I spoke with Daniel Hanson,great guy very professional ,knowledge about solar panels,very helpful and understanding.he did a great job in helping me decide on what solar panels I should get and how many I should get for my home, he also gave me a great price on lg 380 solar panels.he is a great asset to the company.I would recommend him in a heart beat.I give him 5 stars.

Great Consult and Service

James was very thorough and knowledgeable when walking me through the proposal and how the company differentiates itself. They gave me a great rate compared to others I’d prospected and I am excited to work with them!

5 months later and no working system

Signed the contract with Zenernet in the first week of May and still do not have a working system over 5 months later. The sales experience was positive with the salesperson being very responsive when creating my proposal. But that was the only positive experience. Since then, it has been nothing but delays, poor communication, screwups and apathy from Zenernet. In choosing Zenernet you are then dealing with two separate companies Zenernet and whatever installer they choose. The first indication was a letter I received from the installer notifying me that they could place a lien against my property if they were not paid by Zenernet. The installer, Ecobright, was also located > 300 miles away from my home, so everything took a long time to schedule. The inspection took weeks to get scheduled after the install. On the first attempt the inspection failed due to incorrect electrical work. The 2nd inspection was scheduled for two weeks later. The inspector showed up, but the installer was nowhere to be found. On the third attempt the inspection failed yet again because the plans were wrong. That was ~2 weeks ago, and the 4th attempt has yet to be scheduled. It behooves me why a company that is in the Solar business can’t seem to get things right. When emailing the project coordinator and the installer I often received no responses. The project coordinator was replaced with someone who at least returns emails however nothing has improved. At one point in this saga, I was told by the installer that the installation was complete. This was confirmed by the project coordinator. The installer then showed up two weeks later unannounced to finish the installation which was news to me. I had to cancel my plans so the installer could get into my house. Zenernet was completely clueless of the status of what was going on with the installation. If you want to have a painless experience with Solar, I suggest you look elsewhere. In fact, I have friends who started Solar contracts with other companies such as Sunrun later than I did. Their systems have already been in operation for several weeks. I sit waiting with an expensive boat anchor on my roof with nothing but excuses from Zenernet. I am sure I will get a stock “I am sorry you had a bad experience” message from Zenernet in response to this. But that is what I would expect. Words but no actions.

Solar panels issue

Back in 2019, I was looking for a solar company. I found Zenernet, I saw the reviews and it sounded legit. I made a call, spoke to one of their employees, they explained to me how the system worked. We agreed on 32 panels, the process taking about 2 months. The installers did a great job, however recently my bill went from $14 to $40. My Edison bills changed between $145 to $185. I reached out to Zenernet's customer service, tried to get a hold of them for a week with zero response. I then decided to speak to the sales department, explained the problem. Customer service then called me back, the person Muzala, requested my Edison bills. She stated that she'll get back to me in 2 days. I waited a week without any response. I decided to take the proactive approach and call them back. She then told me that I'd have to pay for the technicians they sent even though I had my warranty. Waited another 2 weeks for a response, all the while I find out that I have a broken panel. Then called customer service again, the same service representative stated that she would call some other day to sort out the problem. However, she has failed at her job and it's been 3 weeks since I last spoke to her. Their customer service is abysmal, and now regretting hiring this company to do my solar panels. My biggest issue is that I have the warranty for my solar panels but due to their horrid customer service they have done nothing to fix my solar panels. Now, I am stuck with a 25 year contract with a company with one of the worst customer services I have ever encountered. If your planning to get Zenernet, I implore you to hire a local company that will honor your warranty.

Amazing

After looking at eight different solar companies I have to say that ZENERNET was the best in all respects. The price was the best, the customer service was incredible, Rob Healy was above and beyond wonderful. And the installation team of Anthony Dwyer, Aaron Bates and Nick Angelino Were super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Bravo. I highly recommend!!

i signed my contract in april 2021. they want 80 % money in advance.sales person was very good after sign contract they never call me. after 4 month they install solar then 2 more month with approval . now 1 1/2 month gone no PG&E approval to PTO means permission to opt . my 8 month over now still can not use solar. I PAID FULL thats bad do not use this company please .totally rip off.

Top notch customer service

I was extremely impressed with level of communication, transparency, and the time they spent answering all my questions. Compared to other companies that quoted this project, Zenernet was by far the most responsive and helpful during the initial stages. Highly cost competitive too.

Personable and Professional

In doing research and reading reviews, I had already determined that Zenernet was the company to choose for "going green." They were informative and knowledgable without being condescending, and their warranty and monitoring service are definite selling points. Extra kudos to Brian Buffington, who was patient and understanding with our health delays, equipment challenges, and financial situation. You'd have to look long and hard to find a better experience with the setup and decision process.

