My experience working with Brandon Baird was great. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He made it very easy for me to make a decision to go solar. I have recommended Brandon to a close friend and will also recommend him to family members.

Solar made easy

I was recommended by a co-worker to Ion solar. The whole process has been easy. I love the app that keeps you updated . My sales rep Cody was friendly and helpful with a no pressure sales approach.

The Absolute Worst

Had a salesman come to the door and convinced me regarding solar. Just a few of the things the salesman quoted - would get a 12500 rebate (not true you only get a tax credit against your liabilities). Payment would stay the same on solar - again not true but still getting letters from loan company saying pay the loan down with the 12500 credit that doesn't exist so payment went up. Electric bill the first few months was higher than I ever paid before. Salesman quit before system was installed so no option there to go back on what he told me. Stated it would be easy to sell my house with solar - well no one wants to take on a 42K loan so basically if I want to sell I have to pay off the loan and new owner gets basically a 50 dollar electric bill while I get stuck with the loan. I have reported to Attorney General and Better Business bureau but all they said was you signed the contract.

The team was awesome and very professional. The install went smoothly!

Solar Panel Installation

The crew from Ion solar was friendly and efficient. They were done in a timely manner and it looks great. When I asked any questions, they were more than willing to answer them. I appreciate a company that has employees that are kind and do quality work.

First Solar in Neighborhood

We are the first one got approved by our HOA that i believe will open a floodgate of solar installation in Lorton Village. Also we are lucky to have ION Solar as our vendor, from installer, electrician. Sales and support team, each person i interact with are all far exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic service and great crews all around. From Bryce, Kiel, and Frankie we had a seamless experience. Highly recommend ION

Satisfied ION customer

The decision to install solar panels on my house did not come lightly, considering all foreseen and unforeseen circumstances. I will say though, from the very first knock on the door from Jamie, I was interested. Jamie was kind enough to get me all set up with a sales rep, Matt Spence. Both Jamie and Matt were very professional, passionate about their job, and both were very helpful with getting me started. Matt has ensured that the process has continued to move along as needed and has followed up the entire time, leaving me content with the purchase. The process of getting solar panels installed began in February 2024 and was completed by August 2024. I did have to get a new roof on my home which delayed the installation by a couple of weeks, but it did not cause any disturbances or troubles for me. The entire process has been painless, as ION employees take care of everything and keep in constant communication. I am very pleased with the way the solar panels look on my house and look forward to reaping all the benefits of switching to solar energy. I am very thankful to all the staff members from ION that have assisted in the process: Jamie (set up sales mtg), Matt (sales rep), Nick Taylor (inspector), Ryan (installer).

Super flexible with my schedule, always available for any questions, and very informative.

PRE INSTALLATION

I have no inch of regret that I chose ION Solar. All of my skepticism was erased with the way they handle business and their Operations. They are very professional and Efficient. Their customer service and Communication is Excellent. My Solar panels are operational and I am very satisfied. Ron Tormolan, my Customer Service Rep was with me from Start to finish, he never failed me. Not even once. When I call, he picks up. He answers all my questions, helps me with whatever assistance I need. Gives me information that I need and/ or would let a Department team call me if it's a specialized area. He even walked me through setting up APPS on my phone/laptop. Ron is Excellent. He erased all my doubts and skepticism.

They made the process so easy

From our initial consultation to the finished operational solar system, ION was just great. They were professional and completely forthcoming at every stage. We most appreciated their constant communication throughout. Can't say enough good things about this company.

Fast and easy!

Commiunication

Ion is great to work with. They keep in touch every step of the way. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend them, especially my sales guy McDaniel Purdy. He went out of his way to be helpful great guy! If you are thinking of solar, go with these guys

Incredibly happy!

I cannot begin to express how grateful to have worked with everyone at ION Solar! Yahya was the one who first came to speak with me, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was able to truly connect with me and gave me peace of mind for everyone else that I would be meeting. Michael Shafer was the one who came to actually go over all the details about the solar panel installation, and he was incredible at explaining everything clearly and succinctly without being at all confusing. You can tell he truly cares about what he is selling, he was able to show me his own personal experience with his own solar panels. We just recently had our solar panels installed, and even the installation process was simple and easy, and I was extremely impressed with the work ethic of the employees doing the install. All in all, I can’t recommend them all enough! Thanks ION Solar!
