We have had Sun Run for five years. We are very happy. It saves us a lot of money. The only complaint that we can come up with is we wish we blanketed the whole entire house with solar because our usage has gone up since we got it but we’re very happy with Sun Run Stephen Woodcock was pleasant.

Good decision

Thus far our experience with Sunrun has been good. Our representative, Alexis, his always been available to help us with any questions or concerns we may have. The installation went well. There were a few issues when we finally got the okay from ComEd to use the solar panels that did take a little bit to resolve

I regret ever choosing Sunrun for my backup battery system.

I regret ever choosing Sunrun for my backup battery system. The battery is only two years old and it’s already failing. Most recently, it completely stopped working, leaving my family without power for two full days and nights during a summer heatwave. The backup system failed when we needed it most. I contacted Sunrun immediately, and they told me it would take 3–5 business days for a technician to respond. That kind of delay is unacceptable—especially when you’re dealing with a power outage. To make things worse, both their customer service and regional support teams were unhelpful and dismissive. I was told there was nothing they could do. I even explained that I rely on a medical device at night that requires electricity, per my doctor’s orders. Only after I brought that up did they escalate the issue and schedule a technician within 24 hours. It shouldn’t take a medical emergency for them to take action. Sunrun has no emergency support, poor customer service, and an unreliable product. I’m incredibly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Very professional

My experience with Sunrun has been excellent from the start. Communication has been outstanding. I’ve been kept in the loop continually. The install was done by 4 craftsmen who were all very professional, knowledgeable and safety aware. They cleaned up everything. The only evidence they had been there was the installed system.

We are very happy with Sunrun. From the initial consultation with Don and Matthew to setting us up to get the solar panels. The Sunrun employees were very nice and kept everything clean and organized. Everything went smoothly and with no stress ! We are very satisfied with the entire process! Thank you Sunrun !

The install was done in a timely manner but they left a lot of little plastic bits and screws and clips I’m still picking up. Also there were holes drilled in my house and not used or filled in. There is a pipe along side the house that was installed in a manner that pulled the fascia away and didn’t hold anything substantial on the wall. Basically it looks stupid and nonfunctional. Also had an instance where they hit my horse trailer and knocked it off its support block. They put it back on the block but now my screw jack is tight like the rod got bent. Other than that I have solar panels and some batteries and I’m just waiting to be able to use them.

We recently had Stephen Woodcock come by and help us save money with solar. We also got a battery so we will never lose power again. Sunrun was very professional.

Every one was very professional. When I asked question, they explained what the procedure was. And what was going to happen with the next step..

Very pleased with the level of professionalism shown by all staff members. There was a very short amount of time between my first encounter with Quinn and the installation of my panels etc. Just waiting now for the inspection by the City of Glendale. Looking forward to watching my meter run backwards.

He explained how to get a permit and there after the steps. His excellent qualities made the whole process stress free. Sunrun installation

Installation day went great. Courteous crew. Very informative and answered all questions we had. After the job was done they cleaned up well enough that you couldn’t tell they were here. My sales rep even showed up on install day. Inspection day went smooth as well with no issues. Solar system is working great and saving me money especially during this heat wave.

Horrible

This company is horrible. I installed solar panels prior to getting a pool which was fine. They told me to call sun run to get an assessment after I got the pool. They came and said I needed 14 or 15 more panels which I didnt understand because it took over a year to get panels after my pool was built. When it was finally activated, I was paying more than what I was previously paying with the pool and my true up was even way more. I called saying there's beeping on the unit outside and they indicated everything is running fine. These guys are crooks.

Over the moon with Sunrun

I just wanted to share how happy I am about finally getting solar panels and a backup battery installed in my home through Sunrun. For the last 5 years my energy bill has almost doubled and don’t see it coming down. And with the crazy weather we have in Houston I’m always worried our power will go out. Now the option to do something about it—and not pay anything upfront—is AMAZING. This made going solar possible for me when I thought it would be out of reach financially. The whole setup was so much easier than I was expecting. My sales rep, Paul Miller and his team basically did all the legwork—from permits to HOA approvals—and he kept me updated along the way. I really appreciated how I didn’t have to worry about the details; they handled everything. The actual installation was quick and didn’t turn my house upside down. Now that everything’s up and running, I’m excited about finally getting a break from high energy bills. It feels good knowing I’m less dependent on the grid, and I have backup power in case of an outage. Overall, I’m SUPER happy I chose Sunrun as my new energy provider. Communication can be spotty at times

Some of their staff definitely has been helpful. The installation (which is still on going at the moment) is becoming a nightmare. We started this process early in the year and we're still trying to get the installation finished