The best Solar Company out there in my opinion is Zenernet, and I would definitely recommend them to all families and friends. Their consultant are honest, very knowledgeable and upfront from the start of my process. I’m truly grateful to have chosen Zenernet to get my home powered by Solar. Their Staff Taylor, Chansa ,Andrew, and Richard were very professional and make sure they answered all my questions and concerns. I’m active duty Marine that is currently deployed and they were able to work with me, despite me being in a different time zone. I will forever be grateful to Zenernet for standing with Service Members and their families. Hands down they are the best solar company out there. Excellent and Transparent Experience

We went with Zenernet because the entire experience has been smooth and transparent. Rob H. Was very detailed and patient with all the questions we had. As an architect, I loved the design process we took to make sure the panels looked nice instead of just placing them willy-nilly. Loved working with them. Now we’re just waiting for the permits and the installation. I hope the next few steps will be just as easy and worry-free.

Worst service ever

I signed my contract April 12th, 2021 and still trying to get the solar system done. The sales guy Stand was awesome, but once they had me in contract it was all downhill! They don’t even do the install. They subcontract the work to a local business near me. The company is ecobright solar and they are the worst!!!! They failed inspection 3 times! This whole ordeal has been a horrible experience!! I would not recommend Zenernet your better off finding a company near you because that’s what there going to do. HORRIBLE Company!!!

Solar Installation Presentation

Scott Michel was very flexible to accommodate my schedule for his video presentation. He was friendly and professional in his video presentation. The presentation was very nicely done and he patiently answered all my questions. He promptly followed the presentation with his proposals for solar installation. The proposals were comprehensive and included my preferred options. The equipment that Zenernet proposed was top-rated. All in all, the only reason that I did not opt for Zenernet was the high price that was outside my budget.

Good company, some more room for improvement

They worked diligently to get me a good price. Installation went flawlessly with Ecobright Solar. When applying fir interconnect application, they’ve assumed SQFT of my home instead of verifying with us, correction took longer adding to wait! Concierge change added time for her to come up to speed although, in the end she did better! Best part, project was completed timely, rest are small glitches only, happens with any solar companies, getting permits with the city, working with PG&E are a bigger pain that they handled well! I recommend Zennernet for your solar project!

Service on sales side was and continues to be excellent.

Research concluded Zenernet as a top rated and recommended. Technology matches up with most, if not all, companies. I appreciate their style of business; low key....not pushy (like most of their competition IS). I feel Zenernet offered the best bang for the buck and was able to meet my budget needs/desired financial plan.

I consulted with a few companies. This was the most responsive, professional and NOT pushy. After I contracted with them, every step of the way, I was fully informed. If I ever had a question, help was easily accessible, and someone answered my calls/texts/ right away, or got back to me literally within minutes to hours. never more than that. excellent customer service combined with quality was my experience with zenernet. I truly could NOT have asked for a better experience.

Easy, innovative process with good communication throughout

Zenernet's sales consultation approach was easy and seamless. The online session with the sales rep was quick and informative. Being able to see the array layout in real time with estimate cost and lifetime savings made the buying decision easy. The Customer Service team that managed the installation was communicative and kept me up to date throughout the process. The only minor critique is something outside of Zenernet's control, which is how slow ComEd is to respond to switching to net metering. Overall, a great experience.

Find another solar provider

It's been 5 months (and counting) since we signed our solar agreement with Zenernet. They did not come over to do the preliminary inspection and after that, kept making mistake after mistake. Their team has been over at our house over 8 times now (and counting) with many problems still to be fixed. The inspectors even came before Zenernet returned to fixed all their problems and found out even more issues with the solar system that they installed. When we tried to reach out to them, they were extremely slow in their responses, extremely. It took 2 months for them to return one email. Then they left our home with 3 unsightly holes (one of them was extremely large!). How can a professional business come and drill a bunch of holes in our house, not do anything about it, and not respond to our emails and calls to do something proactive about this? We are still waiting for the last microinverter and all the fixes that they have to do, but we don't even know when this is going to be finished. All this to say, even though they may seem prompt and provide the best quote upfront, DON'T BE DECEIVED! They are extremely negligent and unresponsive!

Has taken awhile to get everything approved by electric service provider, HOA and city permits, but finally my system is up and working fabulously. Solar paid for this last month’s bill plus credit of $232. WoooHooo! Zenerenet was easy to work with, described everything step-by-step, and was responsive and friendly when I had questions. Loving my system so far.
