Venture Solar

I was very pleased with the whole solar purchase and installation process. It took longer than expected because of permitting and power company permitting - nothing to do with Venture. The follow up software process was also very good. Overall pleased so far.

Skeptical at first what a difference

It took about 3 to 4 months very professional company kept me up to date on everything. It moved very quickly. Customer service always available emails on time. True to their word. My first electric bill with my air conditioners two of them running on economy 24/7 was 26$. I pay venture a fee of $100 a month. This is a big difference for my electric bill last month which was over 300$. This company is 100% true to their word not a rip off trust me them I'm a New Yorker who retired to Connecticut I trust no one

Installation

Went smoothly

I was expecting plenty of issues, but the only issue I encountered was the fault of the NYC DOB and it was cleared up by the project manager. One of the owners called me on a Saturday to make sure things were going as planned. All the installers were great and super polite and worked very clean. They came with a broom and dustpan and set up a small tarp to make sure my floor didn’t get dirty. Not essay to get these types of employees today. The electrician, Jimmy was super polite, knowledgeably and clean. Overall a great experience. I recommend Venture to everyone.

Introduction to the company was touch notch. Follow up and planning spelled out clearly. Company’s appointments keep on time and complete. Installation day was productive and well organized. Employees were efficient and polite. Concerns were addressed immediately. Follow up came the next day for a quality completion.

All the guys were very nice, respectful, and friendly during install. Install didn’t take too long either considering the heat of the day. When inspecting my attic after install I did notice a single screw missed the rafter it was supposed to be drilled into. Great guys, good install work.

Good staff make all the difference

Venture Solar staff were professional, kind and reliable. At each step in the process, they explained what was happening, they always showed up when they said they would, and they dealt uncomplainingly with rude and unresponsive municipal staff who made their lives (and mine) difficult. I will be happy to recommend them to others, but in Belmont I would wait until I make it clear to my local elected representative and town staff that they need to improve their performance and be more responsive both to contractor staff and to the residents of Belmont who pay their salaries. I look forward to lower electric bills and years of trouble-free solar panels! I want to make a special effort to thank Tristan Souza, who was my main point of contact with Venture Solar over these last few weeks. Through a good deal of frustration caused by the Town of Belmont, Tristan stayed cheerful and made daily contact to let me know what was happening. She is a gem and I hope you all appreciate her. The title of my review says it all.

Great Customer Service

Very responsive and friendly customer service. I spoke to Welly to inquire about the tax incentives and she stated she would find out and get back to me. She called me back several days later and answered my question. She also provided documentation that the paperwork was filed. Very nice person to deal with.

Jhosua, was very informative and patient helping me through the process of how my solar system works. Service was 10/10!

Excellent install and strong communication throughout

I had a great experience with Venture Solar from start to finish. The sales process was low-pressure and informative—they helped me clearly understand the incentives, system design, and what to expect. Everything stayed on schedule, and their install team was professional, efficient, and respectful of the property. Communication was consistent at every stage, and even after the system was live, their support team was responsive with any questions I had. Highly recommend if you're looking for a local team that actually follows through.

Tyler and his team were awesome! It was really fun being able to see the metering as soon as the install was finished. Josh and Dan were super friendly and informative during the initial calls, and the overall process was really seamless.

Quick install

The day after a major snowstorm the crew came and had my roof reinforced and most of the track put up outside in a few hours. This was after they cleaned all the snow from the roof. Second day another couple of hours the electric was connected and the panels went on. The crew was very professional and polite. Great experience overall!

Nice and Easy Experience

I had my system installed in 2024 - quoting and installation were quick and easy. Had a small hiccup that required changing conduit on the roof to pass inspection - Venture Solar handled it quickly and my finance first payment were adjusted without any input from me. I was happy to use them look forward to saving money on my electric bills over time.

Installation

Solar panels were installed yesterday. Weather was iffy but Brandon made safe decisions for his crew. They adjusted what they needed to do and when the weather improved, they safely did the roof work. All crew members were professional and communication and teamwork was fantastic.
