TriSMART Solar

The sales representative was disingenuous about the cancellation fee being paid for, the install was poor at the end they couldn't get the wifi to work. I was told a final inspection was next and my questions and info about the system would be answered. Nobody ever came, I have no idea what to do with this. They don't answer their phone but when you do get to the que and wait for ever all the sudden your next a message about " due to shortages leave a message". Shortages?! You are a company not a strained government agency! You can con me leave me with a 400 dollar cancellation fee, and have door to door salesman who utterly LIE, but you poor things are experiencing a "shortage"? Now Solrite says you have disappeared on them and no longer install for them?

Sales not 100% truthful, nor clear about "lease/purchase" contract. Represented self as employee of Oncor. Misrepresented who and role of Trismart and Green Leap.

Trismart was supposed to complete an electrical installation, but they never showed up. They didn’t even call. This happened twice. The last time they came out, they left boxes everywhere and promised to come back the following week to finish the installation. But no one showed up. After calling customer service, they couldn’t explain why their installation team didn’t show up, but they could see that my name was on the schedule. I rescheduled the second time, but the same thing happened. No call, no show. Despite two separate commitments, this company has failed to appear or communicate. They’ve clearly breached their contract and neglected their obligations. I’m seriously considering taking this matter to court. This company should be investigated and shut down.

I was having a agate fault with my system for over 2 weeks. I have called TriStart solar to fix my issue and it's been over a week and I have yet to hear from them. I don't understand this company and how they can just blatantly mistreat their customers like this. I sent one email to Franklin and my system was back up within 30 minutes. After trismart solar told me they could not do anything on their end. They would have to come out.

We got solar pannels installed a little over 2 years ago. 36 panels costing us 68,000$ dollars. With the promise that they would cover 90% of our electric bill. the first year was great. Then there was a "Voltage Event" and for the last year I have been fighting with them to fix our panels. We had 17 offline, after 5 months we got them out here and they fixed 3 of them. We still have 14 offline. This is costing me so much more than they are worth. I am paying an increasingly high electric bill along with the payments for the panels. They tell me "I'm sorry we are expericing a high volume of issues and will get to it eventually". I am never able to speak with the same representative twice. They never escalate the call to a supervisor "Supervisor does not take calls without an appointment". This is breaking my family. I regret getting these pannels and wish that I never tried to do better for my family and the enviorment. These people are worthless. They never call me back. They will ocassionally schedule appointments to get it fixed when I call and then a day before the appointment they send me a non-replyable text message that the appointment has been canceled. I hope someone can break these people cause they've broken me and my families finances. They tell me that I cant cancel and get out of it. My contract apparently states that I'm just screwed, I have to pay what they say even if they are not doing what is required of them. Stay away from Tri-Smart solar. I wish that I had. So much for trying and saving for the future. Every drop of our money is going into paying for these horrid roof decorations.

Worst thing that ever happened to me. 12 panels worth almost 30k with a promised to reduce my electric bill. Avoid this company at all costs. I have them for almost 2 years now and been in contact back and forth as they don't acknowledge the issue with the low solar production. The estimated kw production is not met and after months of months of communication with them, instead of helping they decided to sell me more solar panels. They are scammers.

My name is Jeff Armstrong and I’d like to leave an honest review! It started off real shakey but in the end, TriSMART did eventually get my Solar panels install properly! It all started with the survey, the tech/engineer came out took a look at my house, did a drone fly-over, and took a lot of notes. I got a copy of the plans and lay out sent to me and after looking at the layout I noticed that the tech had incorrectly drawn my breaker box located in the wrong garage. Well I figured they would figure it out when they showed. I believe they showed up a week later than planned due to sone other work they said they had planned. When the tech team showed up to install, they stated that the breaker box is on the wrong side of house that would not be able to install today without a resolution. They called their engineer and I guess he was able to figure out how they needed to install the color system with my breaker box on other side of house. They finally started to do the install but let me tell you they started around 12pm and it was hot, probably 104 outside and no shade. I told them to not get over heated and take whatever breaks they needed to stay cool and hydrated. I even set-up a shade area and fan in my driveway if they wanted to take breaks to cool off. Well about an hour and a half goes by and the lead tech rings doorbell and states that his crew has quit and they will have to stop work. I sided with his crew as it was just too hot to be up on the roof in the middle of the day! So they at least got the solar control box installed but no panels. I got a call a day or so later from TriSmart wanting to send out another crew. I obliged and they came out the following week and worked all day in the hot 105 degree heat to get the panels installed. The crew worked until 9pm getting everything done. I got a call from TriSmart stating they needed to send techs out to complete a few things that weren’t completed. So the same crew lead came out and installed the grounding wires and grounding rods for the system and said they were complete. Then I got a call a few days later stating that they needed to come back out as they are having an issue with a couple of my panels. So a new crew came out a few days later and we’re there early in the morning and worked up until 8pm. I’m starting to wonder what they were doing for so long. So I had my wife ask the lead tech what they had to do and he stated that the previous crew had only installed half of the supports that were required for my system. So with that I think they finally got it right on the install and TriSmart sent notification to me that my system was operating correctly and I just needed to select a power company that bought back the extra KWh that I was generating. I’d say that TriSmart did a good job of getting the system installed correctly but why would the previous crew not install it as per the design!? Overall I’m happy they got it right as I don’t have a clue if it was right or not and glad I didn’t have to wait until a storm came and blew them off to find out they only had half the supports holding them. Ask me if I would recommend TriSmart to others? I would knowing that they on their own will make sure your system is correct and will send techs out to make sure it is properly installed.

