Almost perfect
Awesome salesman!! Too bad the historic district committee took forever on permits approval, delayed by 3 months. Install was super quick just 1 day, basically, the installer was an awesome pro and a human! I haven't started yet producing, waiting for inspection, but so far it's great. Just feel like it's sometimes not too proactive, but everything else is awesome. I got an amazing deal and paid $0 so far. Can't wait to start generating!

Monitoring
I have had nothing but problems with my inverter not allowing me to see my production. Service here in June, tech got it "fixed" but said that this problem would persist until new inverter was installed and said they wouldn't do that, it quit within 2 days. Now January 13th came again, "fixed" but the next day nothing.

Installation was great, but support sucks!
I had a great experience with the sales and installation teams, but post sales support is very bad. My system is down for SIX MONTHS and no one even bother to let us know. I am sure this review will get an AI generated response from the company, but I doubt that anything would change. I welcome Freesom Forever to prove me wrong and will be happy to change my opinion.

Inverter problem
My Solar Edge app is telling me that my solar was not creating any electrons. I figured it was toast. The app’s Inverter Status and Communication features didn’t work as described but a call to the Support and talking to Mike let me know that the converter was indeed creating electricity but only the communication between the converter and my Solar Edge was the problem. They’re working in it and will report back soon. I’m very happy with their system for solving the problem.

Ambivalence and Silence
Working with freedom forever has been the most blindingly painful experience of my life. I have never met a company that has been so resistant to talking to me. At every turn except the initial sale I was ignored until miscommunication and bad information became so rampant that I was for the first time in my life considering legal action against a company. I tried everything from extreme passivity and agreeableness to legal threats and being a very squeaky wheel. No power on earth can cajole Freedom forever to take its customers seriously. It will do what it’s going to do, silently, and in its own time. I tremble to consider the possibility that anything could ever go wrong with the system and I’ll need to ever speak to a freedom forever representative again because I know it will be a year long process of waiting around and hoping something is happening. The install took over 2 and a half months to complete and during this process I was insistently calling every number available to me trying to get information on what the problem was and when it was expected to be resolved. My project specialist and sales representative were totally unresponsive and the general customer support was full of yes men who did anything they could, including giving bad information and false promises, to get me off the phone. It is with enormous relief that I report that at the very least the system is installed correctly. Admittedly the install team itself seemed to be friendly and competent so shout out to the local installer for that for somehow doing their job when corporate is such a total crap show. I rue the day I signed a contract with Freedom forever and will emphatically warn anyone from ever signing with this company.

Production audit
Had some issues with the system last year that were fixed without a headache. Called to have my system audited to guarantee it generated as much as it was supposed to due to the issues. Audit was generated with no issue.

Great Customer Service
Excellent from start to finish and when we needed repair work done in the past it was quick and properly done. The help over the phone with any agent has always been fantastic including my call today to place a service request. Finally I found exactly what I was hoping for.
After researching solar for over a year, I finally found what I was looking for. From the initial consultation, they answered every question precisely, not hiding anything or steering me in a different direction. I told them about my wants and needs, and they put together a plan that more than covered what I needed. They had the best price, warranties of all the companies I had spoken with. Installation for my 22 panels and Tesla backup battery only took a day and a half. It would've been done in one day if it weren't for the rainstorm that came through, so they installed the battery while it was raining and came back the next morning to knock out the panels. I couldn't be happier... from the sales team to the installation team and the support team, everyone has been amazing. If any question ever came up there was always someone to answer it.

Dazed and confused
Shocking lack of communication and coordination. Many calls and questions over six week period leading up to installation. Only got referrals to inaccurate website. No call or email from company rep. Installation location and materials were wrong each time company showed up. If I had not been home and questioned everything they would have put a thousand screw holes through my metal roof and partially on the wrong side of the roof. Solar array was changed twice but the plan brought to the field by the crew was always wrong. Mounting materials brought by crew were wrong. Electricians seemed knowledgable. Customer Support is useless. Freedom Forever just hired a massive off-shore call center that takes your questions and concerns. Then they promise a call back that never happens. At least nobody ever returned my 15 calls. Maybe 16 is the magic number. Home office is in California. But they’ve successfully hidden all contact information for corporate. That’s always a bad sign. Good luck!
