The entire process from initial presentation through installation of the panels has been very smooth. Sean was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Installers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. I am glad I went with ION Solar.

I had already made up my mind with going solar before speaking with him but he made it more convincing without a doubt. The installation process was timely and ahead of the projected timeline. Outstanding service overall!

Everything about the process has been phenomenal. Our sales rep, Jarrell Chandler, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. No pressure at all during the process, Jarrell throughly addressed all of our questions and concerns. The install team was equally phenomenal. Keith the team lead was incredibly professional and made sure I was tracking everything that was going on. His teams electrician, Najiv, was amazing and kept me informed of everything going on and explained the entire system to me. Overall I was impressed with the professionalism of the entire Ion tram. They made it incredibly easy to work with them and I would recommend them to anyone

My wife and I met with Jon, from ION Solar to get more information on Solar. We thought it was too expensive and unobtainable and all the other myths you hear regarding solar but with the recent rise of our energy bills we decided to have Jon inform us about the benefits and facts of doing Solar. To our surprise, we will pay less than what we currently pay for energy bill alone. The experience from the sit down with Jon to the installation of the panels was superb - They took care of everything!! We truly recommend ION Solar and Jon to anyone thinking, wanting, or looking into saving on their energy bill and going GREEN along with receiving great service. Can’t wait to see our first energy bill! Thanks again ION Solar and Jon!

Not impressed

I started this project last year in June of 2022. I was told it would be done before the end of the year. I wanted a unground system not roof. Very expensive. I was finally called in February that my papers for loan were up March 19 2023. I told them I wasn’t signing new ones. So they extended 2 months. A guy showed up to do trenching in early march and walked off and didn’t do anything. Turns out they had to go over buried electrical line. They totally redesigned. So this week they did trenching and ran over sprinkler system and timing wires. They said they would work out a solution and call me with it and to ask the trencher for a quote. He said he wasn’t licensed for that and homeowners usually do it themselves. I got a quote myself and called them multiple times with this information no response. No call back. Very disappointed

From start to finish, Ion has been amazing for our solar. They’re straightforward, friendly, and communicate every single step of the way. Highly recommend!!

DON'T DO IT!

These people force you to sign 4 contracts, refuse to give you a copy when you sign, then tell you you sould have read it better. They say they'll cover you until it works with payments, then send you to collection. They work with credit people SO bad, they don't even work with them anymore, and you are stuck with an off-shore payment to who knows who. They send 3 texts with different information on the same step. NOONE there knows what they are doing, andd the salesmen lie. The only decent service was with the actual installers-they were gold-EVERYTHING ELSE about this company sucks!! The last slap? YOU have to hook up your own system to get it to work!! The questions below and the lack of answers tell you exactly how little the sales people tell you. I don't know anything about my system, and I hate this company with the passion of a white hot sun! I am suing them in court to get my 800 credit score back!

No response from company. Very high electric bill

I've been trying to get a hold of someone to help me with my very expensive electric bill. Tate refuses to have their supervisor contact me. I've also asked Ellis to help me but literally Noone gives a crap! You all got your money from me and you're done!

Ion Solar made the process of obtaining/installing solar panels as easy as possible. Great sales rep, great support team, great install team, great customer service, and great everything.

Very good experience with the team that came out. Talked to me about the whole process. Educated me with what was installed. Picked up the trash and supplies they had used during the installation. Overall a great experience and very satisfied with the installation. Just waiting for the city to check the work and give me the go to turn on the power to the panels

We DO NOT recommend Ion Solar

0/5 - Salesperson (Enrique Guzman) 3/5 - Project coordinator (Thomas Nevin) 5/5 - Installation team 2/5 - Overall communication ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TL;DR - Enrique Guzman (sales) promised incentives but did not deliver on these incentives until I reached out to corporate to complain 60+ days after panel installation. Enrique also misled us on PGE billing after installation (details below). Project team was helpful. Installation team was courteous and respectful. Overall comms were pretty messy. Our interaction with Ion Solar started in Nov’2022 with a D2D sales rep knocking on our door to pique our interest in solar. From there, we scheduled an appointment with their salesperson Enrique Guzman. Enrique showed up and presented us the “potential savings” of installing solar and how it will essentially pay for itself as it will offset our electric bill entirely. He also mentioned that we would be put on a 12-month billing cycle with PGE after installation. Neither of these points turned out to be true. I asked a good friend of mine if he would be interested in going in on solar together to see if we can get a better deal from Enrique. Enrique offered us each a $1,000 check and $300 Nike/HOKA gift cards to be sent upon installation if we signed up with him. We thought it was a good deal so we both signed up. Mind you, these incentives were verbal agreements; none of this was on paper. Fast forward to Jan’2023, panels are installed. My friend and I reached out to Enrique Guzman for the promised incentives and were both met with a short “yup on it”. This went on for 30+ days. We would reach out to check on the progress of these incentives and Enrique would either send a “will these sent out ASAP” or straight up ghost us. Having been fed up, we reach out to Ion Solar corporate. Thomas Nevins hears our story and sends an email out to Enrique and cc’ing us both on it. Enrique Guzman responds to the email with a “yup on it”. To our surprise, we received the $1,000 via Zelle a week later. However, the $300 Nike/HOKA gift cards were still nowhere to be found. At this point, we’re 60+ days past installation and we were still missing the last half of our promised incentives. So I finally submitted my post-installation survey, giving them a score of 1/10. Enrique IMMEDIATELY responds by sending both my friend and I the promised $300 gift cards. Why did it have to take so long and so many different parties to get Enrique Guzman to fulfill his promise to us? Furthermore, why did he have to lie to us about the 12-month billing cycle? This was a complete bait-and-switch. Had we known that he was going to treat us like this after signing, we would NEVER have signed with Ion Solar. And to be honest, both my friend and I are struggling with buyer’s remorse after this experience. We would NOT recommend Ion Solar.

Process took less than 3 months!

Mariana, our sales rep was awesome and very informative. Permits were handled quickly and installation happened without delays. Overall the process took less than 3 months.

After speaking with several solar companies I decided to go with ION Solar. I received periodic updates about the project which was great. Install day went very smoothly and the installers were great!

Very Impressive Company

Dean Rolle and his team were extremely helpful and professional from beginning to end. The process was a lot simpler than I expected, and I have already started sharing my experience with my friends and family. The ION team was prompt and professional, and the installation was quick. I am excited about my new solar installation and look forward to referring my friends and family to Dean and the ION team.

ION Exceeded our Expectations

We knew when we moved to Las Vegas that it'd be an ideal location to have solar installed on our home. That said, we didn't know much about it and were a bit intimidated at the thought of having to shop around. When ION showed up at our door we were eager to learn how they could help us but didn't want to commit until we received several quotes from other companies. Once we had a few quotes, it was very clear that ION stood well above other companies in every way. ION was more professional, had a better product, and had the best price. Overall, we felt well taken care of and had all our questions answered along the way. ION made it easy from start to finish. We're beyond satisfied with the value we received.
