Roof leak for 4 yrs

My roof leak started 4 yrs now,ever since I got solar,they would come and fix it few months later it would start leaking ...been waiting for over 3 months for them to come fix it

WOrst Experience

I turned down my home solar contract with another company for Venture Solar because they offered me a more affordable process, warranties, and price comparisons. However, after signing the contract, passing my credit check, spending more than two hours inside and outside my house inspecting, and receiving all of my documents and warranties, I spoke with IGS (the financial bank that provided the loan to the company) and provided my personal information. This whole process took hours, days, and weeks. I was waiting for Venture to install solar at my home, but I didn't hear back from them for more than a couple of weeks. After I followed up on my own to give them a call, I discovered that IGS was having some problems with my project. As a result, Venture Solar then moved my project to Posigen, another financial bank. Once more, the entire procedure took weeks, and nothing came of it in the end. The scary thing is that they gathered all of my sensitive personal information, including my bank account. Ultimately, though, there was no follow-up, everything was botched up, and there was no outcome. Are they managing a business, or is it just not funny???? Where are honesty, customer service, and trust????

Excellent install and strong communication throughout

I had a great experience with Venture Solar from start to finish. The sales process was low-pressure and informative—they helped me clearly understand the incentives, system design, and what to expect. Everything stayed on schedule, and their install team was professional, efficient, and respectful of the property. Communication was consistent at every stage, and even after the system was live, their support team was responsive with any questions I had. Highly recommend if you're looking for a local team that actually follows through.

Excited for solar!

Tyler and his team were awesome! It was really fun being able to see the metering as soon as the install was finished. Josh and Dan were super friendly and informative during the initial calls, and the overall process was really seamless.

Misleading Information

Three-star rating isn't harsh, its accurate. Venture Solar does take care of everything on their end. Installation and inspection were quick and easy. No complaints on that end. My biggest issue is with my representative; they had misled me into my contract with Venture Solar. I had asked for more panels on my system multiple times as was repeatedly denied. I was told extra panels can be added on if needed later on. To my surprise when I asked about this offer, I was told it would be a cash offer. Now my production level and consumption level do not offset which is the entire reason for going solar, but I will have two bills, Solar & from the electric company. I had spoken with my representative before posting this. I hope you reply back so we can discuss/remedy this situation. Thank you

Horrible customer service

Venture is great at selling you the package, projecting insane savings and once it’s all installed the follow through is awful. 2 years after my install I called to ask them to come out to look at the panels as I they were not producing what they should in full sun in the summer. What they did do is try to belittle me and tell me that my panels were fine. No service needed. To get me off the phone they said a supervisor would call me back. I’m still waiting. If you’re sold on getting solar, make sure you call anyone else.

poor experience

We were approached by the company in early December and got enrolled. They said that the installation would be done within 2 weeks in Jan. This is June and we still have no word from them. They keep giving excuses.

dec put on solar panels , no issues till march roof leaking they came bake 2 times for 20 minutes then said not there issues, not June 1 no call back ghosting my calls an text not in hand of insurance ceiling all wet and mold need panels to come down for new roof no answer next news channels next anyone looking run not one thing that they said what they was going to do that they did all lies

Tim is inconsiderate

We have been dealing with leaks in our roof since the panels were installed. We’ve waited several days for responses for this and when someone comes out to inspect the roof everything appears fine. Now our ceiling is damaged. We asked for someone to check again, the person came today and said that we need a roof contractor “and unfortunately they’re (venture solar) is going to stick you with the bill. My husband messaged Tim who responded that this is our responsibility. I texted Tim who wasn’t considerate enough to text or call back as I requested. After my meeting I called Tim. I introduced myself and he said “how can I help you?” I said “our roof is leaking.” He said “I’m aware” I asked him to repeat what he said because I wasn’t sure I heard him correctly. He then cut me off while saying “your case has been escalated and I have nothing more to do with it.” I will NOT be recommending this company to anyone. Most people aren’t recognizing leaks because they’re probably in the attic. We have vaulted ceilings. This is not ok.

Horrible company

They completely messed up my system size. Now I get no benefits of solar, a huge electric bill and a solar bill! Not to mention that their customer service is about selling the panels. It takes forever to get anyone about issues. When you do theyll blame yourself or someone else. Don't buy here

Not very reliable

Has been trying to contact venture solar for explanations as to why there is nothing in my solar bank. I was told someone would call, but it has been a month and no call. Received my second light bill and there is no credit at all. Need some explanation.

Venture Solar

Overall, great quality panels and installation. I've seen/heard about other companies and the products they use, and the product Venture uses is top notch. Also, the accompanying app makes it easy to see how your production in live time to make sure you're always aware of your system's efficiency. 4 star rating because of a few administrative setbacks, however even so, Venture continued to work with me until my concerns were resolved. I would use Venture again for my solar needs, and plan to as my electrical needs grow.

Horrible service

I have been trying for the past 2 years to solve my issues with state inspection and still have not passed the state inspection. I have called and left massages and no one follows up and I never got anything that I was offered at presentation. Very disappointed with this company.

Quick install

The day after a major snowstorm the crew came and had my roof reinforced and most of the track put up outside in a few hours. This was after they cleaned all the snow from the roof. Second day another couple of hours the electric was connected and the panels went on. The crew was very professional and polite. Great experience overall!

Nice and Easy Experience

I had my system installed in 2024 - quoting and installation were quick and easy. Had a small hiccup that required changing conduit on the roof to pass inspection - Venture Solar handled it quickly and my finance first payment were adjusted without any input from me. I was happy to use them look forward to saving money on my electric bills over time.

Installation

Solar panels were installed yesterday. Weather was iffy but Brandon made safe decisions for his crew. They adjusted what they needed to do and when the weather improved, they safely did the roof work. All crew members were professional and communication and teamwork was fantastic.

Great Installation Crew

The installation crew was fantastic. They were very professional, kept the yard and driveway clean, made as little noise as possible. They kept me informed of the steps they had to complete the installation. They did a super job!

Liars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a senior citizen on a fixed budget and they promised that my bill will be fixed after their calculations, that the meter would be swapped, that I won't have to pay anything extra to electric company and that my wall which they destroyed would be fixed and looking as good as new. Well, guess what! Lies, all lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wall was not fixed, and no matter how many times I contacted them to get it done it's been 6 months and nothing was done. I am being charges but the solar and by the electric company double of what I was paying before solar and I don't know how to get out of it now. My meter has not been swapped for the solar meter so whatever extra is produced is not going anywhere. My summer bills with the air condition and winter bills were on the average $220 a month and now with solar my bill is close to $300 a month and it's not even summer. And nobody is replying to my emails anymore, nobody know anything and why this is happening, I am just getting a runaround from one person to another. Nothing can be cancelled nothing can be done that's it. they have me by the throat now and nobody gives a shit about lies their sales people, managers, and other numerous executives feeding us when trying to push their solar on to us. LIES LIES AND MORE LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I email I call and nothing
