The panels were installed 3 months ago , but I still isn't running . Missing install a panel but it never hapens . I'm frustated with this company .

Tough job to do over winter. Scheduling was terrible. Usually wasn’t told if/when they would be back. I’d say the job/install is not complete until system is activated, which it is not. Survey is premature.

Professionals!

Wow! This company is awesome. First thing we noticed was that the workers followed safety protocol. After being in construction for many years previously, we were very impressed with the safety measures that they followed to keep their workers safe. Ran into a placement problem and they worked extremely hard to help us find a solution. Very happy with how they handled every situation. Our neighbor recommended them to us, and we will continue to do the same. Very, very happy with the results.

When is the installation for Solar panels and Battery backup.

I started for Solar panel and battery backup system in /or June 2025. And received nothing except a lot of texts. My wife and I are wondering if you're a real Solar Provider or just a commercial fraud company. When I had Slar panels installed on my house in Colorado, They were installed them within 2 months from the date they were quoted.With all checks progress. So you should step up.

Roof leak inspection

Kane was great. Inspected from where the leak was coming in our bedroom and found where it was coming from in attic and on roof. It's a seal around the roof vent

Jude was helpful

Jude was very helpful and I appreciate not being hung up on. Jude was my 4th call to Freedom this morning and was the only person to not disconnect mid-sentence and helped immensely. Hopefully you tech team can get out and fix/replace my inverter that appears to have randomly stoped working months ago.

Redland California Install

We had Freedom install solar panels on our home this week. The team was very professional. They arrived on time and notified us before arrival. The installation was very smooth and team provided us with updates every a hour or so. I highly recommend. - Donovan Riddley

Responsive

I had a small leak after a large storm. Freedom was very responsive, calling me in less than 24 hours after I sent an email. The agent was polite and efficient.

This is the worst experience I’ve had with any solar company They were asked to do the permit modifications after inspection. The city turned around with in a day and emailed them to pay the permit fee I called them and the permit is not approved after 7 days. They didn’t do anything and I started doing my own digging. I found out that permit fee needs to be paid and they said it will take them another week because they have to go in pers. Finally I paid fee online on their behalf Then they didn’t schedule up until 2 weeks cos their tech wasn’t available. On the day of the inspection, inspector didn’t even come as he had already inspected earlier. He was ok with just the permit modification. One whole month wasted. Now comes PTO. A whole month has gone by and it hasn’t even been applied. They said they can’t file it as there is an existing application pending. So I can either cancel or they can transfer to Freedom. I immediately replied them to go ahead and transfer. I then kept on getting the same email texts from multiple people and I kept on telling them to transfer. They are an epitome of an incompetent organization; stay away

It's a good setup i hope, we are now done waiting for the electic company to come and approve.

Texh support covetage

The support agent on phone was kind and patient. But when they said a technician needs to come look at my system, it took them 3 hours to tell me it will be other 2 to 3 weeks before they will call back to attempt to schedule a visit. My system will be down for two months and they don't care.

Poor Customer Service

After multiple communications since the end of January, we were finally given a service appointment scheduled for March 10th. However on March 9th, we received a text stating that the appointment has been canceled and that we must reach out again to schedule a new date. At this point, our solar panels have been nonfunctional for six weeks while we have been waiting for this service appointment. During that time, we have continued auto-paying our Sunrun bill without complaint. In addition, we have been receiving significantly higher charges from ComEd—costs that these panels were supposed to help offset. Canceling the appointment the day before service, after such an extended delay, is extremely concerning and reflects a lack of urgency in resolving this issue. This situation is unacceptable, and we need immediate assistance to restore service. Please escalate this matter and provide the soonest possible service appointment. If this issue cannot be resolved promptly, we will need to review our options regarding the contract and next steps. There is a new scheduled service for April 9th. We'll see if issues will be finally resolved after 12 weeks of issues.

Solar installation

Freedom was great. The solarcRep. Oke was great. All information was explained. The scheduling was easy and the installers were well trained and very conscientious!

Shingles loosened during installation.

Took forever to get things going. Still have no solar production, getting an appointment took forever just to have the tech reschedule after he was already late
