not happy

I'm so upset now I can hardly speak. I spent 2 weeks and almost $3000 making sure the trench near our giant old chestnut tree carefully navigated around its root system. I told the key people from Freedom Forever on our property to make sure they protect the roots. I just went out to check on things and saw someone I didn't recognize cutting through a 5 inch root !!!! I stopped him immediately. This could seriously damage our tree !!! Where is the f'ing leadership here!!! NOT HAPPY !!!

Mixed bag

Sales rep was really great before and well into the co tract, but in the last 2-3 weeks I can’t reach him. Customer service today - Jazmin, was extremely helpful and provided a lot of detail. My residential dite is apparently difficult. The project is 2 months behind. There was a month with zero progress and no feedback. This time was another month with no feedback, but the CS rep listed a lot of activity in this time. I’m becoming concerned about missing the federal deadline Dec 31. That’s $12,000 to me. Plus, life. I need this to get done. I’m not providing ratings on the remaining pages because the project is not complete and it’s a mixed answer to every other question. Jazmin: 5, sales rep: would have been 5, now 3.

Communication

This company has the worst communication with the customer and with themselves. About 3-4 weeks ago I had my solar panels installed and was told they would return in the next couple of days to connect the installed backup battery to the existing power line. That never happened. Last week I got an email saying my inspection was being fast tracked. I immediately notified my sales representative and told him the battery wasn’t connected yet and he said he would look into it. Today another representative stopped by to take pictures of the battery system. I told him the story and he said he will look into it. We’ll see.

Fraudulent

Loan increased 3 times. Lied about reimbursing me for cutting trees down even when I have it in writing. Won’t return any messages back. Tried lying about needing a roof even when the inspector said it does. Have that in writing also. Told me contractors were coming over so we could pick out singles and etc. didn’t happen, instead solar panel installers show up and try telling me my roof was good. What a joke. They were very deceitful in all. One lie after another. Now I have trees cut down with out any reimbursement. They will not return any of my many messages. They are crooks and should not be aloud to do business like this anywhere.

They completed the installation and did not proceed to test and explain the operation, and lack of labels to indicate Main brakes.. in addition, our house has a Diesel generator interconnected with the solar system, not Isidro the tests with the Generator

Project has taken way too long to even start

Signed the project contract in August 2024. It is now finally being installed in fits and starts. I have doubts it will be completed before the end of the year to be able to claim the Federal tax credit for solar installation before it expires.

Almost there!

I have to admit I don’t completely understand how solar panels work. On the other hand. I don’t completely get television or the internet either, but I enjoy and use them. The crew was kind, interesting, competent, and willing to do anything I asked within reason. Because of supply chain problems and, apparently, tariffs on imported goods, we had to wait a week for a storage battery. We have a low-pitched roof and the support system was attached with both screws and waterproofing, which had to cure. So the wait was scheduled. Our local electrical company has yet to approve and switch us over to our own production of electricity, but we’re excited and waiting.

Unprofessional

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. First, it took almost 1.5 years to get it installed, left equipment in my yard for a year, drilled a bunch of holes in my metal roofing trying to find a stud and did not patch it up properly, damaged my gutters (3 broken mounts), leaned solar panels against my house on porch and got blown off porch before they came back (you should not leave $10,000 worth of equipment sitting at the site! That's plain stupidity), electrical wiring would get left wide open (and I would have to go out and put the covers back on to keep the rain off the bare wiring), tons of screws were left in my driveway, they lost the screws to hold the cover on the battery, they installed the battery on my porch wall which has no studs (that was at least fixed), the phone number I had for freedom doesn't exist anymore after my first complaint (now the only number I can call is a general customer service that takes an hour to even get on the schedule), the solar panels are not even placed evenly (looks like a toddler randomly slapped them up there), and my meeter still needs the upgrade but I was told that freedom got ride of all the employees that do that??? This has been nothing but one gigantic nightmare! I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! I have half a mind to get a lawyer and sue you guys for all the damage to my house. I could have done it better myself.

I would only recommend them the sales rep was knowledgeable, the install went without a problem and the customer service is great considering they're the largest solar installer in the US

drilled unnecessary holes and never fixed them

they took it upon themselves to put my powerwalls on the wrong side of my house and then did not fix and refilled the holes. promised to be back the next day to do it...1 1/2 months ago.

The crew showed up the morning of 10/14/25 Around 8 :30. Crew of 4. Introduced themselves and went over the process . Was watching what they did since I had a very bad experience with another company in the past. Very neat and answered any questions I had. They finished up around 2 pm and left the area clean of any materials they may have discarded. So far everything has gone very smoothly and ahead of schedule. Just have to wait for the final inspection, the electric company to replace the proper metering and turn on system to use. Was told all that is left could take 30 - 60 days for completion.

Incredible Installation | Great Transparency & Communication

Ever since the sales team led by Danny Correa here in Orange County, CA got in touch with me, he walked me through the whole process, and was transparent on what and when they were doing on the project. I got immediate access to the portal and he went through the panel design, layout and battery choice. Once this was decided, the survey happened within the week. Danny is a great sales manager and I appreciated his willingness to help. I was ready for installation which was done with great precision. The install team of 5 from Fresno, drove in early on 10/07 and knocked it off in a day. The team was sharp and knew what they were doing. Moses, Jose, Enrique, Marco and Isaac were phenomenal. I hope Freedom Forever recognizes their effort and rewards them for their professionalism.

David the sales representative was very helpful in guiding me through the process from the beginning of purchase to install. He is very knowledgeable of the product he sells and very informative. Josh and his install team was great. They knocked out the job in time and did a clean install. System Inop

CS Rep Jake M. did an outstanding job with his guidance to reset my solar system. It worked!! System was down w/out my knowledge until utility bill was high for month of September. Called Meraki & left a voicemail on Wednesday w/no response. Called Freedom Forever and my system was back online through Jake's knowledge & patience with me. Awful company

Installation has taken years and is still not done. The company never knows what is supposed to be happening and has to be called constantly. They moved forward with finalizing our loan before actually finishing anything, which is fraud in any definition out there. Horrible. Don't work with them.
