Going Solar with SunPower by Venture Solar

The process of going solar with SunPower by Venture Solar was quite simple. The whole process lasted about two and a half months between the initial analysis visit to the day the panels were turned on. Brent was very good at explaining the benefits going silar and purchasing vs leasing; all the federal, state, and local tax incentives, the most efficient system for my home, and financing options. The installation crew was very professional and courteous; my dog loved to be pet by them. Jestina was, and is, always in touch to ensure customer satisfaction. So far I’m loving my system. My pannels produce energy even when it’s cloudy and drizzling. The savings are unbelievable; I never imagined going green would be so financially sound.

Solar experience

From beginning to end, Sunpower by Venture Solar has been very professional, courteous and helpful . The salesman, installers and office personnel were always on time, knowledgable and efficient. I would definitely recommend this company. I just wish we had more sunny days .

Solar Panels

We did not choose Solar system for our home on a whim, our friends had it, when we asked them what company they have, they could not say. We have been contemplating this issue for a couple of years, still leary about the pros and cons, we decided to get started. We received lots of calls from several companies, for no reason we selected SunPower. We compared 2 sales personal from 2 separate franchise. We loved them both, but the final decision was solely dependent on cost and the type of service offered. We are very tough people and we are not convinced easily. We had questions, lots of them - logistics, estactics, time frame, money saving opportunities etc. But Andrew, from Sun Power by Venture is knowledgeable and pleasant and explained every little details to us. Our System was installed and running within 4 months with no problem. We have the support of the SunPower by Venture team calling us and ensure that all is well. What more can one ask for! Not only are we saving money with clean energy, we are now the guru of energy saving ideas. We are totally happy with our system size of 4.91!

Great incentives

I have my solar panels working since october 2017. It takes some time depending on the time of year but i started to save money now and i built some credit. Plus my property tax abatement starts in july for 4 years and i will get a full income tax credit next year for 5 years

Love being solar

I'd like to start by saying that we LOVE being a part of the solar community. We are leasing our panels and went solar as of Nov 2017. Since, we've accumlated points and haven't paid a single electric bill other than the standard service charged by con ed. Installation was quick and efficient withvno problems during inspections and filing for tax credits. I'd like to say that regardless that we are beyond happy with going solar, there are a few things that have stopped us from giving 5 stars. Number one is customer service. I feel that the companies multiple sub divisions sometimes gets hard to get into contact with the right person the first time when you need them. Also our critter guards fell off of our roof. That right there is a huge safety hazard which could have turned bad for us if it had injured someone. They were quick to come remove the guards but told me they would follow up to re-install them in the spring. Unfortunately no one followed up with me and I heard critters under my panels causing me to have to call them and wait almost 2 weeks to have the guards put back up. During this waiting period more of the guards started to hang off the side of my roof causing another potential for liability problems. The critter guards have been a big problem, but I hope its fixed now. The second thing which prevented us from giving 5 stars was there was a breach in our contract thanks to con ed. Before the negative part of this, I'd like to say that our sales guy, Brent was great! However in our lease agreement we were promised that once annually, con ed would buy back our solar credits at approximately 4 cents per credit. As of 2018 a retroactive law went into place stating that as of march 2017 anyone who went solar after is no longer entitled to the buy back, but instead we hold our credits indefinitely. I'm not totally upset by this because we dont have much energy demand here so our credits keep racking up and when we go to sell our home we can use that as buying power to help sell our home with the rest of the solar lease remaining. In conclusion, despite the few flaws we have encountered, we've tried to make them into a postive because overall we LOVE being solar and we are extremely grateful that Venture Solar knocked on our door!

I had my mind made up already. Solar was not for me, but I kept the appointment anyway just to hear them out. Every question, doubt and concern was addressed and all of my preconceived misconceptions were corrected. Installation was quick, clean and professional. Already producing more than I was told and the summer months are still ahead of us.

AWESOME Experience!

Form Beginning to end just a great experience. There was no hard selling. The sales person was involved from beginning through completion and still picks up phone for me. The installers were great guys - very mindful of my attention to detail. And I AM SAVING A TON OF MONEY!!!!

Free Critter Guard

SunPower installed a critter guard for free. We are very happy that this was done as the technicians discovered a squirrel nest between the roof and the panels.

We hopefully install and lunch electric free life...We already couple years make a lot of research to find releable company, who can do this in our budget, with our demand for full power coverage and easy to pay plan...But honestly,,,No one can do what we really need, instead of only one company... as God hear as we found Venture Solar with excellent team, and all process from first day discussion until now just amazing. They did all processes with documents, approvals and installations. On the end we got latest advanced high efficiency solar panels and our great system is working very well. Every day when I'm looking how my electric meter going backward I'm just said thanks and God Bless all this Venture Solar team members. After my wife and I researched for six months, we went with this all MADE IN THE USA product.The salesman (Pete Hryb) came back to our house five times before we made our final decision.We also visited two other homes who had already had these panels installed and working.The members of both families couldn't say enough, of how satisfied they were & now, neither can we.I recommended this company to my neighbor, who had already signed on with another company.He was able to cancel it and go with Venture Solar.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.IT IS SECOND TO NONE.In addition, all who are employed by them are honest, helpful & get back to you immediately.

Everyone that I've dealt with at SunPower has provided me with a positive experience. Starting with Chris, the Sales Rep, then continuing with Jestina, the Customer Experience Rep, and Nicole, who preceded her, they have all been totally professional. I am extremely happy with my solar system . From the time that it was installed to present , which has been 5 months , all promises were met . Rebates, tax write offs and the savings on my electric bill have all been met with gratitude by my wife and myself . All in all , it has been a great experience so far .
