Couldn't be happier

Back in Sept 2015, we started the process of selecting a solar panel company for our home. We met and received quotes from 6 different companies. Five of those quote were either by non-staff sales persons who were working on independent commissions and were obviously padding their quotes or when we did fact-checking with CPS concerning costs, timelines, etc...were proven to be just out-right lying to us. CAM Solar was the only company who provided accurate numbers to us and made no promises that they could not keep. We got our rebate from CPS which was immediately applied to our financing of the system we selected, got the loans for the remainder that we needed and then the install/turn on was very much in line with what CAM Solar staff stated. The actual install on the house itself only took 2-3 days. We did have a couple of issues with wifi connectivity which CAM Solar techs fixed, but that had absolutely no effect on actual solar production. Since then we pretty much carry a credit with CPS year round. Our system even survived a couple of hail storms with no damage.

The best

From the knowledgable sales (Braxton) to the finished product it was a great experience despite a ground rod going thru my drain pipe for my pool in their defense I didn't even know it was there. Simon the install manager was on top of it and kept me in the loop every step of the way on the repairs. He even bought the pool chemicals and are going to pay the water bill. They are simply the best!!!

CAM Solar was good to work with and they delivered

CAM Solar's installation was later than we expected but they lived up to their promises in every way. We are very happy with having solar and it is working as presented! All their workers were very nice and sales was responsive to our every question or concern. Highly recommend them! Thank you for helping us save$$$ on our energy usage!

Cord Brown was great with all his work. He came out twice for it and did an amazing job each time. He is very informative about the products and very professional. Angel Casillas worked on my thermostat and did a good job also.

We signed up to have CAM Solar install solar panels on our home. They were clear and informative from start to finish. They were here when they said they’d be here. Installed the panels and cleaned up any mess they made. Very professional. The only waiting time we experienced was waiting on the city inspectors to inspect the work.

Excellent Install Experience

CAM have been very responsive and helpful throughout the process. They worked with us to iterate on the design to meet our needs and concerns and then got it installed and the site cleaned up without any need for us to request anything extra. They have been responsive and professional after the install as well, and totally handled the interactions with the city and the power company.

Excellent Communication throughout Process

I was very pleased with CAM Solar throughout the process from sales through installation. Our sales rep gave us all of the information that we needed and was never pushy. Once we'd signed the paperwork, we worked primarily with an admin who helped keep us informed every step of the way. I knew what to expect and was always able to get a quick response to any questions that I had. The installers were always on time and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend CAM Solar to our neighbors, family, or friends.

Very professional and responsive

I appreciated the entire process. The sales team were courteous and quick to provide complete information and to design the solution based on my needs and the best products and most price effective solution. The installation team were very quick and did a wonderful job. No scraps and nails left behind. The training on the system and what to expect as time goes by. The only item that could have been better was the explanation of how rebates and tax credits would flow. Basically the local power company rebate is automatically applied to the contract price. The Tax credit is simple to enter into the IRS tax return but you need to know what value to use on the form, which is the total sale amount, in my case it was the LoanPal (financing company loan amount). I put $0 down so the loan amount was the figure to use. Otherwise, great service and the purchase should be a no-brainer for everyone. You immediately reap the benefits of lower net utility expense/costs. In my case about $100 p/mo savings.

Great local company

We did our do diligence and we researched this company and two others. They had the best price because we go more back for going local. Their pitch wasn't as dance as the others but the panels produced almost the exact same as the others but as I said, we got more back from CPS and the government for going with a local company. Only slight downfall was the fact if you want to talk to someone live about a problem, you have to leave a message and they call you back. If you choose them, make sure to inquire about the extended warranty for the panels.

Very glad I chose CAM Solar, I had multiple quotes before but they stood out because everyone else seemed like they were just trying to sell me anything and it got confusing but CAM took the time to really explain everything to where I fully understood how all this works and why it makes sense for my situation. The whole process took about 3 months just like they said. Very happy and would recommend again!

SUPERB Professionals and Equipment!

I have had my system for over a year going on two years, and I am amazed!!! This system has saved me on average of $250-$300 per month on my electric bills!!!! I went from over $300 per month in the middle of summer to $65! This winter i had one month where I didn't even have an electric bill!! As with everything man made, there will be some problems here and there. My system stopped working this month, but CAM Solar professionals came out and fixed my system in less than an hour. Thanks guy!!!

I love it

CAM Solar did a wonderful job on my solar panel installation and the price was right. CPS considers $3 to $4 per watt as a good price. CAM Solar put mine in for $2.81/watt. During the hot summer months my electric bill is less than $15 per month. NICE!!!!!! The system will pay for itself in 9 - 10 years; faster if CPS raises its rates.(Which you know they will)

Go with Cam Solar

I spent a lot of time researching solar energy and Solar Companies. Cam Solar sold me with their knowledge, professionalism, and follow through start to finish. My sales person Elliott was outstanding and guided me through the entire process. The installation went well and occurred on schedule. The system is working great and so far has produced as advertised. The Service Manager Carl is extremely responsive and has always taken care of any concerns.

Would Recommend Again

I sat through 3 different Solar companies proposals and CAM Solar stood out above them all. They didn't give me the typical sales pitch that the others did and were straight forward about what was best for me and my situation and they were the first to really explain to me how Solar actually works with the utility and why it makes sense, the others just seemed like they were trying to sell me the biggest system possible with little explanation. Everything took about 3 months like they said, very happy, would definately recommend!

Solar System Installed in May 2017

Cam Solar did an excellent job. They are were extremely professional and explained everything involved throughout the installation. They cleared everything that was required from the HOA acceptance to approval by the CPS Energy Utility company. Most surprising was that the electric bill for my 3,000 foot single level home reduced from approximately $2,300.00 to less than $200 per year. I am completely satisfied.
