The Sales Rep we had was amazing, not pushy had so much knowledge on how the utility rates with SRP work! His name was Parker so if you have the option get him! The entire process was seamless! The best part was the communication as each stage was completed, from, interconnection application to the design confirmation to the permitting, and installation! The Crew was so nice and did a great job! Left like they were never even there, other than the panels on the roof! Can’t say enough about my experience!

If I could give them a Zero, I would. The salesperson appeared to understand what we wanted. Team lead/Contractor also appeared to understand what we want. They did not, the install was not what we requested, and now we are fighting with them to fix it. They want us to pay for their error. The next step will be to contact a lawyer, if this is not resolved.

We got solar in July our sales person was a friend. Unfortunately we trusted what he said and never thought we would have been deceived. He told us with the amount of panels he advised us to get we would have a zero electric bill from our electric company. Mind you that has never happened not even close . At first we discussed a $150 payment for solar when it came down to it with the panels he advised our payment was $225. Plus our $400 electric bill it just kept going every month. Every month he blamed Our electric company and said he didn’t know why it wasn’t zero he even offered to pay for more panels which he never did. Another thing the day we had it installed they did something to the roof I’m not sure or to a drain but it poured rain 30 minutes after they were done and it pored into my sons room all over his bed. I took video and pictures sent it to them he told me he was so sorry they would replace the bed . They never did after months the general manager sent a message to him saying it wasn’t caused by solar guys so they weren’t responsible.!!! After months of being told they would replace his bed. Today I went to do our taxes and was just made aware that if we don’t apply out tax return towards the solar our payment goes up almost $100 this was never made aware to us. I know we signed the contract but he was our friend he didn’t tell us this he just said sign here here here and here. All along playing us for fools I have all the text messsages saying he doesn’t understand what’s going on and he is fighting for us. Beware of this company and beware of friends that work for this company.

I put solar on my home with Icon and the operations team did an excellent job overall. We installed a battery system plus solar. Really pleased with the execution across the board and I'm happy with the entire system. There are a lot of pop up solar companies, so working with someone who was local with a great track record was important. I work for Icon Power but am a customer as well.

Sold us lies. They installed panels on our flat roof that inclines slightly north so we loose so much potential power. They also installed under trees even though I complained about the design. They made it as cheap and easy on themselves as possible. Without the battery, and no net metering (exchanging excess solar for electricity at night) we have to produce SEVEN TIMES the amount we use to eliminate our electric bill. Solar buy back is a SCAM! Their solution to producing less than half the average is 'wait a year'. Some panels produce less than 0.5kwh per day (expected to produce 1-3kwh). We paid $34000 to save $10 a month on our bill. Worst financial decision of my life.

Poor quality inverters. 3 of them replaced in one year. Not acceptable

My wife and I decided to go with Icon Power for a Solar and Tesla Power Wall system back in March of 2023. What sold us on the system was several factors: • Their positive reviews online. • The promise of an app that would keep us up to date on the entire process status. • The promise we could monitor the system ourself once fully installed. • The promise of a local contact and crew that focused on customer service, along with one vendor for the entire system. • The onsite review, and contract for a system sized at 8kwh of power. The entire process was quite fast and took around 3 months. There were several issues along the way that were stressful. Such as: • Never receiving the app to track the process. • Not receiving invoices, but then getting calls that our payments were late. • Poor communication from Icon Power on when they would be doing the work. • Not receiving any follow-up when we requested to be contacted. • Along with SRP failing to approve the operation of the system on two separate occasions. • The system installed is not what we agreed to. Icon Power changed the plans without our knowledge or consent that prevents us from monitoring the system we were promised. The problems only continued to happen after the system was finally approved by SRP. We have not come close to producing the 8kwn of power that we were told to expect. Also, we cannot monitor the system the way we were originally promised. We finally opened a support ticket to get some of the issues resolved. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear back on all the open issues.

We have been using this system for a year now. System does not save any money. When the REP came over did the calculation and quoted cost for the system is $18000.00 cash and $30,000.00 if payment and we would not pay the high electric bill. The REP stated if we go with the system we would have to pay about $20 to $35 a month and we did it and paid cash. So far in the last 12 months, we got 1 month credit $9.00 and one month credit $39.00 and the rest of the months we have to pay lots of money to Tucson Electric Power company. And this bill for this month we have to pay $177.00 just $20.00 lest than this month a year ago when we do not have the system. So we spent $18000.00 for nothing. It doesn’t save you any money. So if you want to go with solar system, I would suggest you think not twice but have to think deeply. Solar does not save you money.

Kevin Kennedy was fantastic from start to finish! He was very professional and polite and he answered all of our questions. Kevin provided an excellent proposal that listed the details for our system in an easy to read format. I highly recommend Kevin Kennedy and Icon Power. The installation team was also excellent. Drew came out and worked with us from start to finish. He was patient and took the time to answer our questions. He checked-in throughout the entire process to keep us informed of what was going on. He also, was prompt in helping keep the process moving once our panels were installed to insure all the inspections were done as quickly ad smoothly as possible. Thank you!

