So far, working with ION has been a great experience. I was a little hesitant about going solar at first but the folks at ION took the time to walk me through the process at various steps. If you are considering going solar than I would highly recommend ION Solar!

They handled everything from start to finish and I did not have to do anything. The ability to monitor my solar output has been fantastic. They even provided ways to cut down my power usage to save even more. Overall a wonderful experience.

Made it Easy & Clear

Just finished the process with ION Solar. It went well and no major hiccups occurred at all. It took a little longer than I initially expected but I am satisfied with the care and attention we received. It was very easy to work with Daniel Blankenship, our initial salesman and he was very upfront about how things work and did not feel like a salesman. He was polite and considerate of our time as we had at the moment of first meeting him gone through a very trying car accident. I definitely would recommend working with them if you have considered getting Solar and Dan will definitely get you taken care of.

The Ion Solar Difference

When I agreed to meet with Ion Solar representative Robert Abeyta, I had no intent to purchase anytime soon and prepared for a pushy sales person. To my surprise Robert was very personable, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had and provide any additional information needed. Robert spent close to three hours with me to which I admit had flown by and at the end had a signed contract and a new customer. In no time at all Ion Solar sent out people to draw up the design for my home and inspect that it would work correctly. After signing off on the design Ion Solar began the process of getting all the approvals and licenses needed to install and run the system. Before I knew it the install team was at my residence and getting the job done. The install took about four hours and looked perfect after they finished. The solar panels were all laid flush and the equipment all matched so there wasn't anything to really draw the eye to the roof. No wires were left showing and everything was tidy and sealed properly. The crew cleaned the area to leave it better than they found it and vacuumed the area were they made access into the attic. I downloaded the recommended app on my phone and was able to track everything going on during the process along with track my solar system after the installation. Anytime I called I was given prompt answers and Ion Solar kept me up to date on everything going on.

Our experience with ION has been fantastic. The panels were installed much sooner than what was estimated and the team who installed were top notch. Appreciate all the check in calls as I it is nice to stay up to date with all. The app also helped regarding the whole installation process. They are now fully functional and we are excited to see how much they produce.

Unorganized

I was very disappointed in this whole process starting from the beginning. I got called everyday wanting to install and I request a rep to call me back but answer a few questions which no one could answer for some reason. Then when I was ready to go with the the install, I requested ION call my wife because I work long hours 6am-6pm and she would be home during the install. I specifically requested ION call my wife from 9am-3pm because she works in the evening and ION immediately called her at like 5pm-6pm to install which then she text me from work telling me to deal with it. Then on the install day the electrician didn't show up!?!?! A few days later the electrician shows up but couldn't finish the job because of parts and ION support was closed because it was so late and I believe he came back again and told my wife he still wasn't done? On top of that, I received at least 10 emails telling me to complete an install survey which I don't even thinks complete. Then I was told to take picture of anything that's not complete? How was I suppose to know that??? What a horrible experience.

Awesome Customer Service

I highly recommend Ion Solar to anyone who is looking into getting solar for their home. I had a great experience since the beginning when the sales person knocked on my door, to the awesome team who kept me up to date on the installation progress from beginning to end. And when there were ever questions that needed to be answered no matter if it was through an email or a phone call Ion Solar was always quick to respond or contact me at a later time.

Scheduling dept. needs work

The sales dept. did a fantastic job of explaining the process and monitoring the progress of our project right up until it was passed to the scheduling dept. for installation. That is when everything went wrong. We scheduled a day for install, got the confirmation for that date and then no one showed up. We were told the installer couldn't do it that day and that they had rescheduled us for another day, but no one had bothered to tell us. When we were transferred to reschedule, they continued to insinuate that we were never scheduled for our original date and asked twice why we were changing our install date. When we finally got the panels installed we made an appointment for inspection, except no one ever showed up during the time frame we were given. When we called they told us that we were scheduled for the afternoon timeframe not the morning, despite the email we received saying it was the morning timeframe. And lastly, we received an email from Cody Hopkins saying that the power company would be coming to change out our meter sometime during the week. I immediately called Cody to see if we could pin down a more specific time, since we didn't want our power disconnected while our son was taking an online exam or my husband was conducting a virtual meeting. We got no response. He never replied and three days later, exactly what we were trying to avoid happened. The power company came and without even letting us know they were there, shut off our power to swap the meters. My husband got booted from his meeting and our son got kicked out of his class in the middle of working on an assignment. Later that day when we called ION to see if we were ready to turn the system on, they said they had no idea when the meters would be swapped out. There seems to be a serious lack of communication between ION and the inspectors and the power company in the final stages of the project. I feel like this is a serious shortfall, as it makes it look like all ION cares about is getting the contract and then sort of drops their customer service.

ION Solar did a great job installing my system, and were very fastidious at communicating with me along every step of the process. I highly recommend ION Solar to anyone wanting to produce their own power.

The process of applying for and getting solar panels was easy with ION. Every member of their team is knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to any questions I had. I felt confident throughout the entire process and would recommend ION to anyone that is considering solar for their home.

I chose ION based upon my neighbor's recommendation. She had ION install solar on her house approximately 2 years ago. Had nothing but good to say about them. Every person I've dealt with has been thorough, and explained everything so I could understand it. Very friendly and professional. Awesome company to work with. ION is great

Being from CA and going through solar in CA, I wanted nothing to do with solar in CO. However, after spending time with Jason Dashiell, an ION rep, I began to believe again in solar. Jason spent about an hour with my wife and I tackling every issue we had experienced in CA and explaining to us with evidence why we were not going to experience what we did in CA and how the solar program is really better in CO. ION takes you through the entire process one step at a time which made me feel like the ION team were all in it to make sure the experience and service were the best for me and my family. The install only took a day and the installers were very professional, even picked up trash around my home, leaving the home better than how they found it. The panels look great and I can’t wait for the next step to activate the panels. If you are looking for a professional and quality solar company, than ION is for you. If you are looking for a professional and customer service oriented solar sales rep than you need to work with Jason Dashiell.

Ion is by far the worst company ever

My wife is currently battling with her bank right now, Ion solar pulled out 3 thousand dollars and they are currently lying about it. Worst company ever.
