If you need further information you can contact me find my email she'll have when I send this to you. We are now having no alternative to seek outside sources and Mitch works for you the paperwork is in your company name. We are going to file with everyone they can handle this from disability to presenting himself as an employee of your office. He's coming up with some great stories how we go raped in a telephone booth kidnapped out of the country I mean I've never heard such things from a person nor do I care to hear it I have all texts and everything I need I hope someone will get on this as soon as possible because I'm only waiting till the end of next week then I will file with the appropriate authorities thank you for your understanding I am just totally at a loss that you would hire such an individual that takes advantage of people with disabilities thank you in advance for your cooperation and handling manner an expediting it as soon as possible seeing how I have no heat and he promised to get me heat pumps that's the way my solar system was designed to power them he just seems to think it's a big joke not having heat again cuz I'm disabled I believe he's discriminating against me and my wife hopefully it doesn't come down to legal actions I think this is something we can handle at this level if not just let me know and we can take it to the next step then Mitch Jaff

Unprofessional

If you are shopping for solar panels, please stay AWAY from Venture Solar. I'm going to "sum up" my experience with them. Installation/Pre-installation: While inspecting my attic, one of the workers sat on a sprinkler pipe causing the sprinkler head to pop down through the ceiling. I told him when it happened. He attempted to push it back up but it didn't work. After no follow up, I contacted the company to correct this issue. They didn't fix it until after the installation was done (4 months or so). During installation, the workers were unprofessional. Some were walking around my house with a cigarette hanging out their mouth, using poor language, etc. Once the system was installed, they turned it on in March. I noticed I wasn't capturing very much solar and thought it was the time of year. After calling, they sent someone out to take a look. The worker told me half of the solar panels weren't even plugged in. They corrected that. Issue still remained, I was not getting very much solar. Someone emailed me stating that it was because of the trees around my property. I honestly have 1 tree on the property that is not even in the way of sunlight to my panels. They sent someone back out to check out the system. Low and behold, the inverter wasn't working properly. By the time the system was functioning properly, it was the end of August. I went almost 6 months not banking any solar power, paying the monthly installment, PLUS I had to pay for the electricity I used because I wasn't generating even a 1/3 of what they system should have. My monthly bills were $179 for the panels, plus anywhere between $125-$225 for electricity. I complained about this to Venture Solar. They passed the buck stating it wasn't their responsibility to reimburse me for any power. They told me to call Posigen, which is the company that financed the panels. Venture Solar wouldn't contact anyone or reimburse me for all the power I missed out on. I called Posigen and had to explain the whole story to them on what has happened. They stated they aren't responsible for any missed solar, but will "look into" reimbursement for some of the electric bill. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I worked with Adam Strumpf of Venture Solar, he's the VP of Operations. He wouldn't give me info of who to speak with above him, I assume that's because he probably didn't want his boss knowing the disaster this company created and couldn't manage. This is what happened in my experience, I hope you're smart enough to look elsewhere!

Prompt, excellent communication, quality work

I'm hapy with the service they provided. Very responsive and the team (from Deleware) that installed my panels did quality work. I askes for a specific way to run the conduit from the roof and they were happy to do it in a way that makes it less intrussive.

Install

I ask a LOT of questions and all were answered to my satisfaction and in a timely manner.. never once was I made to feel like a bother. They want to do what’s right for the customer not just sell a system. Top notch from sales through installation and as a team keeping us updated along the way. They took care of every detail with permitting and the electric company. We look forward to shortly getting the green light from the power company to get the system “turned on” and enjoying the energy the sun is making for us. We can’t stop the power company from continually going up but we are doing our best to help save a few bucks and do what feels environmentally right.

The staff has been very attentive, courteous and knowledgeable so far. The initial contact person was well informed and therefore able to answer all my questions. My team, Dan and Aries have given me stellar customer service. They keep me informed of each step in the process, when things are or will be happening, and what steps are next. They contact me when there is a lull in the process just to let me know everything is still progressing.

Good communicators and you are aware of each stage of the process as it moves forward.
