Smooth and pain free
They showed up on time, made sure I knew what was going to happen, answered all of my questions and then did the work. I'm not sure how it could have gone any simpler. Was also nice they they looked and spoke like American's rather than foreign laborer's who I couldn't understand because they only spoke spanish.

No such thing as thorough planning and good communication.
The entire process from initial communication with installation completed two days ago has been very smooth. My only complaint is where the battery and related equipment was installed. Your inspector said the aforementioned equipment could be installed in the garage but the plans showed it on the side of the house. When I called to question the equipment location, I was told that is where the permitting requires so I did not move items in my garage to accommodate the solar equipment. When the installation crew arrived he asked where I wanted the equipment installed. I explained what had transpired and was disappointed because it would have taken me a day or to make an area ready for the equipment. I will get over it but I will be reminded daily of this error because of where the equipment is located.

Overall installed review
Let's start with the positive, Julian the electrician and team leader did a great job installing the solar panels, gateway, 2 breaker/ disconnect boxes and piping very neatly. The crew clean up after working inside, outside, and commission the solar solar system today, according to Julian everything is working but, I need to wait on town inspection and Unitil electric to change the meter. Freedom Forever swapped out my solar panels for lower wattage and less efficient ones, and made up overall wattage by increasing panel count, I don't like that!

Easier than pie.
Our solar system was just installed today by Freedom Forever. They arrived early and dealt with the elements. They got the system installed without issue and were off the site as if they were never there. Onto the next phase!!

I talked with Reese. He was extremely responsive to my concerns. He listened to my problems and was able to find the correct dept to send me to. He took the time to hear my problems and try to find a mutual solution and ended up finding that I have the type of system I wanted, it just isn’t working and sent me to the right place to get it to work

Well i was promised my past due to my Edison bill would be paid and they only sent me part of it, I was also told that I would be getting a new breaker and then after install i had to ask why my breaker wasn't changed, they told me because it was denied by sce. I think thats funny how no one let me know that before install so I could way my options. I wasn't told anything after install about setting anything up or that an inspection would be needed from the city to get it going and I have no idea what my next steps are after its actually up and running. I received a few emails to rate my experience and to download this or that app but no explanation on why or what I would need the app for. Now the rep who promised me the past due would be paid is ignoring my texts about the remainder of my past due bill. Its frustrating and stressful and I'm going to be paying alot of money to this company for the next 25yrs and I'm seriously regretting my decision when I could have went with another company who offered me a better deal.

You have tennis shoes
This is the worst company to get your solar panels from by my experience cuz I've had solar panels on my house but all the electricity and everything ready to go for a year now from July 2024 till now and they're still not activated I would not recommend this company to put solar on my dog house so I wouldn't rip it recommend it to a dog for solar every time I called and text somebody they would tell me they're not handling it no more call this person call this person called that person nobody knows nothing so at this point I'm telling you if you get a call from these guys doing here solar panels or anything run and run fast I'm going to call the BBB today also get a lawyer today so I've been patient and my patient has ran out I hope everything's Nest will take heat of it

Awful Service Freedom For never
I would like to express my frustration regarding the challenges I’ve faced in reaching a representative to discuss my solar project. After six months of effort, I find myself repeatedly leaving voicemails instead of having meaningful conversations. Given that most people in the U.S. are often accessible via their mobile phones, it raises the question of why responses are not forthcoming. I really hate to have to track down individuals. Additionally, I have encountered significant issues with the portal process, which has only added to my frustration. I reside in Albuquerque, and I’ve been informed that an electrician will need to be brought in from out of state to complete the installation. This situation has further delayed the project, and I am eager to find a resolution.

I couldn’t have imagined a worse experience and may have to proceed to legal action. The crew installed the system incorrectly (layout not matching design), they damaged a few items inside and outside my home, they played soccer in the street instead of cleaning up after themselves which resulted in sharp metal objects strewn around the yard, driveway and garage and they damaged my two month old roof shingles which have to be repaired.

