Fantastic job Sunrun took care of everything and kept me informed. The new system is operating excellent. Tesla 3 battery system keeps me informed on mobile app is brilliant. Not having to rely on PG$E for power and there continue rate increases. Having the whole house backed up is a good security for my family and future black outs. My car charging is outstanding results and control is so much better now.

I was excited to get solar power. I selected Sunrun because of Costco. I consider them a business with integrity. My solar was turned on in April. In July I received a bill from So Calif Edison for $500 . I was shocked. I called my salesman 8 days in a row and he refused to answer my calls. Finally another bill I called customer service. A very nice man talked to me and suggested I may need a few more panels. He said he would pass on my problem. It is Nov 1st and I am still waiting for someone to explain and fix my problem

Not working still
I’ve been waiting for how many months and it’s still not working. They didn’t tell me about this will happen. So I’ve been contacting some person and they will reply after a week. Which makes me more mad about it. You ask for review and this is my honest review from you guys.

I was so pleased with my Sunrun experience. Both the support staff and installers were very knowledgeable. Any minor scheduling questions were answered very capably. Each step of the process included contact persons who responded quickly to answer any questions or concerns that came up.

Easy to work with
Sunrun has made going solar easy. They set an initial appointment a couple of days after I contacted them. They did all the applications with the city, state, and ComEd. And the panels were up and running within a month of first contact. At the beginning, a setting in their software was wrong and they sent someone out to fix it before I had a chance to call them. They have taken very good care of us and the system is producing plenty of energy.

I am glad I decided to go the solar route . I will admit I was skeptical at first . But all that changed. The whole process was handled with class and I was informed every step of the way . If you are on the fence , go all in! So happy I did !!

Sunrun solar panels were installed July 1st, today is Nov 1st we have twenty five solar panels and twelve of the panels were never working. Two of their tech teams have come out twice to fix them and they didn’t know how, it was above their pay scale.

Our sales consultant Christian was wonderful. Able to answer our questions, followed thru when he said he would, held our hand and guided us up to installation and still available for any questions. The men who inspected the house, installed the panels, changed over the electrical panels were all professional, personable and willing to explain the process. They even came when the city inspected the work! They went above and beyond. We are so pleased with the solar panels and can't wait to switch over to them!

Don't
To anyone looking to add sunrun solar to there home, don't do it, I was mislead, misinformed flat out lied too. The solar reps, came to my home home explained and outlined everything to me in regards to sunrun solar, and that I would only have one bill and one bill only, and that I would not have a Edison bill anymore, wow great sounds good, flat out lie, I've been receiving Edison bills ever since I signed up with sunrun, I'm now paying to bills a month, they are loosers, I'm waiting for a class action lawsuit i know will be coming soon. My advice to anyone who's looking into getting sunrun solar, beware.... don't do it.

We had our solar install back in june 2024 and now we are in november and they cant seem to get us connected to PG&E. I keep getting the run around and excuses from them that PGE is back logged and some missing photos. Every time I contact the person in charge of the final step i get a different excuse and a no answer to my phone calls or texts. At this point if i dont get this resolved ASAP i will cancel this whole thing and have it removed from my home. This is ridiculous going on 6mo since install. I will definitely not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Excellent service before the sale
we had the best experience with our sales person and with the installation team. But once that was complete, it was next to impossible to get anyone to answer our phone calls or answer our questions or email. The service after the sale was horrible.

Poor communications
The process of getting panels on the home was extremely quick but getting them inspected and turned on has taken months and still not complete! The process was given to a 3rd party to complete the install and inspections and SunRun expects the 3rd party to maintain comms….here’s the thing, I didn’t sign a contract with the 3rd party. I expect SunRun to run the point for all comms, regardless of who is doing the work. I even had damage to my property from the 3rd party, who promised to take care of it promptly…that was 9 weeks ago and it still isn’t resolved.
