Great Company to Work With

Everyone I've been involved with during this installation has been wonderful. Especially Chris and David, my installers. The weather was not our friend to start out with, and they got cold and soaking wet in their attempt to get done as much as they could in that kind of weather. I'm excited to start using my solar panels as soon as my utility company comes to change out my meter! Thanks to all involved! /UPDATE/ We've had some sunny days since I started using my panels and I got my first credit on my utility bill. Even though it was small to start with, it's so nice to have a utility bill under $10! Expecting better as the sun shines!

Great experience

Great experience! They walked me through every step of the way. They set up all the permits and walk through's, all I had to do was sign. It was a great price and my power bill was nothing on the first month active. The whole team worked very well.

Corpus Christi Installation

The process was so easy. The project manager was efficient and moved the project very quickly. From the very first contact to the end of the installation I was very pleased with everything. Have not seen as great of a savings as I would have liked, but ever since the installation CC has been cloudy. Now with the sun back at full intensity, I fully expect to see a greater savings.

Good experience

The techs were very friendly and timely, they allowed very knowledgeable. They were able to explain everything so I could understand it. My only issue was that they left behind tools and materials that they had to return three times to retrieve.

New solar installation.

I am really happy I purchased the solar system. My only concern is if I purchased a large enough system to cover my electricity use. My air conditioner has not run very much, and I still use more electricity than I generate. I was instructed by the sales person that the 20 year warranty would also cover undersized systems, I feel very confident I made a wise decision.

Great Experience with Green Solar

Great Experience with Green Solar Everyone involved was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, technically competent. They were able to explain what was needed and what they were doing in terms simple enough for my wife and me to understand. They were fast, efficient and competent. It took our $200.00 to $250.00 monthly electric bill and made it go away. We still have the mortgage on the panels, but that payment is less than ¼ of the old bill. I would definitely recommend any home owner to get in contact with Green Solar. Come to think of it, if I had any rental properties, I would consider getting solar panels for them. Saves on electric bills and is a selling point for prospective tenants.

Going Green with Solar

For a few years now, my husband and I tried to find a company that would sell and install solar panels for our home. Not one company would return our call. Eventually, I found an ad on Facebook for Green Solar Technologies...and they called us back! Dennis Boyce was our agent, and he did an EXCELLENT job answering all of our questions and finally getting our panels installed. We are absolutely thrilled to be that house in the neighborhood that--will hopefully--set a positive example on being more energy efficient.

Don’t do it- stay with a local company

Using an out of state company (Green Solar Technologies) who assured a solar panel system would lower my utility costs and was affordable at the same time due to the local utility company and federal tax rebates, the system was agreed upon. A local sub-contractor eventually installed the system on my roof, but had to make numerous return trips to finish the work. (TOTAL installation time took 5 months from signing the contract to interconnecting with the local power company. My neighbor with a larger system through a LOCAL company went from contract to interconnection in 5 weeks! The after-installation support was an uphill battle as the company is in California and they put the problems of my system on the sub-contractor (THEIR contractor), who dropped the ball by not submitting the rebate registration paperwork to the local power company here in Texas. The system was installed without authorization from the local power company. The sub-contractor was their “guy” so they are ultimately responsible for the situation. The system finally works, but I am out over $3,000.00 in local power system rebate funds.

We’ve been generating solar for about 2.5 months. My bill from the electric company is about $7.00. AND we have generated even Green Solar was great. They answered all my questions and explained each step of the process. The installation was flawless, and my yard was picked up of any debris when the workers were done. I couldn’t have asked for more. We’ve been generating solar for about 2.5 months. My bill from the electric company is about $7.00. AND we have generated even more than we have used. I expect to be able to afford to use my refrigerated air and not feel guilty or stressed about money!

Installation and Using Solar

The Installer came and did a Visual survey of home and roof layout. The the panels arrived and the two installers started attaching to roof. Then Electricians came and wired everything together. Then we had a visit from local power company and installer and electrician answered their questions when they where happy with everything the electrician turned the unit on. Started making power meter was showing that it was be sent back to power company. Now with more sun i have sold more back to power company than i was buying. I can only see it getting better as days get longer and more sunshine
