Bruce was awesome. He always kept us in the loop with what was going on and answered all our questions. He works late so my husband was able to be present for all the conversations. I chose Vibe Solar as they are a locally veteren owned company that does not use sub contractors. From start to finish Vibe was professional yet friendly, with great communication regarding all aspects of the installation. Rick even helped navigate my HOA requirements for approval. Since the system went live in 2023 I have paid zero to SoCal Edison as the solar system supplies all needs. Vibe was there post haste when a panel stopped responding due to a cabling malfunction and had it up and running under warrenty. I highly recommend Vibe Solar and value that they are not a nationwide reseller that sub contracts installation to a low bidder. All Vibe personnel are company employees which is a very good thing. The crew was courteous, considerate, and efficent. The system and pricing were most ompetitive - going with Vibe was the best decision ever.

I have had my set up for about 5 years. When they to my house for the estimate it was very pleasant and informative. The installation was immediate and professional. I rate this company top tier very thorough walk thru any problems that came about were solved and any questions I had they came back with an answer there was delays but the company would talk us through and let us know what's going on and explain why it's delaying very through company and I do save a lot of money a month from using solar than just going straight Edison electricity

Hands down best customer service

If you’re considering Vibe Solar, please read this before signing anything. My experience with this company has been nothing short of exhausting. The project started back in 2024, and after an initial proposal they simply disappeared for months. They resurfaced in December, when I had to cancel because my daughter was weeks from being born — a delay caused entirely by their lack of communication. We restarted the project in 2025, and again it took them from May until July just to send a final proposal. They scheduled the installation and promised repeatedly that my system would be up and running as soon as the install was complete. This promise was important because I already had an existing Sunrun system, and Vibe disconnected it to route power to new Tesla batteries. Installation was July 17th. My solar didn’t start producing again until mid-November. That’s three full months of zero solar production in the middle of summer — months when solar production is highest. My electric bill jumped from $300/month to nearly $1,000/month, on top of the $320/month loan for the new panels and batteries. All of this because Vibe Solar made promises without understanding the legal requirements for my system. The reason for the 3-month delay? Vibe never submitted the required application for the meter collar — a component that only my utility (SDGE) is authorized to install. They spent months blaming SDGE, but when I personally dug into the issue, I discovered: • SDGE does have a vendor support line • Vibe Solar never called it • Vibe never submitted the application for the collar in the first place In other words, the entire delay was caused by Vibe failing to do the most basic part of their job. Even worse, the salesperson had been promising reimbursement since July, acknowledging the issue and repeatedly saying he was “working on it.” After MONTHS of this, today they finally came back with an offer of $250 — a number so insulting it almost feels like a joke. That doesn’t even cover one week of the extra bills their negligence caused. They offer $1,500 per referral to new customers, but when they are the ones who cause months of financial damage, they think $250 is “fair.” It’s unbelievable. Their message even tries to shift responsibility away from themselves, claiming they “could not have known” about the collar requirement — which is ironic, because THEY are the supposed experts. Not me. They made the promises. They disconnected my functioning system. They failed to file the required paperwork. And then they left me paying quadruple electric bills for months. To be clear: ✔️ They promised the system would run after installation ✔️ They disconnected my old working solar ✔️ They failed to submit paperwork ✔️ They failed to follow up with SDGE ✔️ They caused three months of massive electric bills ✔️ They offered only $250 after months of excuses ✔️ They have shown zero real accountability I cannot recommend Vibe Solar to anyone. Their communication, project management, and follow-through were consistently unreliable at every stage, and the financial impact on my household was real and significant. If you value honesty, competence, and accountability — go with literally any other solar company.

After agreeing for their work they ended up coming down and providing me the best ways to figure everything out. Installation had some hiccups, yet they remedied them asap. He walked me through understanding the new monitoring app and what to expect from my first utility bill. Final Recommendation: I would recommend Vibe Solar to anyone looking for solar. In an industry where companies can pop up and disappear, the fact that they have been in business for over 20 years was a major factor for me. I have friends who used newer solar companies that unfortunately went out of business, leaving them with no support when issues came up. They were not given the after-installation care that Vibe Solar can offer. It gives me incredible confidence that if I have any issues in the future, Vibe Solar will actually be there to honor their warranty and help. If you are considering solar, ask for Joey. The combination of a stable, long-running company and a dedicated, supportive point of contact makes all the difference.

at first I didn't understand how the installation work, my shingles were nail that became a big problem and they came through with Jessica & management came though to figure out how to solve my roofing now I have solar problem and they did. $59.00 dollars a month for Edison is bill great. thank you for all you've done

All was good with vibe solar till they got paid , I noticed they wasn't as friendly as they was before . Then after I got permission to operate we started to have issues with a breaker kicking and it's getting hot . They don't care , I tried now for a month to get them to come and inspect the breaker. I have a concern of my home. catching on fire. They don't care at all . I'm sure they will read this review and they will know who I am. All I can say is enphase and the finance company is now involved. Soon I'm going to get a lawyer. I'm not going to be taking advantage of and let my home catch fire . We had an 11kW ground-mounted solar array installed by Vibe Solar earlier this year and just received "Permission to Operate" from Edison roughly a week ago. The process of getting this array installed and operational wasn't entirely smooth. There were some problems along the way, mostly due to COVID and supply chain logistical issues, and also L.A. County bureaucracy with the whole permitting and inspection process, but we got there in the end. Each time a problem came up, Vibe handled and resolved it professionally and to our satisfaction. The end result is a very nice solar array that is sure to save us a ton of money on our electric bills going forward.

Alan was a pleasure to work with and was honest and up front from the start. They gave me an excellent price and beat 3 other companies without even having to haggle. I had a ton of questions over the few days I was deciding and Alan answered them immediately and even gave me YouTube videos and references to get a better understanding of solar. I can’t say enough good things about Alan and this company, I’ve already recommended them to a friend who also had a great experience and loved how smooth the process was!

I first contacted Vibe in May of 2021 for a solar quote. I was referred by a friend of mine, and he said Alan was the best in town. Alan provided me with a quote and answered all of my questions, and when I said I wasn't quite ready yet, he said, No Problem! Let us know when you are. Fast forward to September and I contacted Alan, who had, to his credit, only reached out once to make sure I was still in the market. He wasn't pushy in any way, which I appreciated. Once I committed and told Alan I wanted to get the solar up as quick as possible, they were on it. Installers were out the following Monday to measure my roof and draw out the system. Engineering got plans to the city to get a permit issued, and within a few days after that (paperwork signed digitally) solar panels were on the roof. Things did stall for a few weeks while waiting for Edison to commit to a day to upgrade the main panel, but Vibe kept me in the loop the entire time. Same with the final inspection. A few reschedules due to the inspector's timeline, but I was aware of what was going on each step of the way. 10/10 I would recommend Vibe Solar.
