The representative who assisted me with the warranty transfer at my new property was helpful and friendly. The provided me with all the information I needed in a timely manner and successfully assisted me in the tasks I set out to accomplish.

What good are they when they're not activated, while I have back to back utilities bills of $240-$250 + ! This project started over 6 months ago.

Customer service is horrible

Nobody ever knows what’s going on. They take forever to get back to you. Have a roof leak they sent out their investigation team who said it was clearly their fault due to improper installation. Still waiting for follow up while my attic continues to have water leak into it. No time frame, no communication between departments. No clue how to help. Avoid this company.

The service on the phone was good. My problem was addressed. The problem was shared with the right person. Now I’m waiting to hear back from a technician to fix the issue

When given dates for installation keep to schedule and when workers leave please advise homeowner. When you have to reschedule the second day of installation don’t call that same day at just before 7am to say you can’t be there that day and you will have to call back with a new date and then the new date is a week out with my home looking like crap very disappointed with the installation process

Service

They are great to get on the phone to answer question and with building the solar panels . The only two problems I have with them is after the panels were set up they sent me a letter change the price to 2,000 more dollars. They should not increase the price after you sign a contract for one price then after panels are up they increase the price. I had call from other companies that were a little less expensive but I staid with them because we had a contact and price .IF. YOU USE THEM MAKE SIURE BEFORE SIGNING YOU PUT IN A CLAUSE THAT AFTER THEY INSTALL The Panel THEY CAn NOT INCREASE THE PRICE. Also they did not coordinate with the county inspector they came at 8:00 but Inspector came at 12 so I am still waiting to turn on solar panels. It will be about a 2 month delay to turn on units. So I am paying a electric bill that should be cheaper if they just coordinated with the inspctor

Don't even consider Freedom

I've been waiting for someone to come to my house and fix my system for over 2 months. They haven't even scheduled an appointment and say that they're waiting on parts on their wearhouse.

My project was completed 12/19/25 and my electrical permit has not been completed plus has not been submitted to my city for inspection. I’m not satisfied

Solar

We were very impressed with Eddie and at the time and previously we were adamant about not getting solar. However when Eddie came and talked to us he explained everything and the benefits we would have and we signed up. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. After we signed up he kept us informed on the process and where we were in the process.

Up and Downs

I purchased solar from Freedom Solar, and it has been an up and down experience. The first part is the sales, Always ask for an itemized copy of your sales contract vs just a total number. Sales guy acted as if he was going to be advocate, but sales is sales. They installed dirty panels on my roof and when I asked them if they can clean the panels, the technicians told me that the rain will clean it. Absolutely craziness, I also called in customer support which I will say has been top notched and very responsive to all my request. One freedom forever only saving grace is providing excellent customer service. I am still waiting to see if they will clean my solar panels, as no one who is paying over 40k in Solar system should see dust all over the panels. One thing to note is that freedom forever still in away can control your system, as they are the admin of your system and can control who touches and if you want to upgrade you have to go through them or void your warranty. Mind you this system is owned and not leased, so they will be your gate keeper for as long as your warranty exist. In other words, it is like having a sofa you house and the furniture company can tell you who can sit and where you need to place it in your house. So great customer service, but the rest not so great.

I was concerned about a possible charge that I was totally unaware of, it was investigated and it was totally taken care of. I liked talking to representative rather than AI!!! Calvin was excellent!

Installation

Installation successful. Staff friendly and open to questins. Don't know if we will be supplied with instructions or notes on how the system works, such as if I have to turn off/on photovoltaic equipment, converter in what sequence and when. I assume that will all be explained to me later. Only note regarding constructin is that there is a circular panel with no guts yet, that should have been covered to prevent bugs, water, dirt etc. from being deposited.

Solar Panel Experience

Overall, I’m happy with Freedom Forever Solar. There have been times when the solar panels aren’t producing the level it should be, and I have to wait several months for a production review. Also, I’ve had to call and wait up to 30 days for a tech to come out two times my solar power went down after hurricanes. It would be nice to have an automated system to send out a person when the system notifies of an outage. Other than these issues, I’m happy with Freedom Forever. Today’s call with Mike was 5 stars. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Ephraim in customer service was polite and was quick to send me a set of plans for the solar service that was installed my property. Thank you Ephraim.

I have been waiting for 2 months to get an answer for my no production days. It keeps extending further and further. I was promised an answer by 01/24/26. Now is pushed to 02/19/26. Is simple no production give me credit. Service came 2 times to fix the issue!

Battery issue

Outstanding solar + Tesla battery installation from start to finish. I had been very concerned about the risks and potential issues (electrical work, roof penetrations, workmanship, cleanup), but this team delivered a thoughtful, high-quality install that put all of those concerns to rest. The staff was extremely professional and respectful of my home. They worked cleanly, communicated clearly, and left no mess behind. What stood out most was the attention to detail—everything is laid out neatly, labeled well, and installed in a way that looks intentional and “done right,” not rushed. The final setup looks fantastic both on the roof and in my garage. Timeline was also excellent: once I paid, they started the install process immediately and completed everything within about a week. That kind of responsiveness is rare. Only minor regret on my side: I paid by credit card, which in hindsight wasn’t the best choice for me. But that’s on me—overall I’m very pleased and would recommend this team to anyone considering solar and Tesla batteries.
