I'm excited to say that my new solar installation is now complete after the last 2 days they have been working on the installation. The project took about 6 weeks from the day I met with my representative Blake to today once it's all finished up on my roof. Really excited to join the Semper family only hear positive things. My friend went solar with semper Solaris over a year ago and referred me because I went to his house for a party and we started talking about his solar panels that he's been really happy with. So I made an appointment sounded really good to me and I'm really excited I won't be having to pay anywhere from $100 to $500 a month in electricity bills.

After Research, Multiple Estimates, and a Dire Need to Not make a bad decision I found the Company that was Just Right for me. Learning the way different companies explained the types and benefits of Solar taught me quite a bit. For example I noticed that with most companies they pushed the benefits of the Solar toward their prime products while making other options sound less attractive and unrealistic. Then I sat with Rob Cassidy at Semper Solaris. He told me straight about his knowledge of Solar. He taught me the benefits of the different types of Solar plans (Leasing or Buying). His answers to my questions reaffirmed what I knew or already surmised while shedding light on questions I had and/or Negative remarks other companies had said about certain things . Throughout the conversations we had I felt more and more reassured about his Sincerity and Knowledge. I at no point felt that he was steering me in a direction but instead felt that I was being taught the various Benefits of Plans and Products. In the end I felt confident that we had created a Plan that best suited my household with the absolute Best Panels available today(some companies needed way more roof space and panels in order to produce the same amount of electricity). After consideration of All, it was Semper Solaris Hayward for me. The Products, Knowledge of Solar, Warrantees, and Concentration on Integrity within the Company made me feel confident in my Decision. Then the Installation. Thank You Manuel Rios and Team Tango. You were all Reliable, Professional, Hard Working, and Efficient. It was absolutely effortless on our parts. We were amazed at how well the process went. PG&E was taken care of by you all, the panels were put in and Beautiful, and we were up and running quicker than I thought possible. I want to thank Robert Cassidy, who I knew was an expert, but after vetting Rob, and Semper through the CSLB, Linkedin, and review sites, Semper is HANDS DOWN the company to do solar. I Definitely appreciate you all, and my new lower bill!!

New solar installation

Just had my solar panels installed just over a week ago from semper Solaris and they did a fantastic job. We met with them about 5 weeks ago and Blake was our rep. He explained everything from the company to different panels. He showed us the PPA and the purchase. After he explained all the benefits of both programs we choose a no money down purchase. We got American made panels made by sunpower and they look great on our house. I was not excited about having big panels on our house but these solar panels are really nice and low profile. The install took a day and a half . The install team didn't make as much noise as I thought they would and they cleaned up their mess before leaving. The inspector just came out yesterday and approved my solar so the job is now complete. I asked the inspector if they did a good job compared to what he's use to seeing and he said they did a really good job he fails on average of 10 solar installations a month for various reasons. I was happy to know I made the right choice with semper Solaris. But if it wasn't for Blake making everything so easy to understand we probably would still be paying Edison for awhile. Great experience all the way around. Oh and we have a 25 year warranty on they system. Thats Awesome.

A stellar experience

We had a wonderful experience with our contact Anela Havellana and everyone that we came into contact with at Semper Solaris. Our system was installed in less than a day and was totally up and running by the end of the week. We are recent transplants from Seattle and Solar just seemed like a no brainer especially after seeing our power bills here in San Diego.

Couldn't be happier...MUST READ REVIEW

We were looking to get a solar system installed for our new home because, quite frankly, we were fed up with these massive SDGE bills. Needless to say, it was a daunting task to sift through all of these different solar contractors to see who was the best contractor. Best to me is defined as a contractor that is going to do quality work on my home, use great materials and be competitively priced. I’m a serial researcher…meaning I don’t pull the trigger on anything until I do a TON of research and learn as much as I can. Let me just save you the hours and hours of time by offering two pieces of advice: 1) Call Semper Solaris 2) Ask to meet with Roland Obana Roland is very knowledgeable and answered every question I could throw his way (from how the system would be installed, what it would look like, how much money I would really save, warranty info, etc). He really made us feel comfortable about this investment. Thereafter, Semper Solaris did their job and executed just like Roland promised. Things don’t always go this smoothly with other contractors but these guys are the leaders of solar in San Diego for a reason. Follow my advice and don’t look back. I’m saving a TON of money now!

