Good contractor and very good service

I would like to share my positive experience with Freedom Forever for the solar installation at my home. The overall execution was excellent and professionally managed from start to finish. The installation contractors were highly knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. They completed the work neatly and ensured the site was clean at the end of each day. The piping and overall installation were done with great care and precision, minimizing visibility and maintaining a clean aesthetic. As a first‑time solar customer, I had several questions, all of which were answered clearly and patiently by the team. The Thunder Road crew was punctual, efficient, and worked quietly while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Their coordination and execution were impressive. I would also like to specifically acknowledge Avi Sheta, the sales representative. He is highly knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. I requested multiple design changes during the process, and Avi consistently supported those requests and ensured everything was completed smoothly. Overall, my experience with Freedom Forever—from sales through installation—was very satisfactory. I highly recommend Freedom Forever, Thunder Road contractors, and Avi Sheta for their professionalism, technical expertise, and customer‑focused approach.

Everything is good except the schedule

The installation crew was great and worked with me on the details. I am very happy with the product and the installation. My only complaint is on the schedule. We signed the agreement in May and expected a June install. The installation did not happen until January. This cost me money since I missed out on the Federal Tax credit I had planned to get.

The nicest guys, but they broke my water line and a roof down spout drain line. pge has been over a week to inspect. I wood give the crew a 5 star. I just did not know the pipes were in that location. And these guys need a trencher to dig with 3 of them dug for 9 hours to dig a 20 ft. ditch. and they were very hard workers. lots of rocks in my ground.

Great Customer Support

Edwing did a great job adding my SREC broker to my solar production monitoring portal so the system can auto report. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt.

No good company

Very bad, they installed the panels on August 2025 and at today Jan/2026 is not working yet, also be in contact with the technician or admin is very difficult. I do not recomend this company. At this point I do not know if they will complete my solar project

Do I even continue to do the solar project

After reading reviews and the headaches I have had since June of 2025 should I abort the solar panels and installation? I am seeing mixed reviews and wonder how I go about making sure this would be a best case option for our home. Does anyone have a best contact for solar companies to reach for currently freedom forever has a strong sales team but the installation has had headaches where they claim no fault of anyone yet the plans don't match anything discussed and repeatedly it gets pushed out. Please, anyone help a consumer make a good options with solar or DO NOT utilize them? Thank you for any tips or advice.

Don't tell you everything

Ive had their solar for 5 years, not many complaints till NOW! Ive contacted the better business bureau! At no time during my consultation was the words putting a lien on your house ever mentioned! Cant refinance, cant get an equity loan, you cant even sell your house! Its so shady! Ive asked them to remove this! But they refuse to get back with me! At this point every were and every place will know not to get solar . This is a huge problems of lies and not the truth!

Concerns

All the installation and communication work was excellent. My only criticism, and where they failed significantly without consulting me first, is that they spread too much salt on the roof. They swept all the snow off the roof with the salt, leaving it on the floor deck and also getting salt and snow into the roof's drainage system (roof gutter), which will cause the drainpipe getting rust. I asked them to clean it, but they didn't. They also left the yellow caution tape in the backyard marking the area.

Overall Company Review NOT AN INDIVIDUAL review

I have currently been without solar since September 13, 2025. The date of this review is January 20, 2026. There have been technicians to my home three times, the last one being January 16, 2026. The technician installed a new inverter, however, my Sunrun app is still not working showing zero production. I will say that the young lady who helped me today was extremely efficient and if this rating was for her alone, it would be five stars. However, since this rating is for the company, overall I would give it zero if possible this is not the first issue I’ve had with Freedom Forever. It has been nothing but delays no communication the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing, etc..

Excellent Installation

Pitiful

No matter what number I call I can never get a hold of someone for help. Our solar paInels have not been generating since May. We need help ASAP so that our bills are not so high. We are losing money and no one gets back to me even if I email. I am at a loss and don't know what to do. I have a hard time even giving this a one star.

