Solar upgrade

Had Sunrun install solar panels last year. It helped, but got hit with $1000 true-up bill. Sunrun came back and added 7 more panels and battery pack. Too soon to tell if this will fix it. Both install crews, last year and this year, were highly skilled, very neat in the installation on my house and cleaned up after themselves like they were never there.

Wonderful Installation

They were great very prompt and courteous. They did the job efficiently and timely. The sales rep was great as well he explained everything and followed up with me regarding the process and what it entailed.

Go with any other company BUT them

System has not worked from the beginning! They schedule appointments for weeks out and if it still doesn't work they wait weeks again! Customer service is absolutely NON existent! They assign case managers who never call you back. You can leave a dozen messages and call over and over again. Lots of lip service and you get NOWHERE! They seem wonderfully professional through the set up process but after the system is in they DO NOT CARE if it works or not but you will sure get billed. They will push their performance guarantee but good luck getting anywhere with it. Now we pay the electric bill along with their monthly fee!!!! FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

Overall Josh d, my representative amazing. Install team amazing. Overall scheduling for install, reschedules and delays due to higher management not wanting team to come back next day to finish not a good look. That experience not good took 2 weeks for them to come back due to management

We met with Kade from Sunrun. He was knowledgeable and forthright. We had many questions and concerns about the process, but he put us at ease in a very open manner. We now feel much better about the possibility of Solar for our home. We would encourage a meeting with them.

Excellent service

The service was excellent. I work 2nd shift. I got home at 1am and text some questions hoping to get them answered by the time I got up. They answered me right away and called me and took care of all my concerns. From start to current the services provided by Sunrun has been swift and excellent. Ty sunrun.

Their customer service is collapsing!

I had my Sunrun panels removed for a hail-damaged roof Oct 2024. They were unable to use their own team to remove ans reinstall. Terrible results from the 3rd party installers with 2 panels not producing power. After dealing with Sunrun for 6 months now my meter is worthless and the app shows zero communication. Customer service is just horrible now since the Federal energy credits are expiring! Don't use them as bankruptcy is in the future!

The installers damaged the shingles on my patio roof by putting the panel supports in the wrong place. SunRun was supposed to arrange to have a roofer contact me that has not happened. Also, I’m waiting on PG&E to come out and finalize the project. I’ve sent messages to SunRun representatives and gotten no replies.

Each step taken was explained throughly. Their app helped as well. Overall, very pleased with SunRun.

Had sunrun fir 3 years loved it getting sunrun on my new home with battery and smart panel. Thanks to Stephen Woodcock

The downward spiral continues

I had an install of both batteries (two Tesla batteries) and panels added to my existing solar panels. Since then, I have had horrible functionality issues with the panels and the batteries, and Sunrun customer services has been the WORST. I received an email from them offering a $100 credit toward my Sunrun bill (which is a giant joke since I am still on the one dollar a month initial introductory pricing) to assuage me for a $400 energy bill from SDGE (another bunch of crooks, but I digress). Just this weekend, there was a planned outage from SDGE and the batteries did not sustain the power in the house for the time that the power was out, in the middle of the night, with no major output happening.

Solar installation

the installers were prompt and we were installed by the end of the day. The only problem with them was they were very loud and boisterous and messy. Other than that, all was good.

So far so good

I'm currently waiting for town inspection. And so far everything has happened as specified by the Sunrun team.

2 years still haply

We got solar two years ago. It saves us a lot of money. We barely pay the electric company anything anymore highly recommend sunrun. Stephen Woodcock was instrumental.

Seniors Be Careful w Sunrun { Disable} Seniors prey upon

California Bill AB-2471 and even Sunrun has a 5 day cancellation policy.We clearly cancel after only 2 days, we didn't need a reason, but my concern was we never saw a written 54 page contract, Sunrun action after our cancellation was to rush the installation of panels under the duress of placing a lien on our home.The amount never stated in writing, they are claiming now we owe them $109,000.00.They are big bullies, rep can back to our home upset about the 1 star feedback, avoid this company, you can read all the complaints.We now are paying PGE and Sunrun,we are forced to pay under dispute, Sunrun doesn't address the complaint.....Senior elderly abuse, Its theft by False pretense..A local contractor stated the system isn't worth more than $30,000

2 no call no shows

Held me hostage 2 Saturdays in a row. First time I rescheduled after waiting over an hour with zero communication. Second time, I waited 2 hours before canceling. The person on the phone said that they cancelled on me due to tree shade. Never once was I relayed this information. Mind you, I received emails and texts stating their arrive time, nothing about cancellation. Also, when I was first approached by this company, they spoke about working around tree removal etc. Thus, I will never do business with a disrespectful company.

Great service and technicians, highly recommend!

I originally met with Jason, the sales guy and he was great. Explained everything to me, different benefits and options and the process. He was great! Friendly, communicative, and easy to work with. The process actually went pretty well with very little needed from me. The tech who came to get measurements was also super friendly and easy to work with. Once we got approval for permitting I was able to get on the schedule right away due to a cancellation and the next day the team was out at my house installing. These guys were awesome! Professional, friendly, did a really great job and were finished much faster than I expected. They left everything looking so nice that you couldn’t even tell they were here. With the financing options, great service and friendly techs, I highly recommend this company and will refer to everyone I know!

We got solar 2 years ago and we barely have an electric bill now. Sun run is quick to respond and helpful and has always looked out for my best interest. Can’t say enough good about them. Stephen Woodcock was awesome.