Great Service

The crew at Semper Solaris where amazing. The first initial meeting with Genevieve was where we got all the info on how the install would go and it went just as planned. The office staff Veronica and Vinney where also very informative on what was going on and where we would be week by week. Our system was installed in 6 weeks from meeting with Genevieve. Our project manager Mark and his crew where awesome and very clean on the install. I would definitely recommend this team for your solar needs.

Great Job

We had Semper Solaris do our solar panels. Our experience w semper has been great. Throughout the entire process, Caesar Loche was excellent and supportive, as were other members of the SemperSolaris Team. To us, dealing with regular people and also with military backgrounds was key to choosing them. We love our Solar so far! Now we don't need to worry so much about running that A/C a little more during the hot summer months.

A new start with Solar - part 1

This review is so far on the service as my system has not yet been installed. I will follow up once that portion is done This is my second go on solar. Two years ago I didn’t know if Semper Solaris and by recommendation I went with another company who was very popular because of who their owner is... they make Electric cars now. Anyway, I don’t regret going solar but just disappointed at that company’s fall of their customer service. Anyway, this second time I was resolved to interview as many companies as I could to make sure I made the right decision. Semper Solaris was my fourth interview and Ron Schaefer was the rep who came to my home. I respected and appreciated his realistic and simplistic and no gimmicks approach to solve my requests on building the system I wanted. He was polite and flexible with my hesitation to do any deal than and there... the research I had done, the value I was getting on the product and Ron’s service made me choose Semper Solaris as the company I would purchase my system with.

Ronald Schaefer and Semper Solaris provided me a great experience throughout the solar purchasing process. I was always informed and kept in the loop about the timelines and next steps. I would recommend Semper to anyone interested in adding Solar to their home.

Great company

We had a great experience with Semper Solaris and called them after seeing one of their TV commercials. We gave them a call and they came out a few days later. After we had our pool put in, our energy costs with Edison continued to rise. We decided to look into solar options and decided that a lease did not make sense for us, and that a purchase was the way to go. We evaluated a few other companies and decided to go with semper Solaris because they have been in business a long time, they use quality American made products and offer a great warranty. The staff was very professional and helpful at every step of the process. Blake Lewow was our rep and after we met with him the first time we had questions here and there and he always answered our calls and texts messages right away. If you are planning on going solar or starting to look into it I recommend you meet with Semper Solaris and try to meet with Blake. He gave us more information than all the other companies we met with combined

Great Solar Company!

I've been wanting to go solar for a long time but never found the right company. I've had a ton of companies come knock on my door and they all seemed shady and I got a couple of solar quotes before from local companies in my area but they were so different from each other that I didn't know who to believe. After this summer's crazy heat though and my high electric bill I knew it was time to make a decision on going solar. I called up a friend of mine who worked in the solar business for a solar manufacturer and asked him who he recommended. He told me to call Trevor at Semper Solaris and that Trevor was one of the most knowledgeable people in the solar industry. I called him up and he helped me get my 12 month of energy usage from PGE. He showed me the shade analysis of my home and had me select which roof I wanted the panels on. He then explained to me the difference between cash, PPA and loan and I decided to go with a PPA. I needed to get some roof work done on my roof and they took care of the roof and solar for me. The whole process took about 60 days and it was super easy, everything Trevor told me they would do they did and the timelines and expectations he set from the beginning of the project were met almost to a T. I would definitely recommend Trevor and Semper Solaris to anyone thinking about going solar!

I interviewed 4 different companies to get a quote for going solar after getting a ridiculous SDG&E bill. I went with Genevieve at Siempre Solaris. She was the most professional person I spoke to. She explained everything to me in a way I that I could understand. The company kept me up to date in every aspect of the install with telephone calls and emails right up until the turn on date. The whole process took less time than they estimated I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Siempre Solaris. And thank you Genevieve!

