Job done right
After discovering our original installer had gone bankrupt, I contacted a few companies to replace a microinverter for us. Spoke with Jake about the issue and he was very helpful and told me exactly what they could do to help. When the two folks showed up to replace it, they were so nice and courteous and professional! They explained everything in a way I could follow and fixed an issue I was having in the app as well. Could not be happier that I have found them to help us along our journey to energy independence!

Outstanding People....!!!
This is our second homestead with a NorthTexasSolar system. We found the owners Tom and his then partner Spencer back in 2014 in Denton Tx and decided to install a 3K battery back up system in our barn. It went so well and we were so impressed that we installed a 5K battery system on our home in our same homestead. Tom, Spencer and Rich were all down to earth people and were willing to discuss the install and how the systems are designed to work. While they were installing the 5K system, I would invite them at the end of a hot day to enjoy a very cold beer that was cooled by the sun from our 3K barn system. We each got a kick out of that fact. The adult beverage seemed to task better because of that fact. In 2022, we moved from Denton to Aubrey and I immediately called Tom to install a system on our new home. This new system in a 12K SOL – ARK lithium battery back up with two 110 inverters that are combined to furnish 220V for our electric dryer; Nissan Leaf and our three Pool pumps and a deep water well; They additionally provide power to all our refrigerators and freezers; family room; kitchen; master bedroom and bath; garage; septic; house lights. One thing that I can not stress enough is the follow up if I had a question. Zack actually answers the phone on the weekend and is willing to work me through any issues. Speaking of issues…….. We were not getting the power that our system was producing and I called Zack. He promptly had Rich and Moses out and they found chewed wires from our resident squirrels. Even Tom himself stopped by to confirm that the software components were in good working condition. They ordered the necessary critter guard material and scheduled the install in a timely manner. All is done and I have attached two pics to show how professionally is looks. Save yourself some money in fixing the wires eaten by the critters and go for the critter guard at the time of install. It is one of those “pay me now or pay me later things” !!!!! If you are considering a solar system; It would be foolish not to give NorthTexasSolar a call, You will not be disappointed. They fix a bad installation form another company - Great
Here's an improved version of your text: --- North Texas Solar came to our house to fix a leak in our solar panels, which were installed by another company in 2021. We recently discovered that the original company had filed for bankruptcy. We found North Texas Solar online and were impressed by their reviews, which highlighted their excellent service and prompt assistance. They quickly accommodated us in their schedule and came over to diagnose the situation. Last year, the original installation company had attempted to fix the leak, but after a thorough inspection, North Texas Solar showed us pictures of the messy original installation. Flashings were never used on the brackets holding the panels, the sealer was not properly applied, and one of the bracket screws was not attached to any rafter on the roof—it just went through the roof, allowing water to come inside. North Texas Solar removed all the panels and brackets and reinstalled them using the correct technique, including flashings to prevent any leaks. Their work was impeccable, very quick, and their technicians were very knowledgeable. We now feel very comfortable knowing we have a company we can trust to service our solar panels in the years to come. It was shocking when we tried to contact the original company (located in San Antonio) and received no response, only to find out they had filed for bankruptcy. We highly recommend North Texas Solar for their quality of work, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

R&R and Panel Addition
About 8 months ago I had work done to remove and reset my solar panels after a storm damaged our roof. During that process I also chose to have new panels installed to adapt to changes in our energy consumption patterns due to our family growing in size. North Texas solar worked closely with us throughout this process and worked hard to make the process go as smooth as possible. If you're interested in solar, I highly recommend this company. It has been a great customer experience each time I've worked with this company.

Best Solar Company DFW/North Texas
If you are looking for a solar company that will support and walk you through the entire sales/installation process, North Texas Solar is the company. Do not go with ADT or others that come to your door. They are renting you a solar system and if you go to sell your property the solar system is not yours. It will be impossible. I had an existing solar edge system and was looking for someone to service it. Several companies would not help me since I already had a system. Jake from North Texas Solar answered 3 weeks of questions from me. I decided to have North Texas Solar update my current system to Emphase and added 15 additional panels, a total of 43 panels. The entire team is very knowledge and helpful. North Texas Solar did all the paperwork, HOA, and followed up with me during the entire process. In fact, since installation North Texas Solar has contacted me to make sure everything is working and I am happy. I am very glad I chose North Texas Solar and know they are there when I need them.

North Texas Solar provided excellent customer service, answering all our questions. Very happy we had our panels when energy prices jump to unexpected levels. Great company you will be disappointed.

Horrible Experience
I think solar is great and hopefully I’ll have decades of trouble free clean power. That said, my experience with North Texas Solar has been horrible. Two install dates were scheduled and canceled last minute due to lack of parts. Don’t schedule unless you have all the parts! When they did come, they had the wrong parts and said, “We'll be back later.” When finally replaced, they did not work (yet another install visit). How about testing equipment first? They damaged gutters and said they were already damaged (the gutters were 3 days old - brand new). After three weeks I arranged for the repair. They were smoking on the job site. They had to be reminded to wear masks (we provided). They left a junk pile on driveway that I carted off. They left rails sticking out beyond the roof line (neighborhood eyesore) and said we’ll be back to cut. Two weeks later they were mad that I called to have removed. They created a potentially fatal trip/fall issue by routing electric cables over attic access stairs (now relocated wiring). They installed electric boxes in a manner that did not meet code and then wanted to argue that it was fine because code didn’t make sense (boxes were relocated to meet code). Every issue I had they denied, deferred, and deflected. My advice – shop around.

Great Warranty Service
I had solar panels installed by North Texas Solar in 2018. A selling point for me was what seemed an excellent warranty. In March this year when my system quit reporting to Enphase, I found that the box where the Envoy (the device which reports your production and system status to Enphase) was mounted had filled with water and damaged the Envoy. Although the Envoy wasn't reporting, the panels continued to generate power so there was no hurry. I let Jake at North Texas Solar know about the problem and in a few days they came and installed a new water proof box and Envoy, all covered under their warranty as promised.

True Professionals
From first meeting for information and pricing to completion and follow-up of satisfaction - True Professionals! Honest assessment of what would be needed and total cost. Then, given comparison to current electric plan in order to make an informed decision if Solar was even a viable cost effective alternative. No stress. No sales pressure. Honest, knowledgeable, and personable representative. Installation crew was on time, introduced themselves, asked if I had any issues or questions and kept me informed throughout the installation. Great team, great product, and great service. Highly recommend!
