Terrible communication

The install crews were fantastic! But communication from sales/office was horrendous. Excuses for everything empty promises such as I’ll get a battery back up system if they don’t upgrade my service panel just to find out that wasn’t true unless I wanted to start the entire process over again risking the local utility turning me down. I’ll be honest I already feel like I’ve made a huge mistake by doing this program with freedom forever

The salesperson was an A+++. The installation crew was also A+++. Customer Services was mostly A. Communications from the Utility Company could be improved. Still waiting for the PTO before we can turn on the system and benefit from the sun!

So far they have been great to work!

I am very pleased with the communication, follow up and installation. few small paper work issues early on, but eventually got it taken care of. My salesman, Chase Hanley is good at following back up and responsive. The crew that completed the installation was great! Good group of guys, good work ethic, also communicated very well. They did a great Job on the install and ground mount install exceeded my expectations. I will recommend Freedom Forever to anyone interested!

Wilson was very helpful and answered my question very promptly. This is the second time I have emailed Forever Freedom customer service and the response both times was exceptional. The first time I was helped by Farrah, who answered my questions completely.

Replacement of Inverter

Our inverter has been having issues for two months now. Solar Edge informed us of thr issues after I contacted them via email about our increased electric bill and possible issues with the system. Afyer a few weeks we received the replacement inverter, but there was no communication from Solar Edge and Freedom Forever, so I had to contact Freedom Forever to let them know we have a new inverter for them to install. This will cost us approximately 500 in electrical costs due to the delay.

I appreciate being able to file this claim and respectfully request an update within a few months. I understand you are backlogged, but hope this claim and resolve does not take over 120 days. Very responsive

Customer service is very responsive, professional and kind. Installers were fast, professional and efficient. The panels look awesome on our roof. Not distracting or gawdy, the look nice Took a longggggg time for all the permits to be completed, but that may have been more of a problem with my County and not Freedom Forever. Only 4 stars because of the time it took to have the system installed and I was not understanding all the paperwork that need to be signed off on. Also, I thought I was getting a battery back system as part of the installation, but I have been told that was not the case. So even though I can be confused, they were always there to answer my questions.

Brett and his team did a great job! They were not only professional but friendly as well. It was cool to see the install process and have them explain parts of the hardware, battery and usage app. 5 stars to Brett and the team!

Paid in Full. System Not Working. Zero Accountability.

We signed with Freedom Forever at the end of December 2025 and paid upfront through a loan for full solar installation, with the expectation the system would be installed and operational by year end. The Sacramento install team completed the physical install on December 31st. However, when the county inspector arrived for approval, the installation FAILED due to exposed hanging wires under the panels. What makes this worse is that the Sacramento installation team was required to be present during the inspection -- and they did not show up. The inspector arrived alone, the system failed inspection due to improper installation, and no installer was there to address or even acknowledge the issue. This was a mandatory step in the process, and they missed it entirely. Because of that failure, the system cannot be approved or turned on. Since then: - We have been paying our solar loan for nearly 2 months for a system that is NOT connected and NOT producing power. - The Sacramento team failed to show up for a scheduled correction appointment within their 6-hour window. - There is no direct way to contact the Sacramento installation or scheduling team. - Customer service repeatedly refuses to connect us to supervisors or provide last names (Jaycel said they are not allowed to do so or have a reference number of the recorded phone call) - A supervisor Jocelyn Paz promised multiple times to resolve this and it took 7 attempts and many follow ups for weeks to get reply over the email that service will come (which didn't) -No accountability. No urgency. No ownership. We are paying for a system that does not work because of their installation errors and scheduling failures. Customer service is unresponsive and dismissive. Management hides behind call centers. There is no escalation path. If you are in California -- especially Sacramento -- think carefully before signing. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had.

Good So Far

My experience was good for the most part. I did have a couple of issues with regard to installation. First, there was a lot of debris left in my yard and driveway. Our panels were installed on February 9 and we are still finding debris left over from the install. Unacceptable! They should have cleaned that stuff up. Stuff that was probably the reason one of my cars tires ended up with a screw in it. I also absolutely was not satisfied with the communication of the electrician that worked on my project. He had to stay later than the rest of the crew to finish something in my basement. We were sitting for at least an hour waiting for him to come up from the basement and let us know he was done. My husband went downstairs to check on him and he was gone, never said anything to us, just snuck out. Then the next day I am sitting in my family room alone watching TV and hear all this banging on the house and I look out to see what's going on and it's 2 electricians out there working. So not only did he not say he was leaving the night before, but he or anyone else for that matter, reached out to me to let me know that the work wasn't complete and someone would be returning to finish the work. Then yesterday a stranger knocks on my door and I am nervous so I don't answer as I am home alone during the day and you can't be too careful now with opening the door for strangers. So I watched him on my security camera and saw hi. go to the side of my house so I am assuming that is was a rep from your company checking on something. A couple hours later, I get another knock on the door. Again, I didn't answer. This time the guy talked into the camera letting me know he was putting stickers on so I could pass inspection. This company needs to be more sensitive to the fact that they need to let their customers know when they need to come visit, not just come unannounced. That was very unsettling to me.

Warranty Transfer

I reached out to Freedom Forever to transfer the warranty on my parents who had recently passed way solar panel array. They had made the procedure very easy, I just wish it was a little faster than 30 days so I know that the system is heathy.

Well I can say is it was very hard afterwards the solar was installed . the inverted and the battery didn’t work . But I got say if it wasn’t for Dan from canton Michigan . He was the only one that actually talked to me and listen to me . For long time got the things roll and he very pleasantly person . Today inverted was in stalled with new one and just waiting for the new battery to be installed . He kind nice personality about him . . Come with smile and keeps me updated . A mess

Things seemed good at 1st. Everything moved smoothly thru the install but then stopped dead. All that is needed is to get the system inspected. freedom forever refuses to schedule an inspection, claiming they no longer have a license. The city and state dispute that, saying there is nothing preventing an inspection. I’ve called about a dozen times, each time they promised me that they will reach back out. Hasn’t happened yet.