Ephraim was very courteous and helpful in assisting me generate a service request for my Inverter Error. He provided very good customer service. *This review is related to the person who helped me over the phone concerning an alert I received regarding one of my system inverters. This does not reflect my experience as a whole with my Solar Panels.

Friendly and efficient installation crew. Knowledgeable and had everything up and operational including the Tesla power wall.

reedom Forever installed my solar system, and it has repeatedly failed while the company refuses to take responsibility. On 12/19/25, my system suddenly jumped off-grid and all power shut off. I contacted Enphase (the manufacturer), who helped me reboot the system and clearly told me that if the issue continued, I would need to contact Freedom Forever since they installed the system. The issue did continue — once a week later, again the following week, and most recently three consecutive days in a row. When I contacted Freedom Forever, they refused to assist and repeatedly told me to call Enphase, despite me explaining multiple times that Enphase had already confirmed Freedom Forever is responsible for inspecting the system. The representatives would not listen, offered no solutions, and attempted to end the call without helping. I called Enphase again, and they reaffirmed that Freedom Forever must inspect the system because Enphase does not handle onsite installation issues. At this point, I am being passed back and forth while Freedom Forever continues to take payment for a system that does not function reliably and leaves my home without power. If something goes wrong after installation, be prepared to get the runaround. Based on my experience, customer support and accountability are severely lacking.

David and crew showed up on time. They explained each step of the solar installation process that was planned and then the installation began. As I observed the process I noticed they were extremely careful about making sure the ladders and other equipment did not scratch, damage, or leave any marks on the exterior of my house. The solar panel installation and electrical work went smoothly and it was obvious they knew what they were doing and functioned as a 'well oiled machine'. I was also impressed of how careful they were of using safety ropes while working on the roof and all workers both on a roof and the ground war safety helmets. A Tesla battery and electrical box were mounted on the outside wall of my garage. These to connect into my main fuse box inside the garage. To do that they needed to run silver color metal tubing under the roof eaves to connect everything. I commented that I would paint the tubing after they left. David said we will paint the tubing. I offered to give him a can of paint that matced the exterior paint; he thanked me and said we went to Home Depot fid a color match of paint so the tubing will blend exactly. Now that's impressive! A requirement by the city is that any bushes plants or trees must not be within a certain number of feet of the Tesla battery mounted on the outside of the garage wall. When they told me about the ordinance I said I'll go get my hedge clippers and tools to take out the plants and hedges. David said we've got that handled and he began the process of removing everything and putting all the plants and clippings in their truck for disposal. He then cleaned up all of the debris from the cutting s and left the area perfectly clean. When everything was installed the crew went around and picked up any small debris remaining from the installation process.From start to finish everything was completed in approximately 7 hours. Bottom line: I am very pleased I chose freedom forever for my solar installatio. And I am very fortunate to have ended up with David and his crew. If anybody reading this decides to contract to have solar installed, I highly recommend you ask for this exceptionally professional crew. I now anxiously await the city inspector to approve the installation and start using the sun to power my house. Mixed review

My experience with sales and installation was great. A portion of the work originally planned ended up not being needed so I needed a change order to reduce the amount owed. I have been trying to resolve the change order and get my loan rewritten for the lower amount since August. It is now January and it’s still unresolved. Multiple emails to customers service went unanswered. When I finally have reached someone by phone they are courteous and helpful but whatever information they take to pass on appears to fall into a blackhole because I never receive any additional info until I call again. The length of time and lack of action on their part is very frustrating. That said as far as the system itself,I’m very happy both in performance and it’s unobtrusive attractive appearance

Worst Company I have ever dealt with. I purchase this solar system in April 2025 .I have made payments with no hookup on the grid until January 2026. I also lost the tax credit. Plus no one check local requirements got disapproved 3+ times..I am out several hundred dollars I am not A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