I have been asking for help to understand my solar and cant get anyone to respond.I don't believe they works I have not seen a difference in my bill I paid $400.00 and up on my bill each month .And now I pay $400.00 and up +$285.00 for 49 panels. my bill still stays high. I was told 49 panels would cover all my usage and it hasn't. I had mine put on in may 2020 and still no one will help me with this. It is 9/13/2022 still waiting.I hope you go with a CO, that will take care of you Trismart wont after you sign they don't care. Its all good when they sale to you but after *watch out..*

Tri smart is an amazing company and is super friendly in working with clients. The installers are amazing and will provide the best service possible!!

A TriSmart rep came and talked to us before summer 2021. We ordered over $50,000 worth of solar panels which were not installed until October. As of today (February 8, 2022), our panels are still not doing anything but catching dust and pigeon poo. They claim the job was "complete" on Jan 3, but the Glendale Arizona inspector was just here and failed the job (again) because they didn't follow the blueprints. I can't get anyone to answer their "customer service" number and the rep here in Arizona doesn't have any information regarding the account. Lucky us, we not only get to pay full price for our electric, but we also get to pay for the turd catchers on our brand new roof. Go with a different company that values you and keeps you informed.

Ryan is amazing!!!!! I regret not going solar with his company. He is a very genuine person and here to help you. My experience I want to talk is that I choice another company for solar and have been struggling with them since day one. Ryan took the time to come to my house and talk everything over to help educate me on all my question and worries. Not only did he come over for free but he helped solve all my question and my problems! Should have went with Ryan from day one!

I had been considering solar for over six years and finally decided to go for it when a company (not TriSMART) convinced me to pull the trigger; however, I wanted to get other estimates. Charlie from TriSMART sat down with me and gave an apples-to-apples comparison of their solar solution vs. the other companies’ proposals. I liked the fact that Charlie did not try and push me into an immediate sale but patiently and thoroughly explained the differences between panels and how their system could outperform and guarantee (with their minimum production guarantee) that my solar needs would be met over the lifetime of the system. To be honest, I had already signed an agreement with that first company but I was still within the 7-day window of cancellation (and was having doubts about what I had signed up for) as I bombarded Charlie with many questions which he answered promptly. His responsiveness, attitude, and his proposal convinced me to cancel the first contract and sign up with TriSMART. I can honestly tell you that I felt an immediate sense of relief with my decision and even today, seven months after the system has been producing, I am still happy with my choice. It did take longer than expected to get the system fully operational - installation was quick but permits and inspections were slower than expected thanks to Covid. I reached out several times to TriSMART and they were responsive but we still had to wait for city and/or CPS to give the final approval to turn it on. Other than that, I have been very happy with the installation and operation of my system.

Customer service was top notch they kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. We love our system with TriSMART and love our new electric bill even more. Thank you!

Trismart made the installation process very easy. All of their salesmen and technicians are knowledgeable and helpful, and they always respond in a timely manner.

I have now had Solar installed by TriSmart for a year now. They met with my wife and I and we talked about system size. The size they recommended currently takes care of about 2/3 of my total power consumption over the year. The return on investment is good. I pay about $110/month on a 20-year loan (from their preferred lender) and I save at least $20/month. The solar panels produce about $150 worth of power per month, on average. Overall satisfied. If I had to do it again, I would get a bigger system. Overall, the sales team and the support team have been great, as well as their preferred lender, which to be honest can be hard to do. Not to mention these are some of the best-looking panels on my roof, especially compared to some of my neighbors.