Best Customer Service

Semper Solaris is the best when it comes to customer service. If you are military they truly honor our vets. We got a great deal for my husband's service and nothing but stellar service. They were on top of letting us know what the next step was and where we stand in the build out. After "interviewing" several other provides we decided on Semper Solaris just because of the customer service we received from Rhami Hasenin. He was very informative and went above and beyond to get us the best deal out there. If I could give them more stars I would.

Semper Solaris Install In Mira Mesa

Semper Solaris did a fantastic job from start to finish! Anela was fantastic. No-pressure sales! They assign a project manager who keeps you informed at every stage and handles all aspects of the install. Middle of the summer and we can run the A/C without worrying about SDG&E (still using it wisely though). Again can't recommend Semper enough!

Best Solar and Roof

My husband and I decided after numerous exorbitant SDG&E bills, to go solar. However, we also needed a new roof. Ideally, finding a company that did both was preferred but we were open to going with two separate companies. Our goal was to have a quality solar panel system, roof and warranty. We ultimately received estimates from four, top rated companies. Two of them were strictly solar and the other two did both solar and roof. One of the four, was Semper Solaris. Fortunate for us, Semper Solaris sent their sales rep, Chase Calkins. We were impressed from moment he walked thru the door. He was punctual, polite, sincere, conscientious, patient and personable. The more time we spent with him, his work ethic, integrity and honesty was apparent. Not once did we feel he was reciting from some sales script, rushed or pressure of any kind. His wealth of knowledge about the solar product was far superior. He explained everything thoroughly and answered every single question. He proficiently computated how much kWh’s we needed, cost and loan options at the appointment. Although Semper’s solar system and roof wasn’t the cheapest price, we recognized neither was its quality and depth of their warranty. We felt it was the best value overall. The decision to go with Semper Solaris was an easy one. Even after the sale, Chase checked in with us periodically to make sure we were kept apprised of the progress. Roof and solar installment went smoothly. The foremen, leads and installers were knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They were excellent in cleaning up the job site every day they were here. To our surprise, the solar was actually installed in one day! I highly recommend Chase and Semper Solaris to all my family, friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. SUPER happy with Semper Solaris

I chose Semper Solaris because my Son-in-law did research on solar companies; & he recommended them (if my son-in-law recommends someone, I know they are good or are a good value). In addition, they are veteran owned (Im retired Matine Corps); & they offered a $500 coupon (downloadable from their site) to military. My first contact with anyone from Semper Solaris was Genevieve. She was very informative and knew the product she was offering. She answered all our questions in a thorough manner. Next was the project manager (John Renteria); who kept us inform or the process and where everything was in that process. And finally, what an AWESOME job the install team of Garrett, Chris Y, & Miguel did in installing the panels, wiring, & all the conduit. To the breaker box. They arrived when they said they would, & installed the material in a quick & efficient manner. They answered all my questions (even though I’m sure they heard them a thousand times), & showed me how the system worked. Once the system was installed & approved by the inspector; Semper Solaris took care of everything that needed to be sent to SDG&E and John always kept us informed on where the process was & if there was anything we needed to do. Everyone we made contact with from Semper Solaris was very professional, friendly, & knowledgeable about their product. We are DEFINITELY looking forward to saving money, & not being tied to the high cost of electricity from SDG&E. We love our solar!

We were looking to add some additional solar panels to our house and didn't want to use the company that originally installed our system. I think I talked to 6 or 8 different companies before I was referred to Rhami Hasenin at Semper Solaris. Rhami was able to find a solution that has really worked great for us. Everyone else told us they wouldn't touch our house because we already had a system or the cost was just not affordable. Rhami gave us three options and we picked the one that fit our budget and meet our goals. They installed it quickly and we can't be happier. I've referred Rhami to several of my neighbors and they're in the process of installing solar panels now too. I highly recommend Rhami Hasenin at Semper Solaris.
