BAD INVESTMENT

Installed by Enviro Solar. Promised savings of about $200 a month based on panels installed with a payback of $209 a month for 20 years after giving my tax credit to them or the loan company to be correct. For a year now I have compared last years bill and found I am paying between $80 to $100 less on my electric portion of my utility bill. So I am out about $300 a month to save about $100 a month. I have had no satisfaction when I realized Golf balls might damage my panels and squirrels are living under the panels. So far they have not chewed the wiring that has caused a problem. WHAT A CRAPPY INVESTMENT!

Solar Review

We had our solar panels installed 9-5-18. It is now 1-25-19 and they still aren't working correct. We keep getting the run around that they are working with technician to get out and get it working properly but still hasn't happened. We were also promised to be paid our electric bill since November until they got it running correctly but haven't received a dime. It is quite embarrassing when family and coworkers ask how we are enjoying it and we have to tell them the truth.

Great idea

No that there finally on 5 months later well from September till January they do work well .However I've had to miss 4 days of work made two loan payments before the pannels we're even on then to top it all off to reimburse me for the loan payments Derrick Bumfield told me he would overnight my reimbursement if I left a good review which is already owed to me in the first place this company does not tell the truth NOT A GOOD COMPANY TO BUY SOLAR FROM

Initially I was so excited because I had always wanted to get Solar. Initial contact with Sales Rep was superior. The sight survey went pretty quickly also. And all parties involved were very professional. The process to get installation going took longer than we were promised. Made contact with Project Manager and things finally got moving with installing the panels. It took forever to get the system connected and finally found out we were waiting on someone to pick up equipment from our local utility company. I ended up picking it up myself. Another two plus weeks goes by and finally got the system hooked up. There was an issue with the antenna that needed to be installed. That took an additional three plus months. I had my electric bill reduced by $169 for two months and then $189 for the month before last and last month $.78. I am paying $279 a month for the system. I am not seeing a real saving like I was promised. You call and call and maybe get the option to leave message to be called back that never happens. Then if you do get a live person they tell you what they think you want to hear and make promises that are never kept. I have been waiting for a check since September and have yet to get it. Very disappointed to say the least.

Unreliable, system has been broken for months

I feel lied to, the system has been down for 4 months. They don't have a 24/7 monitoring system, they don't install "All Texas" products.. they are from Korea and Germany. I've called them every week, their answer rate is 1 out of 8 calls. Their effort to fix the problem is 0, their effort to reach back is 0 and they will agree with you that everything is not as expected. I do not recomend this at all. Your roof is better off if you buy a $25k car and park it there.

Don't do it!

The salesman lied to us stating that we would often see 80% coverage. Turns out the real number is somewhere around 50% on a great day and only if we check it every day to make sure the panels are reading 29 out of 29 or else we need to reset the system. Unfortunately, we need to reset the system several times a month. In addition, the installers did some damage to our roof which our roofer explained while we were going through a hail damage claim. They try to keep us quiet with a settlement while stipulating our silence and artificial happiness. We did not accept the insignificant settlement because we want a product that works. They do not respond to emails and calls at this point.

Serious complaint

My frustration with Envirosolar has finally hit my limit. At this point, I would Never Reccomend this Company to anyone considering Solar. To be fair, the salesman was very nice & answered all of our questions & came back to check the installation & operation of the panels when he thought The installation was complete. Ours was a large installation of 84 panels. When he came out, one panel was not working & they were 4 Panels short. That was the beginning of the problems. This was back in August. Nothing happened so I contacted my Salesperson & he did answer my call while he was in Europe & said he would get it taken care of ASAP. Nothing happened so I did have some conversations with one of the trouble shooters. At some point Perdanalas Electric Co. did come out & inspect the system that was there & gave Enviosolar the go ahead to start the system up. I was called, again explained the missing panels but was walked thru the process of activating the system anyway. This large installation required 2 inverters. During the startup, one of the inverters did not show the light or lights to indicate that the system was working. This problem was noted & a work order to get it checked was initiated. Again nothing! Then I got a call from a woman who was supposed to get my concerns addressed & make sure a workorder was in the works. Nothing happened again. I called again to. complain again about the lack of action & to voice my frustration as this has drug on for so long. Apparently, during the interim, the woman Who was working on my issues was transferred & according to my new Guy, didn't leave any notes on my concerns or workorders. This time I got a call from a Guy who had been assigned to help resolve my issues & get someone out here. At this point, he asked if I had made any payments on the system, and I had not. He PROMISED he would call me everyday until this was resolved. This was about a week ago & I have not heard back from him since that call. This morning, my bank contacted me about a draw that came In involving this system. I told them to deny the draw. If my credit is negatively effected because I refused payment for an incomplete Solar System, then I will take other action against Envirosolar. Stay away from doing business with this company.

