8 Month Review
We ordered a DIY kit through their partner Solar Wholesale. The install was as easy as the videos, though it did take some time. The panels are preforming better then expected as our system will sometimes produce more then it is rated for. The software though could use some optimizing gives a lot of details and is pretty fluid. (i look it at almost daily). They make you feel as you are one of them during the whole process.

Worst customer service and delivery I've ever experience
Worst customer service that I've experience with any company in Utah. We got Solar for our home, and an EV charger. We started working with Next Energy Alliance I believe September 12, 2019. They did not finish installing everything until February 2020. 5 MONTHS. I get there's busy season for these things, but that is ridiculous. I had to called our power company (rocky mountain/pacific corp) to keep track of what the timelines were and get updates, because NEA was terrible at answering their phone and when they did answer, they were rude and didn't give clear information. Their service technicians who do the installation are also very rude and don't even give you notice that they are leaving or what they have done. Also, when they finished, the solar panels faulted. I had to call them back to fix that. Also, they didn't even fully hook up the EV charger. I had to call them back to make sure that was set up. They didn't give me the receipt for the EV charger so I could take advantage of the rebate and know what model EV charger they were installing. They never even told me what model of anything was being installed. Terrible customer service. Just terrible all around. I strongly recommend you don't work with them. I believe they are called Solar Wholesale now. I have proof of everything I am sharing in this review.

5 months still don't have working panels
I have been given the run around, and the panels that are installed on my roof still aren't attached to the grid. It's been 5 months since I signed a contract to purchase the panels They can't get their documentation together to even get the application finalized with the electric company. I am now paying a loan payment for my system and an energy payment. This process had made me seriously question why I ever thought I wanted to go solar.

Great company...
I chose SolarWholesale / Next Energy Alliance because they had a local office and offered the lowest overall price I could find. It took them 28 business days or 40 total days from the time I signed the contract until I was generating power. And, the panels were actually installed after 13 business days or 19 total days after the contract was signed. I don't think many companies can beat that short install timeframe. And, did I mention that they were the lowest price I could find in Utah? I am a Utilities Engineer, and I have to admit that I am super-happy with my experience. I would say I am pretty impatient and pretty hard to please overall, and I am still delighted with my experience. SolarWholesale added a car charger into the contract for an extremely low price, and they made good on their promise to install it. It was installed on the 14th business day or 20th day after my contract was signed. And, I have been saving money with this great, name-brand, level 2 charger ever since that time. My Honda Clarity charges in around 2 to 2.5 hours (with a 17 kWh battery). After driving several PHEVs, I think the Honda Clarity is the best bang for the buck in terms of PHEVs right now. I got 36 panels and a car charger installed for under $30K with a 2 year, same-as-cash finance option (included in the $30K price tag). After tax incentives and such, I should be well under $20K for everything. And, I expect my ROI to be somewhere between 8 and 9 years. My average generation per day in the first week is between $5 and $6 per day (or roughly 66 kWh of total energy generated per day times 9.2 cents per kWh for RMP's lowest tier rate). So, it isn't a get-rich-quick scheme by any means. But, I expect to save somewhere between $1,500 and $1,800 per year on power. And, that should be good enough to cover my power expenses on a 3,500 sq. ft. home with a big family. With the 30% off in federal tax credits and $1,600 off in Utah State credits at tax time, how can you go wrong? Those credits are going down year over year, so I believe that the time to act is now. Go with SolarWholesale, and I think you are in good hands.

Due diligence is the key with many solar companies out there. Solar Wholesale rocks the entire process, starting with their website, staff contact, customer education all the way through install. These guys ARE Solar!!!

Great Experience. Great pricing. Super easy to work with!
When I received the quote from Solar Wholesale, I had to call Doug and ask how he could be SO MUCH cheaper than the competition. I had my doubts that we could really offer the same (or better) hardware, full installation, at a price that was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than anyone else. But after visiting his warehouse, talking to his installer, and seeing that he does what he says he does, we signed up. The install happened on schedule. The inspection took a couple of trips (as I was told might happen). And RMP finally got our Net Meter installed in mid-May. From day one, the system has performed perfectly. No more electric bills. Five Stars.
