I’m a very particular and obsessive person when it comes to large purchases, so I shopped around a good bit before ending up with one of the best companies I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with - Longhorn Solar. Every sales person I interacted with was knowledgeable, passionate, and courteous at all times. What they told me matched up with what I’d researched 100% of the time, their pricing was more than competitive, and their flexibility in scheduling, payment, and installation was impeccable. The fact that they check in and will continually make sure your system is running up to par is just icing on the cake! Seriously, just use them. You won’t regret it.

I enjoy having little to no electricity bill every month. In the heat of the summer we kept our home so cool and our bill was 7 dollars! That's so amazing! The folks at Longhorn Solar made this possible!! Kathy made our installation go so smoothly and the whole process took less than a week!

We received honest data and an excellent product from Longhorn. The "Other Company" we had bidding on our installation quoted us a proce using panels from a bankrupt manufacturer. It is nearly 2 years and our system continues to produce as promised.

Came up short

I had my system for a year now. Despite not using more energy than the prior year, I'm still getting an electric bill. My system size was under estimated by at least 2kw. Not pleased that I made a significant investment that wont pay for it self for at least 10 years and still have to deal with electric bills.

Longhorn Solar installed my solar system in 2016 and now, two years, later I am still very happy to say what a wonderful decision it was. The folks at LS, and here I mean EVERYONE from the CEO, and affable chap by the name of Louis Petrik, right down to the technicians, the front/back office staff, the IT folks (who helped me with the app for my phone/table), to the construction staff . . . EVERYONE was a pleasure to work (and continue to) with. They are professionals in EVERY way. Solar panels

I had my solar panels installed several years ago and stiill rave about them. The quality is excellent, the installation work itself was quick and the result is amazing. The permit process took longer get than I expected, but not because of lack of effort on Longhorn's Solars part. I have had absolutely no trouble with the roof or panels, in spite of San Antonio winds, hurricanes, and hail. My return on investment was 3.5 years, one year earlier than projected by Longhorn Solar

Outstanding Service & Negative Electric Bills for Half the Year

I've been extremely pleased with the overall system that Longhorn Solar installed on my home and the cost savings it generates. On top of that, the service has been outstanding, any time I have a question even years after installation, they are happy to help and very thorough.

There were ZERO hidden costs and the regional manager checks in on a regular basis. The workmanship is superb and even I think the is an issue, they call or come by to fix it immediately! I literally have nothing but good things to say about this company!

Green savings

This was a smart choice. The solar panel system being finance at a low rate plus tax savings. The system is paying by itself. I’ve peace of mind of controlling electricity & not to worry about price fluctuations like before. The installation took half a day. The company took care of the paperwork & city permit. They also coordinated with the electric company to have a dual box. With the cell phone application you can see how much solar energy you are saving daily. Highly recommended.