Charlie and all staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with have been excellent and professional, always answering any questions or concerns I may have. I’m definitely glad I got my solar from this company. Highly recommend!

Good customer service, easy financing options with no hassle. Charlie Heaton helped my husband and I. He supported us throughout the entire process including documentation needed for approval through the HOA. I would make the purchase from TriSMART Solar if option was needed again. The cost of electric is not a budget concern anymore.

Since going solar my bills have dropped to nearly nothing. Its been great, i tell everyone about Trismart and have loved my experience.

Jacob was my sales rep and he did a phenomenal job. He explained the process and everything went according to plans. When there were hiccups, Jacob was there to answer my questions. Strongly recommend!

We were scheduled for our first appt with an electrician 12/21/20 they no showed. We were rescheduled for 1/4/21 they showed up. The next time was to have the panels installed. They were installed and then we heard nothing more. The installation crew left a hole saw drill bit in my yard and it was ran over by the mower which needed a blade replacement. I contacted them about the next step. We were schedule for an inspection I think 3/12/21. They no showed. The inspection then took place 3/15/21 without notice of appt to me or husband prior too. I am still waiting for the CPS commission today 3/23/21. A six to eight week process has become eight to twelve. I have made my first loan payment and my system isn't up and running yet.

Solar installation was great. Maintenance has been a terrible experience so far. No one answers messages left through email and call center.

Did they install my panels in a timely manner...yes, I was able to talk with them and connect with them prior to the panels being installed. Once I started asking where my promised cash was, I never heard from them again. I hope nothing happens to the panels because I doubt they will ever do what they promised which was to be with me through out the WHOLE process.

Shopped around a little before settling on TriSMART. They won me over with their 25 year warranties across the board. Cheaper than my current electric company anyway, so why not go with quality. They walked me through the design, and permitting and installation were taken care of for me. Now I own clean energy and save money every month.

No call back no one checked back with me

I have been interested in solar energy for a long time. My electric cost in the summer was more than $250.00 per month. When Issac Burnside came to the appointment, he was thoughtful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions (I had a list). He explained everything. The panels are guaranteed for 25 years...even against hail. So many great benefits. My panels are already generating energy! I am ecstatic! AND, my cost is reduced! Win, win!

After hearing presentations by four rooftop solar installers we choose TriSMART on the basis of their analysis of our electricity needs, details on warranties and installation, and cost for our system. They were the most competitive bid for the same type of solar panels, warranties, and installation and they performed as scheduled.

We are new to solar and Gary explained everything very well. We decided to commit and every since then it has all been seamless. From the initial visit to the installation it was all smooth. I look forward to seeing our savings!

Trismart is great to work with. They use the best equipment and have a very seamless process from sale to install to help customers have an A+ experience. I have been super happy with our panels and havent had an electric bill for about a year.

Going with this company for Solar has been an absolute nightmare. Speaking with the consultant, everything seemed fine, we told him what we wanted and relayed our concerns, he reassured us we would get the production we desired. After signing our contract, we where told we had 7 days to review and cancel if we didnt agree, this would have been fine except we didnt receive the contract the day we signed it, we didnt recieve the contract after the 7 days where up, we didnt recieve the contract after we'd requested it multiple times, we only just received the contract months down the road. Finally after reviewing our contract, we noticed things weren't aligned with what was discussed during our consult. The production wasnt what we requested even tho we are paying extra for panels. We where also told there would be no cost assosiated with removing/reinstalling panels for roof repairs, while the contract states otherwise. When addressing our concerns with the company they just replied that our consultant was no longer employed there and that we had 7 days to review the contract... pretty much get over it. To make matters worse, half the panels wherent even active for the entire first month due to incorrect insulation, so we ended up with our first solar bill, as well as a pretty high power bill. When discussing this with the company, they didnt offer any reimbursement to their companies bad install, they just replied that we had 7 days to review the contact... the contract we didnt recieve until months down the road.