We added a pretty complex solar and battery system to our home in Tucson. We really valued Icon's process, expertise, and experience with something like this. They exceeded expectations on their service and operational side. The solar and battery crews were professional, on time, and communicated very well. Highly recommend them!

We recently had solar panels and related equipment installed by Icon Power and so far it has been a very good experience. Mr. Aaron Judd was a pleasure to work with and clearly spelled out the many details a homeowner needs to know in order to make the choice to go solar. He was low key, no pressure and is very responsive and knowledgeable. The company was on schedule but regulatory approvals took a surprising amount of time before we could start the system.

This was a great experience on going solar for my manufactured home in Marana. Andrew Humphreys came to our home and talked with us for almost 2 hours (long after regular work hours), covering everything and getting us the best deal possible. He answered all of our questions and showed us demos on the different possibilities of installation for our home (even coming up with the solution that, due our home location and configuration, it would best to mount the panels on the ground rather than on the roof so they would produce the most power. (I hadn't thought of this but is very important if your home's situation or roof configuration doesn't provide full exposure to the sun, thus reducing the output of the solar panels. Andrew was insistant that the panels be placed where they would produce at least 100%.). Andrew had all the materials and information needed available with him, and as mentioned, he was able to answer all of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of solar installation. The best thing is that Icon Power covers all costs, including line running and replacing the house power panel (which we need to do due to the age of our home). Plus, he could show us aerial pictures of our home including the possible panel locations. (So cool!) We are retired and on fixed income and Andrew got us the best rate. All of the "paperwork" (electronic processing) was done on the spot, and he provided us with all the timing estimates for when we can expect our solar system to be completed. He got us the best price, and covered all tax and other cost incentives, with no up-front or "gotcha" costs. Andrew is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the products and options, how solar installations work, and, along with Omar on the other end of the electronic transactions, did a wonderful job getting us set up with a solar system that is designed accurately for our home and at a great price. I highly recommend that, if you in the Tucson area, you contact Icon Solar, Andrew, and Omar for the best possible experience. (NOTE: This review is based on our initial contact and experience with our agreement for installation. No installation has been done yet so we can't speak to installation or performance issues at this time.)

Having shown interest in solar power for our home, my wife and I met with Jason Ruona and Craig Donovan to get information on what solar power was all about. Our discussions were honest, very informative and personally enjoyable. We learned about the workings of solar power and the financial aspect of the investment in our home without feeling pressured. Jason and Craig are two very professional and knowledgeable gentlemen in their field.

All expectations were met. Smooth process. Would recommend them to others.

We made a mistake at first thinking that the roof on my man cave would be up to code but it wasn't so we had to reconfigure that took time. But the team come out and installed my array on the ground and did one heck of a job and then of course it took forever for power company to do their part but now I am up and running.

Well as far as I’m concerned solar companies are consumer fraud businesses! My personal experience has and still is a nightmare and I have lost patience and a lot of money dealing with this “business “. Communication is nonexistent and when you get information it’s not clear and basically says the city or electric company needs to approve. Do yourself a favor and ignore solar ads. I wish I had.

Got three bids and they were in the mid range. John R was very knowledgable and professional. Day of install was smooth and installers were clean and polite. Seeing exactly the savings John R spelled out for us. Very please with this company and will recommend to anyone.

Getting solar always comes with questions. Kevin is always quick to answer any question I had or send the help he knew I needed.

The sales rep was detailed, the installation crew were accommodating to my wishes, and follow up has been perfect.

Very happy that I chose to go solar with Icon Power. Not only did they offer the best pricing for the highest premium quality panels, they were very professional throughout the entire process from start to finish. They were very upfront and honest, and designed a system that would offset a little over 100% of my average yearly usage. They did everything in their power to get my system installed and up and running as fast as possible. I love the monitoring app which shows me the current, daily, weekly and monthly production of my system. Haven't paid more than the connection fee to NV Energy since going solar!

Sales rep did an excellent job of explaining the system, options, and no high pressure sales pitch

The Installers were good, on time and finished the job in two days. Just don't know how long it will take to get the inspector's OK or hooked up since our sales rep, Kurt Killian seems to have dropped the ball. So, we will probably have the solar panels removed since they aren't any good without the hook up.

Jeff, was our sales representative. He was very detailed & answered all our questions. I would highly recommend Jeff, as a representative for all your solar needs. We are saving so much. Best decision we ever made.

After interviewing more than a dozen solar seller/installer and lots of research over a year's time, ICON was THE one for me. The product is the best value, the salesman (Gentry) was patient and a 'no pressure' kind of guy. The panels use German technology which I believe is top notch.