Customer service good
When I had to call customer service, they were very nice and easy to deal with. And the salesman was very professional and responsive. When I text him the crew that did the electrical and style was very efficient. The crew that installed the panels however just showed up, didn’t tell me they were at my home and I didn’t know they were there until my dogs were going crazy played loud music to where my neighbors complained so I had to tell them to turn the music down so I wasn’t very pleased with that crew individually. I’d give them about a 2 1/2.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!
DO NOT USE FREEDOM FOREVER!! I have been trying to get a hold of them for over a month with absolutely no responses. They took our money and now they will not respond to any emails, messages, or phone calls. I have been on the phone for about 4 hours in total with absolutely no help or any of my issues resolved. I never write a bad review, hardly ever, but please PLEASE I am begging you, RUN from this company. Don't even be tempted, they are the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.

Good overall commitment. Note sure how the business is organized
Business needs to remain clear of how, when, and why of profits, who pays and why they get paid. Overall, the solar business does not seem to be well organized with clear guidelines, actually it's kind of schizoid in operation, with different businesses controlling different aspects of the business: one finance, one a lease, one the installation, and one the information aspects of the business. Originally, when we installed solar here in Texas, it was never made clear that not every energy company has a discount plan, and what that discount means. This information should be up front, not hidden. What happened is that we went for months without the solar discount, which when we switched to a company that had the discount for using solar it was fairly marginal. Then we ran into the cleanup crew, that came with a better plan, they somehow knew we were under-performing. This was more like a spy novel, than a real life attempt to get a workable solar fitment working. Who knew what when, and how they knew it was never clear. If a better job in done in the future of communicating, and clearly showcasing the benefit from all this, then the given ratings would go up. Meanwhile, we are tentatively watching what they are doing. Additionally, the technical details need to be shared with the consumer, it should not be taken for granted that the consumer is not interested in these details: load per panel, panel brand, efficiency per panel, total number of panels, and overall power out, expected savings, and net metering of the power back to the energy people. This should be presented to the consumer in a hard copy for reference, at least. As a contrast, when Leaf Filter installed our gutters we knew what they were doing, and I was informed in depth about the technology being used, which I appreciated as a retired engineer. That they were using another company for finance, was a touch strange, but it worked out in the end, and was affordable for us. We are older people too, and it's a pretty solid fact for us that there are many out there that would be happy to use us as a piggy bank. So proceeding forward with this, was in some ways a leap of faith. There were several people that came around, stating about us under-performing, but I had absolutely no understanding of what they were talking about, and so I dismissed them all. It seems that good tracking of who is sent out is not done, leading to a lot of suspicion of door to door sales-creatures, which there seem to be a lot of out here, who would sell their own mothers if it was allowed. So yeah, we have a No Solicitors sign up front. The first date for the install was cancelled, but we were never informed of this, even though our email is perfectly workable. I got up at 6AM and waited for many hours for the guys to show up. We had to arrange another date. Retired people don't necessarily want to jump out of bed at 6AM, and you might want to keep in mind the nature of the customers you dealing with, demographics. I understand that in our environment that the intensive midday heat is a big factor, and getting started early is vital. Make sure your people are safe and well-hydrated and well-paid, which they seem to be. The install seemed to go well, and so far, things seem to be OK. Below--don't know what you mean by System Price, total system cost?--it is stated per month $213.07 on the contract Below--don't know what you mean by System Size, we already have 8.505 KW system installed, and each of your dozen panels adds 10.839 KW? We have two dozen sets, one on the west side and the other on the east side of the roof; so System Size would be 8.505 + 2(10.839) = 8.505 + 21.678 = 30.183 KW?

Poor communication
I signed my agreement and it took almost 7 months for my install to begin. I tried canceling my contract three times and was told I was unable to cancel even though no work had been done and no money had been put down. I wasn't getting any updates when permits were being sent back. I was having to reach out to my team for communication which is unacceptable when you're making such a big decision.

Wrong company for solar

I PICKED THE WRONG COMPANY
This has been a nightmare from the beginning. The installers left sharp metal pieces on my roof which blew off and stabbed through the roof of my greenhouse then kept having me call the electric company when it was actually them that FORGOT to take the necessary pictures. It’s now been 2 1/2 months since the panels were installed and still not on . I finally got the ok but the instructions say to check for 2 lights to be on which they aren’t and when i called for help turning it on, I was told to call the finance company for a work order! This has been the worst experience EVER! My neighbor used a different company and theirs as on within 2 weeks. I still have no resolution or solar!
