The WORST company ever!
I have gone back and fourth with this company for over 7 months now since install. The amount of 1. Lack of communication 2. Lack of information and communication they have with third party companies they force you to work with but won’t help when both companies give conflicting information and 3. The lack of customer service. They told me for months xcel needed to install a new meter for my panels to run electric and xcel kept telling me they didn’t need to. Freedom forever refused to call xcel and 3 months after the back and fourth go “oh we didn’t know there was a change and they actually don’t need to install a new meter” fast forward a couple months I haven’t gotten a bill so I call them they tell me I need to call the 3rd party finance company and I call them they tell me the solar company hasn’t given permission to operate I call freedom forever back and tell them what I was told and they tell me they gave permission to operate so I tell her I am going to three way so she can hear them say they don’t have permission to operate I do that and she refuses to talk saying she won’t talk to a 3rd party and it’s out of her hands but yet the guy is saying on the phone they don’t have the pto and now I’m stuck with no help and no information on my electricity, solar panels, or bills. I regret ever working with this company and HIGHLY suggest you go with a different company.

Follow up getting bettet
I was called back when they promised but they now said I’d get a weekly call until the issue is resolved. If that happens, then I will be happier than I have been since Sep 2024 when this started!

Customer Service
We have been customers for several years. Our initial request for the number of panels needed for our energy demands were denied. After a year of paying the loan and an electric bill, we submitted a request for the additional panels initially proposed. After many months of waiting, calling and delays, the panels were finally installed. We are now again without battery back-up on our Tesla powerwalls. We received an email from Tesla that there is a defect and they would need to be replaced. They will turn off the batteries remotely for safety reasons, which has now happened. We contacted Freedom when we first received the email, they promised a call back. That never happened. Now we are again waiting for someone to contact us. In the meantime, we have no powerwall and will have to pay the electric bill until Freedom decides to do something. I guess I may decide to join the class action law suit. My life is now a Tom Clancy novel.

Solar panels in Hawkinsville ga
I am very disappointed in the way this company has been misleading in the amount of usage in the state of Ga. Now we can’t get our EMC to come install meter to turn on the panels.

Great customer service and support with documentation!

Horrible communication
Horrendous communication every step of the way. They sent out someone to take measurements and completely disregarded them, changing our layout and making the roof penetrations without letting us know they were changing things around. After they started the revised installation, they realized they measured incorrectly a 2nd time and had to change the layout again. We were home during this and they didn’t take the 30 seconds to let us know as we wanted panels moved around to other locations for aesthetic reasons which they ended up doing after having to seal up holes they already made. A meter needed to be removed as well which they did and low a behold, poor communication once again as they never alerted us that we needed to contact Eversource to have them remove it from our account. Two weeks went by that we could have done this, but were never told that this was the process. Use a different company, these folks are terrible to put it lightly.

Customer service repair scheduling
The lady Vickie today was very helpful. We have a very poor service request experience!!!!!! After 7 months we still have not had someone come to see the issues, we have done everything asked of us, and now we wait again to see if a te hnician actually arrives. After 50+ years working in customer service myself, I expect quality service for paid for products. We look forward to promised services in the future.

Overall, we had a positive experience, and I especially want to recognize Stan for his excellent work. He was highly responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented, and did a great job coordinating a complex timeline and keeping things moving forward. His communication and ownership made a real difference. One area for potential improvement is having more clearly defined processes for new construction projects, as these tend to have different coordination needs compared to existing homes. Smooth Solar Installation with Reliable Production Results
