I chose to work with Ion Solar solely off the presentation, conversation, knowledge, and assistance of my Ion Representative, Dwayne. His knowledge base is astounding and should be utilized as the standard for Ion Solar representatives. Dwayne’s ability to blend professionalism and personality is pure skill. He’s not only a representative of the company, he’s proud to say he’s also a client. That belief and his team’s professionalism allowed my family and me to make the decision to choose Ion Solar and Palmetto as our solar provider. I wish I had 2 more hands to give Ion Solar 4 thumbs up! I was apprehensive to get a photovoltaic system but with the price of NV Energy constantly on the rise it made sense to make the switch. I’ve had my panels for about 3 years. I’ve had zero problems with my system. Zero. Ion was super communicative and the install was painless and easy. Their install crew was very professional and friendly. I’ve had to call customer service about 2 months ago because the pigeon guard they installed wasn’t guarding the pigeons. I called on a Wednesday, a crew was out 2 days later on Friday and pigeons were gone by Saturday. Can’t recommend them enough!

Decided to go solar

We had considered the idea since we moved, but we had never gotten any information from a trusted source. Eventually we had someone knock on our door and explained the basics to us. We were initially apprehensive since we normally look online if we need work done, but we figured worst case scenario we lose 20 minutes. I normally hate dealing with sales people at my job, but Randor ended up being such an easy person to work with. He was obviously knowledgeable about the more technical stuff in solar and did an awesome job explaining the process. He left his number with us the day we signed up, and although we haven't had any issues with the solar, he has always replied to me very quickly (almost concerningly so) when I had questions. Overall it has been a wonderful experience, and I'm extremely happy with my solar panels.

Site Survey is real - not a rubber stamp

The sales process was very informative. Everything they told us checked out. Our house was "targeted" for a sales effort from google maps data showing sun exposure on roof tops. We were going to do the "Power Purchase" arrangement which is like a lease. It includes a 90% power production guarantee. The site survey found that our 1972 breaker panel was rated for 150amps, and 200amps is needed. We opted to cancel our solar project for now (the company offered to replace the panel at their cost) - but will be upgrading our breaker panel soon.

Elijah was very professional. Showed up on time, answered all of my questions. Didn’t make me feel like he was selling me, it was more of a conversation. Took the time to address all of my doubts. And now the panels are on my house and look great! I would highly recommend Elijah and Ion Solar

Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with ION. The sales rep was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I got updated during the permitting process while the company took care of the permits and approvals for me. I was installed right around the 30 day mark after signing. I’m seeing $18 power bills as promised. I would definitely recommend going solar in Vegas instead of paying an increasing NV Energy bill and specifically ION.

We had such a great experience working with Ion Solar, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about our sales rep, Joe. From the very beginning, Joe made the entire process feel easy and most importantly trustworthy. That was huge for me because going solar felt like a big, intimidating decision at first. They delivered on everything that they promised. From the start when we met with Joe Pickens to the installation which was completed by Ruben’s crew we were impressed with their knowledge and service. We installed a 12kw system (signed on December 16th and installed on January 18th) and it was just turned on last week. Super smooth! They delivered as promised!!

Super Easy

I don’t usually write reviews, but Ion Solar definitely earned this one. Someone from their team first knocked on my door and explained what they were doing in the neighborhood. They were super polite, not pushy at all, literally just explained how the process would work and if I was interested. A few days later, their specialist came by to walk me through the details, showed me the savings, and answered every question I had (which was a lot). Everything made sense financially, and there was zero pressure to make a quick decision. The savings were so good that there was no reason to wait! Once I decided to move forward, the whole process was impressively smooth. The communication was great. They kept me updated at every step, handled all the paperwork, and the install was done shortly after no complications. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything before they left. Everything from the initial interaction at my front door to the install was exactly how they said it would go. The panels look great, better than I ever thought they would and my first month’s electric bill is already way lower than before. Easy, Fast, Honest — Highly Recommend

I had several companies assess my home for solar panels and batteries. I owned solar in another state and knew exactly what I wanted. I chose ION for a few reasons: no subcontractors, American-made equipment, and they took care of everything! Great communication throughout the process and after installation. My project manager was always responsive and made sure I understood my options and what to expect.

We had a great experience with ION Solar. They took care of all the paperwork with the energy company, the city, and our HOA so we didn't have to. They weren't pushy, which is a quite different than a lot of other people that approached us. The installation went really fast. We're happy with our choice to go with them.
