The ION Energy Consultant was very knowledgeable and provided a detailed description of the solar system installation. He did not try to convince me to buy, but gave me the information needed to make up my mind.

It took a little under 2 months between getting my initial quotes to having my system turned on. I had some issues with communication early on when they changed my project manager a couple times, but other than that it went smoothly. Lorrente M (my project manager) did a great job and was prompt about keeping me up to date and answering my questions. Mike M was very helpful in getting the system design I wanted and setting everything up initially. I'm happy with my overall experience.

Great service and expert install

We just had our solar panels installed today and they look great! The process was seamless and they were quick to deliver. I never had to call Ion, they always called me first and kept me in the loop. They had an app that allows you to track the progress through the installation. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the whole process was. We took the loan at 2.99% and 0 down and we look forward to being off the grid. We can now track the usage using our app, and the environmental impact was important to us as well. We have a warranty on the panels, which covers us for any damage caused by hail or heavy rain. The panels look great, very low profile and out of plain sight. We are very happy with the service, the product, and the experience.

Great with a small hiccup

Everything has been fantastic so far, with the exception of a design change to the layout of panels on our roof that has delayed our system getting turned on by a few weeks. Make sure the site assessment takes into account the location of the pipes and features on the roof. Other than that, service has been great. Can't wait to get our system up and running, especially as we head into June when our production potential will be at its greatest.

My first experience is my best experience

I partnered with the ION family. In every step of the process I had a resource to turn to when I had questions. Eddie took time to call me and explain the electrical interconnections and the flow of power from the array into the home. My concerns over construction details were addressed promptly from Doug. My personnel Project coordinator Jeff saw to every issue I saw promptly. I like most first time buyers are also last time buyers in that we only do solar once in our life time. My experience was exceptional.

Salesmen lie-LIEN ON HOME! DON'T GET SOLAR!

Yea, Solar panels are great. However what the scammy salesman say to get a sale is pathetic. I had William Creech at my door selling solar, and I liked the idea of it. They were pretty good with explaining panels, getting estimates etc.. When Will brought up the financing aspect of things, it all sounded great at first! Dividend solar would finance us at $60 per month and we would get a tax credit, and pay the$5k credit to Dividend or the payment would go up to $120 (12 year loan if I remember correctly). No big deal, until I mentioned that we hadn't planned on living in this home for that much longer, we needed something bigger as we wanted to start a family. William assured me that the solar panels were GREAT SELLING POINTS AND WOULD RAISE OUR HOME VALUE! We could sell the home with the panels- blah blah--ok yea the new buyers of my home LOVED them, it sold quick! Until we go to close on our home and they stuck a LIEN ON MY PROPERTY! I COULD NOT SELL MY HOME WITHOUT PAYING THE FULL LOAN OFF-- because what Will also failed to tell me was the payments I HAD been making were INTEREST ONLY. DO NOT GET PANELS IF YOU EVER WANT TO MOVE! I had made it CLEAR to ion solar that we intended on moving. No, its not ions fault that it happened to me, but dividend is getting some major negative reviews as well.. My problem is the lack of knowledge or lack of ethics to not tell customers a UCC lien would be stuck on the home while you have a loan. SAVE YOURSELF SOME HEARTACHE and buy them cash-- or just pay your damn electric bill. 17-18k goes a long way.

Very polite and professional

From the very start, when they knocked on our door to talk about solar energy, everyone has been very polite and professional. From the initial visit to a follow up visit to installation, everyone explained what was happening and answered any and all questions we had. We are very pleased with their service.

ION Solar is a great company

Most of the people I worked with was great. Brian, sales rep: He was awesome. Always available to answer questions. Very helpful. Recommended him to 2 friends. Installation crew (Joe, Sean, Eddie): They were great. Very efficient. Cleaned up everything. Explained the process along the way. Project Manager (Derin): Not so good of an experience. Did not always contact me when she said she would. When contacting me did not use the phone number I had provided but called the secondary number. Did not follow up with my HOA before the installation.

Ion Solar was very easy to work with!

We chose Ion solar because we felt they were providing an excellent product. Our project manager, Erik Jackson was always available to answer any questions we had and was excellent with communicating with us during the project. The whole process with Ion Solar was easy!

To date. ION Solar has provided me and my family with the upmost courtesy and professionalism. The 'A-Team' Michelle, John, Cody and Marcus came to my house and installed 28 panels on my roof and let me tell you, they were flawless in their ability to work together to get the job done. Bravo!

Customer service

Excellent customer service and complete follow through with the staff at ION Solar. System looks real good, waiting for power company to install meter and start making electricity. Project manager keeps a close eye on progress and keeps you informed. There are other entities involved in the process but the manager deals with them. Great company.
