Terrible Work
I would really think hard prior to using Freedom Forever for solar. They damaged my property and didn’t tell me. They installed the solar wrong, came back multiple times, submitted wrong paperwork to the power company. It’s sad when 2 payments to the solar loan were made prior to the solar working. If you still choose to use them, hopefully you’ll have a positive experience.

Support for this Arizona customer was excellent!
Linda was attentive, listening carefully to the issues we were having with the Tesla app and PowerWall 3 not following schedules correctly. She ended up needing to re-route me to Tesla support to get the Utility Provider changed under "Settings->My Home Info" and to adjust the rate schedule values - but that was completely understandable.

Interaction with Jacob
I called needing some assistance with an issue with paperwork. Jacob assisted with that and then through our discussion he helped set up my Solaredge app. As I was asking questions about it, he noticed some unusual activity and pursued trying to troubleshoot them. He was extremely helpful and diligent. He worked with me for about an hour. Very professional, courteous and easy to discuss my concerns.

Horrible
Horrible communication. Substandard installation. To leave my main breaker panel exposed to the elements was totally unprofessional. A technician that was working next door noticed and put rags in the holes but that doesn't stop water intrusion. Many tripped breakers over that time and then when the electrician came to finish wiring the system was informed of the problem I was given the blank stare as he didn't understand. Wiring completed with no overview of what was done and again a breaker tripped. Notified sales and had to take off of work to accommodate another electrician to remedy the problem. Best thing that can happen is the system be removed from my house! You can find a different customer to install all the components on their house. COME GET YOUR EQUIPMENT!!!

Timeliness
Sales portion was exceptionally professional and polished. The administrative side wasn’t as smooth. Switched from lease to ownership well before installation. Ended up with two separate time lines/projects that were never merged, and still aren’t, despite multiple contacts with people “in the know” of the process. Information flow slowed and became jerky. It’s as if the lease people don’t communicate with the ownership people. Installation went well, except a hole in my drywall above the breaker box. First electrician made it. Second electrician figured out better routing. Hole remains two months later. Company says the job requires a contractor for the work. Ticket for the work is open, but communication has slowed to a crawl. Time will tell if customer support will match what was touted in sales presentation.

It has been difficult to contact and reach somebody for help. Our first install wasn’t done correctly, we’ve had issues with the box being burned and nobody has seemed to be concerned about it except for an employee who came and saw it. Additionally, somebody came out over 4 months ago and turned off our system, apparently with concerns about the burn marks on our box, never told us and we haven’t had solar in months now.

Customer Service
We’ve had some difficulty communicating with Freedom Forever with several issues. However, once we found a number that directed us to a customer service representative, we finally received the help that we were looking for. Jacob was very personable, attentive, a great communicator, and went above and beyond, helping us solve our problems. He even took the initiative to update our system proactively and educate us how to evaluate the effectiveness of our solar panels on our house through the SolarEdge app. Because of his exceptional service, I gave a rating of five stars.

Jacob is great!
I have had mixed results when calling customer service. All the reps were pleasant and seem to care but over the past two months nothing seems to get done. However, with Jacob he is very proactive and goes the extra distance to get things done. After two months of udder frustration, he and Lorena was able to get a tech at my house where it was discovered the the BI was wired incorrectly. Jacob also followed up to make sure everything was taken care of. That follow up was HUGE in my eyes. That's how the customer should be treated!

Customer Service
I have requested a copy of the papers that were not sent to me by email on how to set up my monitoring application. My request has fallen on death ears. Nobody can help me, they have to refer it to a different department or a different company, but nobody can help me. However, I see that they have automatically set up my payments to start on 5 November!! This company sucks!! I am so disappointed that I got hooked into agreeing to work with this company. I had people waiting to see how I feel about this company so that they could join and now I have to tell them don’t bother. All I want is an email with the instructions on how to set up the app so I can monitor my monthly usage of solar power, and nobody can help me!! YOU ARE A DISGUSTING COMPANY AND I AM VERY, VERY UPSET THAT I SIGNED UP TO BE ONE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

Look elsewhere for solar panels!!!
Look elsewhere for solar panels. This company is awful for multiple reasons. First, they are so predatory with their loans. The salesman told us we would have one rate and now after 20 months, we lost our "promotion" which we were never told about and our loan went up $60 a month. All we were told was we needed to opt for the solar tax credit to keep our rate which we did. I spoke to the loan company who is now conveniently out of business and there is nothing we can do. Second, we got these installed back in early 2024 and have seen 1 month of return. We live in Colorado where we get sunshine 300 days a year and only 1 month have we seen an return on these solar panels. We have 3 adults and 1 infant who live in our house and we do not use that much electricity but now we basically pay double what we did before solar because we still have our electric payment PLUS this now increased solar loan payment. LOOK ELSEWHERE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH ON OTHER COMPANIES. I wish we had.