I have been looking for solar or wind systems for about 12 years. I have had several bids from other companies, but their offices were all far away (Dallas, Houston, El Paso), and their prices were were far higher (most recent bid was $10000 more for a similar system). My system, because of the way my house is roofed, had to be ground mounted, and that is what I insisted on for all bids. Surprisingly, a ground mounted system, even if non-tracking, costs more than a roof-mounted system. Gary White worked with me on the details of the system and the payment options. Any questions I had, he either answered immediately or got the answers from his engineers and installation crew. One issue that concerned me was that the sole-source electrical provider in our area, XCEL Energy, does not allow net metering - they will pay you $0.03/kW, and charge you $20.00/month for the meter. Gary helped size a system that provided 1/3-1/2 of the electricity used (and for the first 3 days 1/2 the electricity is still going to XCEL). The installation crew, when they came, were professional and installed my system in 3 days, including one for digging and concreting in the support posts. They answered my questions with any evasions, and were friendly as well. I had some post-installation questions (my system is not in any city limits, and there are no county inspections of work performed), and Gary and the Master Electrician for the company, Joel Johnson, were able to put my mind at ease. The system has been on for 4 days now, and during peak hours is producing 40-50% more electricity than we consume during those hours. The size of my system is 7.44 kW DC / 5.76 kW AC, to let you know the inverter and line losses.

I have had nothing but issues since I have gotten my panels installed. The sales people are wonderful and will sell you a dream of customer service and satisfaction experience, but after you start working with any of the other other departments you will be sadly disappointed. I have been arguing with them for months about having them finish the work at my house or take their product back. If you are reading this hopefully before save your time and find another company because you will be sadly disappointed!

Excellent presentation by Charlie Heaton. Had chance to compare two teams of installers, different products, at the same time. Like night & day. TriSMART guys were thorough, polite, professional, best of all, competent. Other group were a joke. Another story for another day! I recommend TriSMART because of their excellent performance. Class act and group of guys.

Aimee and Charlie are super helpful and did everything they could to make the whole process seamless. Our energy bill has dropped over 80% since our solar panels have been installed and I can honestly say that we are glad that we decided to go solar and to go with TriSmart.

Charlie Heaton was my sales rep and while I like Charlie as a person, I’ve been having issues with these panels since they were installed on my home. Installation was December 8, 2017. The panels didn’t go active until the last week of March 2018. By May, the microinverters were tripping and I wasn’t getting any production from the panels. Here it is October and the same crap is happening. Over the months I’ve noticed my bill being high but thought maybe because it was the summer. There’s only two people living in my home and currently with the panels I’m paying more for my energy than I was without. This is absolutely ridiculous. What is my guarantee as a customer? Pay for something that doesn’t work?!? Once the warranty wears off who will service these faulty panels. I’m pissed!

I had the pleasure to worked with Charlie two years ago and I am glad I did. After interviewing with four different solar companies, at the end of the day they just wanted to make a sale no matter what ( little lies mixed with some truth). The reason I went with Charlie was for the sole reason he gained my Trust, because he Cared, and was Helpful and willing to educate his customer... No Sales Pitch. The whole installation process went smooth from start to finish with no hassle. Charlie always kept us in the loop with constant communication and never had to guess what came next.

The overall process was so easy and very efficient. The main reason is how thorough Zach Baker is with the whole process. The permitting, inspection, installation was wonderful everything taken care of in a very professional manner. I would recommend TriSmart and Zach to everyone in Amarillo, West Texas area he will take care of you and he answers you right away. I was skeptical about panels, solely because I wasn’t educated on the science behind them and what they can do. Mr. J Carter did an amazing job making my wife and I feel comfortable in investing in these panels. They have lived up to their purpose and have saved us so much money. All with Mr. Carter going above and beyond it seemed to help us along the way. You don’t see that much these days. Everyone worries about quantity over quality. We received quality. Thank you for the positive experience.

I worked with Jeremy Carter and what can I say it was the best experience with a sales person that I have ever had! Its very rare these days that you find a salesman that keeps their word. From the salesman to the install crew everything couldn't have been better.

Loved the process from beginning to end. Everything was smooth and I like that they did all the permitting and dealing with the HOA for me.

Upon signing our contract our Rep Charlie did a awesome job breaking down the info and making it easy to understand. The company helped us with finance, the 0 money down was huge seller and the CPS rebate applied right away. The customer service is top notch! I love how on top of things they are. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because the communication between the company, myself and CPS could of been better. We struggled a bit to get the panels turned on which was a let down since we were anxious to see savings. Remember it's not instant but comparison is the key! Give it time to show you what it can do and keep a close eye on your bars from last year to this. Although it will take time to pay off the panels we can't wait until they are officially ours. To give an idea of our summer savings in Texas summer instead of $300 for our 2 story it was $120! We love our panels, we love this company and we love our savings!