Lousy Service

We got our panels installed in March 2017 with the promise that they would monitor our system and if there was a problem they would be out to repair it. Well, in June our system had stopped working completely. They did not notify us of the problem. I caught the system failure myself. Called Envirsolar for a repairman to come out. No response. Called them 2 or 3 times a day. No response. Filed a complaint with BBB. Two dilator tehy

Poor company to deal with

Initial dealings with Envirosolar were fine. After sale service is nonexistent! Repeated attempts to contact the company with warranty issues have gone unanswered. This company is a BIG RISK! Do not deal with Envirosolar located in Houston, Texas. The local company (Harvest Solar) who installed the system has been outstanding and has provided the support badly needed to keep the system operating.

Promise not honored

Their sales rep promised us financing with a deferred (16%) interest loan that he would personally help us refinance before any interest kicked in, resulting in a 0% interest pay-out. Toward the end of the deferral period, he was NO help and we had to find our own (10%) replacement loan. Our payments went from about $500 to over $950 and we will end up paying over $18,000 in interest that makes the investment NOT WORTH IT, compared to savings on our electric charges.

Buyer Beware

Once they get you to sign and install the panels they forget you. I had my panels installed May of 2017. The THERMAL BARRIERl was never received as promised and my utility bill during the summer was horrible. I have called several times and no one returns my calls. They also sent me an email that I would be getting a rebate so I can purchase the THERMAL BARRIER on my own, never received it. I’m ready to go to the defenders since I’m not getting any where with these people.

Big Scam

The representative told me that there many surrounding homes were taking advantage of the Solar Panel program because it had a government rebate of thousands and another plus was the electric company would give me another rebate just for signing on plus if they had a payback program I could sell my unused power back to the them. This would mean I would end up paying nothing for the panels. My wife was hesitant at first but later he convinced her that it was great opportunity for us. As he was talking to me he saw one of my classic cars and he even offered to give me a $9,000 credit if I would sign over one of the cars. He said he could get a $9,000 discount for family and friends. He had a customer checklist and said the original price would be $39,800 with payments of $226.57 for 240 months at 6.99%. Minus the $9,00 and rebates it would be about $28,000 total. After the panels were installed which didn't happen until 2 months after we signed up no one came to turn them on or make sure if it was installed correctly. I had to call them constantly to come and turn the system on. I even went to complain to my electric company about not getting credit on the use but they said they had not even been informed I had installed it. It took my 3 months from the time it was installed to when I got my first credit of $38.00. I was surprised at how little it was but I thought it was because it was probably for only 1/2 month or something. My next credit was less then my wife started on me blaming me for listening to them so I began trying to contact them but to no avail. I did talk to some representative with the name of Erica, Arron, Stephanie and Daniel. They all said they would look into it and may receive a call from them but nothing has happened up to now. My wife suggested I stop paying until I got a response from someone. So far we are in the hole $39,000 with the panels producing $7.00 a month plus a monthly loan payment of $300 added to my regular monthly electric bill. Something is wrong here but they won't answer my calls plus their site of envirolarpower.com does not exist anymore. I was also suppose to have had a contract mailed to me from them but got nothing. My wife and I are Seniors and we feel cheated and scammed.

Non responsive company

Signed an contract in January, 2017, was told and contract stated that all work would be completed by March 30th. System was finally installed no May 1st, failed cities 1st inspection, passed upon 2nd inspection. I had to get involved to get Oncor out to inspection completed. it finally went online June 17, 2017. November 13, 2017 and the work order is still open, SolarSeal has not been installed. The salesman that sold me the system has left the company, he gave me a new contact and that person (Nate) will not return my calls, have left at least a dozen messages. Have left even more messages with customer service, no response. I would not recommend this company and am very disappointed. I hope this saves someone else from making the same mistake.

Get it up!

Contracted to have this system installed in May. By the end of July the system was installed except for the solar barrier in the attic. I was told that the system needed to be inspected before it could be turned on. Many inspectors came and did their thing and still the system is now running. The solar barrier has been installed but there are still no led lights and the sense monitor has never been enabled. This is one very frustrating company to deal with since there is no one to contact except the salesman.I'm ready to have it removed!
